I got some new insight of how to change oil in the forks, Thanks! I believe that Hyperpro wants you to install the springs differently, with the tighter part up, as in there kit, for my DL 650.
You don't understand what it takes to make a video and then develop an opinion like your comment. I found the video is pretty good in the gist on suspension choice and how to go about the basics.
@@paz2wheels I can give you motorcycle suspension lessons if you want to. My current hourly rate is € 215. Regarding your work you should read the service manual. Knowledge of the SV650 makes the work a lot faster and you are less likely to damage the bike. I guess many garages in Australia work in the same way that you do. In Europe we are spoiled with SV650 suspension specialists.
@fuglbird no thanks, I can think of better things to spend my money on. That hilarious, people actually specialise in SV650’s in Europe!? Mate it’s about as complicated as lego, are these specialists toddlers? I can rebuild these engines blindfolded. We don’t specialise in these things in Oz cause we can do everything here. But Europe is a continent in decline so that does not surprise me that you need specialists for something simple like this. Thanks for the kind words and good luck with the lessons.
I was recommended the wrong spring rate for my K tech razor R shock. I could not set my sag correctly. Had to remove it and replace with the right spring, .95 for my weight.
Thanks for the insights. I got also hyperpro suspension on my Ktm 390 Adventure and it works amazing
They are really worth the coin!
Clean vid with good narration 🙌🏻
Appreciate it! Cheers

Depends of the kit and model. Generally for conventional forks the tight coil is at the bottom.
I had been looking out your garage window and thinking that looks like Australia and even Sydney park where zen isolated!
We’re right opposite Sydney park at 200 Euston rd Alexandria. Good spot.
Would it make sense to only upgrade the forks? I feel like the original shock is not to bad, but the forks are really awefull.
yep they are pants.
Ive seen people put the tight coiled end on the top
You can in some set up for sure.
0:53 Hyperpro is actually Dutch, not from the UK
You are correct. Their wiki indicated they have head office in the UK which threw me off.
After seeing this guy work on a bike and hearing him "explain" springs I wouldn't let him near my SV650.
Appreciate the feedback, not the right video if you want detailed suspension lesson. Not sure whats wrong with the work though?

What tech is the voice?
I used to use a voice over app called speechify but i dont use it anymore.
This is lame. I've replaced my shock on my 3gen sv twice and never had to remove the tank.
Wow good for you dude! More than one way to skin a cat a i guess? 😂
Why do you have to keep replacing shocks out of interest?
