Thanks for sharing Andrea and Zack! Audi SQ5 would be my choice dollar for dollar... but that doesn't matter when it comes to the Porsche Macan. It's an aspirational make and for all those new customers that buy the Macan value for dollar is not a factor.
As I get older, I can’t fold my 6’6” frame in and out of smaller sportier cars without back and knee difficulty. The Macan GTS is the sports car for me. :)
Hi Zack and Andrea - I hear Porsche will be unveiling the all new Macan later this year so reckon it will be better to wait for that one. It will have to be competively priced if Porsche want to continue to sell the Macan in such high volumes. My dealer has said the new model is likely to carry a £4k (7k Canadian) premium over the S petrol. So still affordable to aspiring Macan owners at today’s price if you go easy on those extras! Best Clive
BTW I think the reason people give the Q5 a pass and not the Macan when it comes to engine power and performance is because the Q5 similarly equipped is much less expensive than the Macan.
Nice review! Sure this base model starts at 58K, but I used the configurator on the base model and got it to 110K and it still wasn't fully loaded! For 261hp, that's a hard pill to swallow.
@@johnholst Oh absolutely, it's ridiculous. If I am at $100,000 in options on the base model, I am going to buy the S or GTS models with less features, I would rather have the power and the V6. I'm not paying that for a base engine.
I've been a Porsche owner since 1978, all sports cars. While I appreciate the SUVs they are pricey when compared to the competition. And the fuel mileage isn't great, but I understand that's a trade off for sportiness and towing capacity. I'm sticking with the 2 seaters and going elsewhere for a daily driver. Excellent review as always!
Like Zack and Andrea, I've had a couple Porsche sports cars, a 911 and a 928S. My next one will be a Macan S, as my days of getting in and out of sports cars are over, plus, 911s are just too expensive now, even used ones and especially vintage ones. Sorry, an 84 Carrera is not worth $60k-80k+. The Macan S seems like a perfect all around vehicle for 2 people. Fun to drive, great looking, quiet and comfortable, easy to get in and out of, practical, etc.

You guys are always on the point . It all comes down to the budget . Porsche Macan is marked up around $10000 more than its German competitors with the similar engine and features.

Great Review Guys as usual. I am really glad that they have the base model in the 4 Cylinder, here in Jamaica, the import duty is based on engine size, so there is a huge difference between prices of the base and s models! I have my base on order for May delivery, can’t wait! I did notice something in your review that I did not notice in any of the others I have seen, the fact they changed the turn signal, now to include basically all lights flashing, instead of just the indicator light, looks cool!
Very good review! Two points I wanted to bring up: 1.) Porsche PDLS LED lights are standard headlights across the Macan range (in Canada) the PDLS + is an option for automatic high beams. 2.) You can lock in your maintenance costs, similar structure and cost as Mercedes Benz, at around $1,400 for the first 3 years of ownership. Thanks again for the great review!
Cannot speak to the new engine but my Macan S is the most fun Porsche I have owned including different 911 generations. You hit the nail on the head with a fast well handling sports car with room for your gear and dog.
Another wonderfully produced and informative review. You guys are one of the best. TY and shoutout to the dealer for making the car available. I'm not ready to give up the dream (base 911 Carrera 4) , but if it doesn't happen...this might work!
Love the Macan...its my favorite Porsche. The style and performance is why you buy this car. The smaller size is great...especially for those of us w/o families to shuttle about. The GV70 I'm seeing a lot now...every color combo I have seen I like. I will be on the lookout for this Macan I imagine they will be one the streets in a few weeks. Thank you for your review...stay warm...some of your Canadian cold weather arrived this morning... I'd be happy to return it.
You are right, it's exactly why you buy this vehicle. The GV70 is another great one and offers a lot of value with the 2.5T, I am seeing plenty on the road as well. I prefer how the Macan handles and drives to the GV70 but the the Genesis is a wonderful option and less money if you are on a tighter budget.
