September Symposium Series (2022): Women and Parkinson's

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease that is complex, diverse, and comes with varying challenges with symptoms in disease progression. While a diagnosis for Parkinson’s may be more prevalent among males than females, research shows that Parkinson’s presents itself differently in women. Dr. Fullard discusses how Parkinson’s specifically affects women and the differences women experience with PD compared to men living with PD.
