Wow for your first pcc you went straight to the top. You robbed yourself of knowing what a bad creepy stacking trigger feels like or what a clunky blow back action feels like lol. Just remember this is built to go fast, keep the bolt and gas piston clean. You've got a great competition gun for sure.
Good video, maybe a it long winded but overall, good. I would like a follow up video! I purchased my first PCC, a Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm, I really like it so far I will be mounting a Sig Romeo 5xdr, Predator version. In a couple of weeks.. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Yeah I started to ramble a bit. I think the follow up will be just the MPX and more shooting and less talking :) Also let me know how you like the Storm with the Romeo once you get it setup.
I own both of these and agree with your assessment. The MPX is a blast on the range and worth every penny. The FPC is also a great shooter but the controls are wonky. Both are worth the purchase and perform their roles well. Good video.
I got the Law Enforcement version it came with flip up iron sights, Sig’s A2 birdcage & Mil-Spec trigger. I had my gunsmith install a Giselle SSA-E trigger with very much cursing 🤬. I have yet to shoot it as I have to get gun permits from the Demonrats that run my State of Hawai’i. Our public range just opened back up recently.
Great video. Really like your Ford vs. Ferrari analogy. How does the MPX handle hollowpoints? Looks like Maglula makes a loader/unloader for the MPX magazine if you are interested.
Thanks for the info. I'm am going to check out the loader you mentioned. As for hollow points I've only shot a few out of this gun so I don't have enough data to give you solid info. I have put over 800 rounds of 115 grain fmj and it hasn't had any stoppages. I'm keeping this gun much cleaner than my other pcc guns so that might have something to do with the reliability but so far so good.
@@AdamH-n3l I have been doing a quick cleaning of the bolt after every time I use it. I've shot a few matches with it and before the match I take out the piston system and clean it too just to be sure. So overall about every 500 or so rounds.
Great video. I purchased my MPX head first. You made me feel better about my purchase. Excited to learn as this is my first rifle. Thank you

Maglula (the speed loader) makes one for the MPX
What power magnifier is on the MPX? Also how far have you shot out too? Thank you for making the video, it was great.
The magnifier is 3x. I've only shot out to 100 yards with the mpx so far. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video.

@@southeastwhitetails Will do.. 👍👍
I like the storm.
Thank you, great run down!
Glad you enjoyed!

Great video. I have a quick question: Where are you getting your ammo from?
I got the case these boxes are out of from Top Gun Supply. To be honest I get it from wherever it is the cheapest at the time.
Is the barrel swapable like the mpx k?

@@southeastwhitetails how often does it need to be cleaned maintain reliability ?

Which bag do you have? How long is it?
The bag is the 5.11 range ready 43L.
How has the reliability been for you on this rifle ?
It has been good. I clean it about every 500 rounds.