A subscriber...so excited when I saw there was a new review out there...of a Macan, which I own. Since I am not a fan of EV, I have been considering a newer replacement for my '17 Macan GTS. Enjoyed your review, but it is a tough time for consumers, wanting a new vehicle, but you can't get one. Unless, you want a base Macan. Interesting about 80% of those buying a base Macan are new Porsche buyers. They certainly achieved their goal; getting new people to experience the Porsche brand. But for me, it would have to be an 'S' at a minimum. Even if you can one, it will not have some standard features because of the chip shortage. For example, on the Macan GTS, the steering wheel column no longer comes with a power adjustment. Can't remember what it was on a BMW X3 M40i, but it was a deal breaker for me. In addition, because of supply and demand dealers are able to charge over MSRP, which should prohibit any one from purchasing at this time. But, I still love watching your reviews. Thanks so much for honest reviews.
Thank you so much, really glad you are enjoying our reviews, we appreciate the kind words. It is a tough time right now for all manufacturers. I hear from followers who are purchasing an X5 and they can't get a touchscreen or a wireless charger. Not sure i see an end in sight right now either.
Love your reviews guys all the way from the U.K. I have to confess that although the Macan is a desirable vehicle with fantastic residual values, I would take the BMW X3 M40i all day and everyday. In the U.K. there is currently a 12 month wait for a new Macan and up to 9 months for the X3 M40i. I do think the X3 is more practical with a good standard equipment list unlike the more expensive Macan, and that BMW inline 6 cylinder with 380 horses is sublime.
Great review - those gloss black GT wheels look fantastic but are now only available on the GTS model as Porsche have had such huge demand and therefore limited stocks! The base Macan is underpowered for a Porsche. You can get the sport chrono pack which boosts the performance for 10secs but as Zack mentions it’s better to get the S if you can stretch to it…
porsche has a reputation as a performance-oriented brand so that's why people expect more from it than audi. as good at the turbo 4's are, i just can't wrap my head around such a high price for a 4 cylinder vehicle. i have a 6 cylinder boxster and the sound of that engine is like music.
I agree. There's no way this thing is worth 75k equipped with a 4 cylinder. It's not about the speed either. It just doesn't feel premium. Had the same problem with the GLC300 and the engine that sounded like they pulled it from a tractor.
It is a Q5 engine but Audi did a better job as that car is much quicker than the Macan and in the A4 it is very impressive with strong acceleration of about 5 seconds to 60.
The macaan is a nice SUV. The base engine gets great gas mileage and is reasonably fast to 75mph. Where it falls down - any spec - is the inability to run a square tire set up - preferably narrower, winter tires in snow. This is a glaring problem for anyone that wants to use it in snow
Hi. Andrea & Zac. Thank you for your excellent reviews..If cost was not the main consideration, would you consider the Porsche Macan or the Genesis GV 70.?
@@MrMustangrick No issues at all. I've started doing my own maintenance. Oil, spark plugs, brake fluid, air filter etc. Next time it needs brakes I'll do those too. If you do take it to a dealer, it will be relatively expensive, compared to non-Porsches.
I had a Macan S and loved it. But, it developed an oil leak that required the engine to be pulled out to fix. It was a simple bolt on the timing cover that failed. I would have bought another Porsche but after learning Porsche was aware of this problem for years and did nothing to fix the issue on subseuent years I decide Im done with their cars.
Another great video from both of you! I have a 2018 Macan…and love the buttons vs haptic feedback and piano black…but won’t complain when I trade my Macan in for another…and likely my last internal combustion purchase. Zack…you over the Bills loss? It will take awhile for me!
You have to sit in it and feel the materials, there are a lot of soft materials used throughout, I have been in other luxury brands where there is much more hard plastic. I think any sort of high gloss black can look cheap unfortunately which is why all the previous interior with all the buttons looked more expensive.
Great vid. I have a question. I have porsche 911 and now I'm thinking of getting a car with more seats. I'm thinking Macan S(2022), Cayenne coupe S, and Panamera Sport Turisumo. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!
