Rick is a very fast speaker so I wonder is it important to speak fast to become a good salesman? I speak rather slowly but I can type fast with 10 fingers.
Yet again, another video watched that gives general information about Tech Sales, but doesn't go into detail about what it is that you're actually selling to businesses, why would they need the product/service and how would their company be assessed as to why they'd need the product. Me looking into getting into to tech-sales cannot benefit from multiple TH-camrs who simply generalize the role. What is Tech Sales "You work from home/office and you sell products to businesses". That's not helpful to me. What are the exact products/services/hardware that I'll be selling, and why would the customer/business need them? How would it benefit the customer? How much does the product typically cost, (Is it a monthly fee we're charging them, is it a flat fee)? TH-camrs are merely promoting the role of Tech-Sales without actually and distinctively going into specific details about the role. I'm not sold.
Well that depends on the company you're an account executive for. Whatever the company is selling via product or service, is what you will be taught on the job. Through experience you will understand the clients to sell too, what closing works best, and more.
