I prefer the sound of the SW downpipe with stock exhaust.
Yep, that'll get you the most power for the money. I think the stock catback is big enough and plenty loud enough, if I had one I might add resonators or Bullet mufflers to quiet it down some after the catless downpipe makes it louder.
Wonder if it's the offroad or catted version?

I have the 2017 Raptor and I love it and the sound. Admittedly I am looking for an exhaust to make it sound better. But it will never sound like V8. People complaining about the sound are the same ones that will buy a Harley for the sound even though it is a technologically inferior motorcycle. And yes, I have a Harley too. Just so I don't get people hating on me about the Harley comment.
Its really just dipshits with garbage mid 2000's trucks that hate on the EcoBeast, because their drinking buddy said he knew a guys brother that bought it and it blew up right away!

Did you guys ever do before & after tuning with dyno numbers? Curious what kind sort of power gains simple mods like that result in, I'm seriously considering getting a 2019 Raptor.
none , always none ... exhaust doesn't give you "power gains" at least not that you'll notice

to get any sound out of a 6 cyl turbo..well..thats a pretty neat trick..as good as it gets..never gonna sound like the 6.2's

GV trying to prove proof of concept..the "same" motor is on the gt as well. I don't get it, but they'll still sell. me personally I can't wrap my head around 80k for a truck that sounds like a Honda and the enhanced sound they pump into the cab is another story.
Because it is far superior in the performance category. Much faster, better torque (quicker) and much better gas mileage. Kind of a no brainer if you're an engineer designing the thing.
Which set up give you more gains between stock CB with SW DP and stock DP and SW cat back?

Ah, now this is MUCH better. The GT 3.5 sounds so good. All these other kits make the Raptor sound like a soccer mom's SUV. Now the Raptor sounds like the GT.
Do the race/off-road down pipes throw a emission check engine code?
Because of the flow increase over the O2 sensor, they will most likely need to be tuned, sometimes on rare occasions they surprise us and don't throw a code though.
The headers set up has the truck sounding like a beefed up infiniti g37.
Power numbers on these?

The rev limit is too low, I bet if this engine revved a couple grand higher it would sound awesome.

Curious to know if the interior sounds was made with the "fake" sound disabled or not.
We compared it to the stock settings, so no mods were done with disabling.

Quiet but fast. There are people like me who prefer subtle (as subtle as you could be in a raptor)... the sound doesn't mean shit to me, it's about how it performs. 'Muh v8 rumble tho' is quite frankly sad, and dated. Makes me laugh how people say "put a whipple supercharger on the old 6.2 and it'll beat this new one".... how much is a whipple? Fact is, from factory, the 3.5 shits all over the 6.2 and old timers just can't handle that fact.
I feel bad for exhaust manufacturers. Who wants to hear an ecoboost?

This is the most pointless comment. Anyways most people always switch the factory exhaust to an aftermarket. Even with the 1st gen Raptors 80% of the time the first upgrade was an exhaust. People with high end super cars, exotics change the cars exhaust even though most of them sound amazing from factory people will switch them out to their liking.

Who the hell trades performance for sound. Everyone complaining about the sound get used to hearing it when it's always in front of you and is stopping at gas stations half as much. Honestly most truck guys here in NC straight pipe there v8 trucks and it sounds like absolute garbage when they fly by you at 30mph full throttle blowing your ear drums out and getting 3mog lol this sounds miles better good on Ford being smart abiut there preferred power platforms.

I currently have a stock 450hp 18 raptor with the cheesy tt v6 & it gets 1 mpg less than the 750hp supercharged 16 supercrew cab fx4 f150 I traded in for it & that truck had a borla atak dual rear exit exhaust that sounded heavenly whereas my raptor sounds like crap.
So it's fairly safe to say that you have no idea what you're talking about.

God why do Ford's direct injected v6 engines sound so bad. Listen to a Nissan vq 35 or vq37 and then listen to this all the melody is gone in favor of a raspy sound