@Motormouth sometimes to drive with family or a few buddies. Thinking Macan initially but if I go for more back seat should I just go for more space with Cayenne or Panamera ST? But if it's too big or long, would it be to bulky to drive and less agile and nimble for narrow streets in the city i live in?
OK you have a choice you will do Porsche or Genesis of course I’m talking about 70 SUV, if money was not an issue you were just picking one or the other which one. You guys are amazing just for the record
Yours are only car reviews I found helpful!! Would you recommend buying a Macan or leasing is better? Like people say it's better to lease a German car and get rid of it while still in warranty, what you recommend for Porsche? Thank you for the great work!
Thank you very much, we really appreciate the support. I am a big fan of leasing, if you like the vehicle at the end of the lease, buy it out and keep it. We are keeping our diesel Cayenne, no need to sell it and jump into another one when we have such low km on it. We don't worry about reliability with Porsche as long as you stay on top of the scheduled maintenance, we haven't had a problem. Our 911's were older models, so they required more maintenance but we knew that getting into an older model. No major issues, just maintenance.
The rumour is it is coming at the end of 2022 as a 2023 model but that hasn't been confirmed by Porsche. I saw some spy shots the other day but hard to see what it is going to look like as it heavily camouflaged.
I’ve watched this video maybe a few dozens times now in prep for my T this summer. With so many new car variants you guys have on deck and you already reviewing the Macan through the years and the Macan going EV now, is the likelihood of a Macan T review pretty much in the rear view mirror? (no pun intended) Thanks
You’ve had great success with the Cayennes. Would you say that Porsche reliability would extend to the 2022 Macan S? Just trying to determine if it should be a leased or a purchased vehicle. Thanks!
We shouldn’t have the “just get used to it” attitude towards things we don’t like about vehicles. You guys definitely need to speak the truth so the manufacturers hear what we don’t like. Specifically talking about the loss of real buttons. Manufacturers actually listen to you guys opinions. You reviewers are kind of like our voices.
We did say we miss the buttons, but this is the direction Porsche is going in and it's not a deal breaker for me. The way it handles and drives is why I buy a Porsche. The interior is still very beautiful. As well, we often say how we don't like a dial shifter, column shifter and button shifter, manufacturers do what they like and make choices good or bad.
@@andreaspencer9813 definitely. But I do think when enough folks complain they do reconsider. Like Honda’s volume knob lol. Great video regardless. Didn’t mean to come off snippy if I did.
Jay...Agreed! But the way to tell the manufacturer you don't like their product is to not buy it. Sadly our choices for vehicles in this class that still have buttons is shrinking.
@@Jay-bw3fl No worries at all, glad you enjoyed the review. Yes true, there were huge complaints about Honda and they certainly learned from that. A volume knob is really important and I am glad they brought it back. VW is dealing with the same issue with the GTI and Golf R.
I love my Macan S! The quality and driving dynamics are amazing. The downside is Porsche's a la carte options. The price speeds up just as much as the car.
Yes, he will, I am 5'7" and I fit in the back seat but it all depends where you have the driver's seat. He could always sit behind the passenger seat too.
Would you take the Macan T or the BMW X340i? The Macan T looks much more premium at $5,000 more and handling is as good as it gets. However it does only get the 4 cylinder from the GTI. The Macan T is suited well to the 4 cylinder if you are carving a back road and keeping the RPM as high as it goes in the manual mode. But, there is less drama than the B58, less everyday power, and the four cylinder isn't going to give as good fuel economy as the BMW B58 I6 twin-scroll turbo which is probably the best drivetrain of any daily use car.
thaks for great review. you can get wireless android auto and wired screen mirroring with aftermarket products for any macan. you dont even need change infortaiment system. i used one of them near a year and works perfect. take care.
Great review! Another vehicle that would fit in this niche would be the Infiniti QX55 but Nissan has to get rid of the CVT in it to be able to market it better.
a great looking vehicle and the price was to say the least a pleasant surprise to me at least..nicely done...and all vehicles tend to last...if maintained properly..just some are better engineered and quality to be sure...enjoy...🚗🙂
It's a great price point for an entry level Porsche. Of course you are going to add extra features etc and the price goes up but it's still pretty good for a Porsche.
I’m sure the driving dynamics are really good 👍. It’s a Porsche and they do driving dynamics well. I’m thinking that the Macan is the first one people flock to solely because of the price point. The rear cladding looks very much like the G70. I’d have to pass on this one. It’s basically a 2 seat tall car. If you can’t use the rear seat for actual people why not go for the Cayman or 911. It looks like the price of the Porsches are affordable when you look at base prices but once you add the steering wheel and doors they’re well beyond this those prices. Keep the reviews coming. I enjoy them.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the review. The back seat is fine, I fit back there no problem at all, different from a 911. Our boys who are over 6 feet can also sit back there but they wouldn't want to go on a long trip in it.
@@andreaspencer9813 I misunderstood. I thought the review said that the boys aren’t that comfortable there. I stopped in at a dealership and after looking in the window of the vehicle I turned around and walked away. That’s a significant amount of money to spend on a vehicle that’s only tolerable on short trips. I’m glad to hear that it’s fun though.
@@hugdeath929 I think when kids are used to a more spacious vehicle, they are the first to complain when they get into one with less space like the Macan. Our boys are very honest which is good. They don't love the second row and wouldn't enjoy it as our family vehicle but they fit.
By the time you add destination and taxes, you are closer to $70k than $60k. The number in BC is $67,340 for a base with all fees and taxes, not including the scammy doc fees most dealers try to rip you off with. Doubtful you can find a Porsche on a lot equipped with zero options, they almost all have some added cost options.
Not feeling that new front look. Love watching your reviews and look forward to videos like this. Are the tires "run flat"? Not a fan of them....Fun Fact from Porsche: The average Porsche buyer spends $25K on options and this is a minimum target that Porsche prefers from their customers.
Nice car but I cant think of anything that can beat the hybrid C-Class thats coming out with 109km electric range + ICE engine. That car kills the need for all-electric cars in the short term. Electric daily driver + gas engine for the rare long range trips between cities. A hybrid Macan will be the best option going forward. Especially since the electric Macan will likely cost in the 130-150k Canadian range.
What are the reliability ratings for the macan? I purchased a new X3 years ago and traded it at 48,000 miles because every month a new dash light came on. It even had a radiator leak under 20,000 miles.
Hi guys. Trying to make decision on what to buy. Got my wife the Genesis GV80 so I’m a smart man. But it’s time to get myself something. Have had the same old 2005 Chevy cobalt since college and it’s time for me to treat myself. I wanted a Bentley but I will wait on that a little. So right now I’m thinking Maserati. I love Maserati (the name) but don’t like the interior at all. I like the Macan but the interior does not wow me either. I’m a big interior person, which is why I got my wife the Genesis. What car do you think I should look at with great interior and a great exterior look. Or do you believe the Macan will be the best choice. Right now In thinking Maserati but I want to hear from you guys. Please help.
I always wished Porsche would make a smaller more affordable sedan than the Panamera. This would be the perfect car to me. The Macan is the closest thing to that, but I’ve never been much of an SUV guy. But I’ve been thinking of test driving a Macan, maybe I’d like it
Yesterday my wife and I were sitting in a COVID-19 testing drive through. Two vehicles ahead was a Macon S, we absolutely loved it such a great looking SUV. I got home and searched it up. We are empty nesters and thought what a great ride this would be for us. Low and behold wake this am and you have this review in my notifications..Yes,yes, yes what a coincidence. We were like two little kids watching Toy Story for the first time. Then you showed the centre stack with no physical buttons. Can’t tell you what came out of my mouth at that point,so disappointed but think we could get over that with yes Andrea a micro cloth in the glove box,the finger prints would drive me absolutely nuts. Great review guys really really enjoyed this one the timing was spot on. 👏👏👏
Wow, that is crazy and yes, a coincidence. So glad you enjoyed the review and thanks for the support. I am going to need a cloth as well, but I love the vehicle so much, it is not going to be a deal-breaker for me.
It's a good thing they going for electric in Macan, hopefully more daily cars will have that. So they can continue to build 911s with petrol engines without braking the enviroment laws in Europe.
The GV70 offers incredible value and the X3 is another great handling SUV. Porsche's are expensive and regular scheduled maintenance is not inexpensive so you have to factor all that into your budget.
depends on where you are, in canada they are about a few thousands dollars apart and Macan resells much better in 3 to 5 years so its a no brainer for me.
so crazy, i just told my wife i would like to buy a porsche for the first time, she told me to do it but she wanted to pick the model, she didn't know the name but when i showed her, she pointed the macan lol
Thanks for the great review. I think the future of electrification might bring more affordable prices as battery production become more affordable. I think it might be similar to that time when flat screen tvs were so expensive and now there so affordable

porsche has a reputation as a performance-oriented brand so that's why people expect more from it than audi. as good at the turbo 4's are, i just can't wrap my head around such a high price for a 4 cylinder vehicle. i have a 6 cylinder boxster and the sound of that engine is like music.
V6's are wonderful but this 4-cylinder is impressive!
Great review!! I ordered my 2022 Macan in December and after watching this review I am even more excited for the delivery.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the review and congratulations on your new Macan!
Congratulation with your New macan, I going for mines too
Any issues after 2 years?
@@MrMustangrick No, none at all. Thanks for asking.
The macaan is a nice SUV. The base engine gets great gas mileage and is reasonably fast to 75mph. Where it falls down - any spec - is the inability to run a square tire set up - preferably narrower, winter tires in snow. This is a glaring problem for anyone that wants to use it in snow
Shes incredible . That dude has won the Wife Lottery !!
Thank you! 😊
I love you guys! So smooth…thank you for your work.
Thank you for the support!
Hi. Andrea & Zac. Thank you for your excellent reviews..If cost was not the main consideration, would you consider the Porsche Macan or the Genesis GV 70.?
Porsche
Thank you for mentioning the maintenance. A lot of reviewers don’t mention that. Thank you!👍✅
You are welcome, thanks for watching!
I definitely feel the 2018 cpo base Macan we bought this fall is a Porsche gateway drug! Nice review.
Any issues? How is the maintenance?
@@MrMustangrick No issues at all. I've started doing my own maintenance. Oil, spark plugs, brake fluid, air filter etc. Next time it needs brakes I'll do those too.
If you do take it to a dealer, it will be relatively expensive, compared to non-Porsches.
Awesome review as always! Can’t wait to get delivery of my GTS in March!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the review. I'm so excited for you, what a wonderful vehicle and the GTS model is so special.
Have fun!
I know it’s a car post but we should do a what’s Andrea wearing segment
She always looks fabulous
I had a Macan S and loved it. But, it developed an oil leak that required the engine to be pulled out to fix. It was a simple bolt on the timing cover that failed. I would have bought another Porsche but after learning Porsche was aware of this problem for years and did nothing to fix the issue on subseuent years I decide Im done with their cars.
How old/ how many miles when this happened? I have read that the new models don't have this issue and they don't need to pull the engine. True?
You guys are amazing . Just love the reviews .
Wow, thank you very much!
Your thoughts: Macan S with Air Suspension or X3 M40i fully loaded? We have not been able to drive either one!
So, what’s your personal opinion: Would you go for 14way comfort seats or the 18way sport seats?
The ones you can afford, sport are great
They also need to include more safety features like Rear cross traffic alert and more, similar to what the Q5 has.
Another great video from both of you! I have a 2018 Macan…and love the buttons vs haptic feedback and piano black…but won’t complain when I trade my Macan in for another…and likely my last internal combustion purchase. Zack…you over the Bills loss? It will take awhile for me!
Damn coin toss!
Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it! That was a hard loss to watch!
same here but not going to trade in i am going to keep it as they go up a lot in resell.
I knew nothing of the Macan other than to know of it's existence, interesting watch.
Great, glad you know all about it now. Thanks for watching!
It’s amazing how with each update , the interior is looking cheaper?
You have to sit in it and feel the materials, there are a lot of soft materials used throughout, I have been in other luxury brands where there is much more hard plastic. I think any sort of high gloss black can look cheap unfortunately which is why all the previous interior with all the buttons looked more expensive.
Great vid. I have a question. I have porsche 911 and now I'm thinking of getting a car with more seats. I'm thinking Macan S(2022), Cayenne coupe S, and Panamera Sport Turisumo. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!
Depends on how often you use the seats and what for?
@Motormouth sometimes to drive with family or a few buddies. Thinking Macan initially but if I go for more back seat should I just go for more space with Cayenne or Panamera ST? But if it's too big or long, would it be to bulky to drive and less agile and nimble for narrow streets in the city i live in?
@@kevinhan721 you're going to have to go and look for yourself to see what works.
Fantastic review as always by a wonderful couple, very informative 👍 car 🚗 manufacturers owe you * keep it up
Thank you very much!
Ha! you guys are too cute! but seriously thanks for the transperency on the porsche and its maintanence
Thanks for watching and the kind words!
OK you have a choice you will do Porsche or Genesis of course I’m talking about 70 SUV, if money was not an issue you were just picking one or the other which one. You guys are amazing just for the record
Thank you so much, we appreciate the kind words. If money was no option, I would buy the Macan GTS.
Yours are only car reviews I found helpful!! Would you recommend buying a Macan or leasing is better? Like people say it's better to lease a German car and get rid of it while still in warranty, what you recommend for Porsche? Thank you for the great work!
A lease is a great way to test drive the car, you can always buy it out at the end of the lease if you like the car.
@@Motormouth... Thank you so much for taking time to answer, really appreciate it!
@@andreaspencer9813 Thank you so much for the information and wisdom! GOD BLESS!!
@@mangladeepak My pleasure!
Any update when they will have electric Macan?
The rumour is it is coming at the end of 2022 as a 2023 model but that hasn't been confirmed by Porsche. I saw some spy shots the other day but hard to see what it is going to look like as it heavily camouflaged.
@@andreaspencer9813 new taycan coupe looks awesome
@@saekim1904 Gorgeous!
That front is is a face only a mother can love
Also what’s with the analog gauges? For this price I expect all digital
Gggeeesh Guys, You made me want it badly! 😆 Great car and it’s looks more sporty than other brands you mention it. Great video Andrea! 👏🏻👏🏻☕️☕️
Yes, I can see why, fabulous vehicle! So glad you enjoyed the review.
@@andreaspencer9813 👍🏻👍🏻
I love my Macan S! The quality and driving dynamics are amazing. The downside is Porsche's a la carte options. The price speeds up just as much as the car.
Would you go with Macan S or BMW X3 40i?
Our Miami Blue 2022 Macan is currently at the dealer and we can't collect it until it gets a software update related to emissions.
Does this have forward collision warning or emergency braking ?
I wonder if my father who is 5'6 tall will fit okay back there?
Yes, he will, I am 5'7" and I fit in the back seat but it all depends where you have the driver's seat. He could always sit behind the passenger seat too.
Would you take the Macan T or the BMW X340i? The Macan T looks much more premium at $5,000 more and handling is as good as it gets. However it does only get the 4 cylinder from the GTI. The Macan T is suited well to the 4 cylinder if you are carving a back road and keeping the RPM as high as it goes in the manual mode. But, there is less drama than the B58, less everyday power, and the four cylinder isn't going to give as good fuel economy as the BMW B58 I6 twin-scroll turbo which is probably the best drivetrain of any daily use car.
thaks for great review. you can get wireless android auto and wired screen mirroring with aftermarket products for any macan. you dont even need change infortaiment system. i used one of them near a year and works perfect. take care.
Hi, I just got my 2022 Macan, could you tell me which device you are using? Thanks
Great review! Another vehicle that would fit in this niche would be the Infiniti QX55 but Nissan has to get rid of the CVT in it to be able to market it better.
Absolutely couldn't agree more, thanks for watching!
a great looking vehicle and the price was to say the least a pleasant surprise to me at least..nicely done...and all vehicles tend to last...if maintained properly..just some are better engineered and quality to be sure...enjoy...🚗🙂
It's a great price point for an entry level Porsche. Of course you are going to add extra features etc and the price goes up but it's still pretty good for a Porsche.
Great review, gorgeous car! And I wanna buy this car later, just purchased an accord 2L turbo, 10 speed automatic, 252 hp!
Thank you so much! Congratulations on your new Accord.
The Macan has me coming back than I expected. I may check it out in person.
I would much prefer to have a car over a SUV but the Macan is just so tempting.
Hey guys, when you compare this to a Genesis GV70, what are your thoughts? What would you go with?
I hope you can do a video with the new 2022 Macan S. I am currently thinking of buying X3 M40i/GLC43/MacanS
I like your way of doing reviews, with so many details 👍❤😊
Glad you like them!
Thank you so much!
This has my name written all over it. Hope to get one soon! Great review!
Does it have auto start/stop? I’m not spending that $ to have it turn off at a red light. Thank you ! 😊
You can switch it off or drive in Sport mode, which removes it all together.
Great video!
Thank you so much!
Looks amazing. I have a 2020 Alpha Stelvio and love it so far. Just wish they had a better foot print in North America.
Love the Alfa
Thank you, so glad you are enjoying the reviews. The Macan does not have run-flat tires. I like your Fun Fact!!!
Yes, I think Porsche will need to have something available with a less expensive starting price instead of a full EV price point.
What are the reliability ratings for the macan? I purchased a new X3 years ago and traded it at 48,000 miles because every month a new dash light came on. It even had a radiator leak under 20,000 miles.
I suggest you watch the whole video, it is discussed...
Was the radiator leak covered under warranty? That's unacceptable with 20k miles unless you're off roading and taking moguls!
If you are someone like me who knows how to work on their cars, doing all the maintenance yourself can save you a lot of money
Check out Mercedes interiors, they have a wow factor.
I always wished Porsche would make a smaller more affordable sedan than the Panamera. This would be the perfect car to me. The Macan is the closest thing to that, but I’ve never been much of an SUV guy. But I’ve been thinking of test driving a Macan, maybe I’d like it
We are big fans. Thank you for the incredible content.
Thank you so much, really glad you are enjoying it! - Andrea
As we said in the video, Don't let the centre console to track from the overall car, it's not that hard to adjust, however it isn't ideal
@@Motormouth... That definitely would not be a deal breaker.
Wow, that is crazy and yes, a coincidence. So glad you enjoyed the review and thanks for the support. I am going to need a cloth as well, but I love the vehicle so much, it is not going to be a deal-breaker for me.
That matte trim is nice.
It's a good thing they going for electric in Macan, hopefully more daily cars will have that. So they can continue to build 911s with petrol engines without braking the enviroment laws in Europe.
Good point!
This sure would be a fun car to drive around.

Never thought I’d hear “ simple looking center console “ when talking about a Porsche interior lol
True! Very clean and modern.
I really love the Macan, but it’s a tough call against X3 and GV70 when price enters the picture.
I actually think battery prices will go up as more manufacturers are competing for rare earth materials. Supply and demand.
We'll see, I think we are a ways off from that in my opinion. Although I hear the EV's coming from China will be priced less, so we'll see....
Any of them would do even the base model. Really good looking in and out. The Macan is a bit pricey but those looks.
top notch review!
Base model Macan + Golf R , even that front grill looks very familiar. I guess one big happy family
I love my Macan S and will be right there when they make an electric one
Great car with fantastic quality
