God rest Barry. Biggest omission is the Extar EP9. The absolute value king. 449.00 with brace and comp. Glock mags, side charger, ideal for running suppressors. Last round bolt hold open. And the best blowback recoil damper ever in 9mm carbine. At 4 pounds.
The CMMG is the best if money is no object. But I would rather have 3 EP9,s.

Being the owner of a very inexpensive 9MM PCC, I’m not sure of any 9MM PCCs POU. (Philosophy of Use)
I love my Hi-Point 995TS and with OEM approved 20 round RedBall Sports Magazines, it’s a very dependable, accurate, fun PCC.
It eats everything without any problems. But that wasn’t my only 9MM PCC.
In 2018 I bought a KelTec Sub2000 (Glock mags only) and it was a true “Jam-O-Magic”.
I sent it back under warranty, and it returned 3 months later only slightly better. Only half the time it would it run an OEM 17 round Glock magazine without jamming.
I sold it for what I paid, and yes I did disclose its issues.
As the owner of 3 Ruger firearms, I gave the Ruger PC-9 a try with a good friends rifle, but it felt cheap and the receiver with magazines installed fit very loosely with significant play. It was accurate, reliable and fun to shoot, but wasn’t any better than my Hi-Point other than it is a take down rifle.
The Chiappa sure sounds interesting, (I have one of their SAA) but it has many bad reviews, and I have yet to shoot one.
As for the more expensive PCC’s, I just don’t have any desire to spend $800+ on a firearm without a defined POU.
I’ll stick with my 9MM pistols as sidearms, my AR-15s as battle rifles, and my .308 hunting rifles for long distance.
For my hiking trips into the wilderness, I bring my Rossi R92 Lever Action rifle and a GP100 along with a Browning Buckmark and plenty of .357MAG and 22LR.
It may not be 9MM, but the Rossi R92 with 10 rounds of .357MAG is the perfect old-fashion PCC, and a perfect companion to the GP100.

Excellent video. I built a Colt AR variant with our beloved Anderson receivers, Hann Block, CMMG ramped bolt and Faxon Barrels. Uppers I run are Anderson non forward assist receivers with a 16" Faxon barrel upper, a 10.5" Faxon Barrel upper, and im building a 4.5" Faxon Barrel upper with a 3 lug mount. The lighter you go the more you feel the moving mass so I will be switching to a Maxim Gen7 CQB / JP captured spring and removing the lead from the CMMG ramped bolt. I found this vid doing research for the latest upgrades (Maxim CQB, JP spring, and finding 10" rail that will fit over my 4.5" barrel paired with a Rugged Obsidian 9 on the 3 lug) Ive narrowed it down to two rails, Faxon's CF 10" or the Griffin SR-Rigid 10.5. Thanks for all the great info.

One thing about the JR Carbine is that if you get an older one the takedown is incredibly inconvenient. You need a castle nut wrench and other tools. They also stress only using graphite lube in their literature. They do shoot great and are a lot of fun and won't break the bank. I just couldn't get my hands on a newer one with the takedown lever. Traded mine in for an APF-9.

I went with the Colt style because when I purchased it several years ago, the Glock style didn't have the last round hold open. The magazines are a little more expensive, but really not bad. I only have around 200 rounds through it, but so far it's been flawless and shoots roughly 3" groups at 100 yard with a red dot. It has an AR Stoner upper and a Rosco 7.5 inch Bloodline barrel. I’m actually not a fan of the CZ scorpion. And I LOVE CZ pistols. Wife and I have a few and we adore them. The 75 platform Is amazing. Just the scrip iron for the price doesn’t tickle our fancy

Love my Masterpiece Arms Mini 9mm and my Kriss Vector.45acp. I used the MP5N for many years as a Recon Marine we only wished we could get it in .45acp or 10mm auto, then we switched to short CAR 15s which is what we at 3rd Recon started with back in 86, but everyone else was using MP5s. So they made us switch, then off course once Delta decided to go CAR 15 , we could go back.

One of the guns I lost in that tragic boating accident was a Sub2K that took Beretta mags. The big advantage I recommend it for is that I put it in the car when traveling to/thru states with draconian gun laws. It has a full length barrel so it is legally a rifle, it has no scary features such as a magazine well separate from the grip or a bayonet lug and when paired with a couple of 10rd mags, it also stays below the stupid capacity rules. The fact that it folds in half means it fits in any suitcase so you don’t attract attention in a hotel lobby or parking lot. An added bonus is that if it ever seized by an overzealous cop, you’re only out four hundred bucks.
Note: a 9mm out of a 16” barrel has the muzzle energy of a .357mag.
Would I recommend it to somebody that doesn’t also own a pistol that shares a common mag? No, it isn’t a great rifle and there are much better ones on the market, but for the purpose I mentioned above it is a great traveling rifle.

Literally threw a vortex red dot, and an old APLC light on it and I love it. Probably 800 rounds through it so far and only 2 malfunctions with one of their cheap mags. Any of the rest work. 👍

I'm wanting to get a PCC for home defense because I live in an apartment with ppl on two sides of me and above, and I just think the penetration of 9mm is preferable to a rifle caliber in my situation. I have a P229 in my nightstand now but a rifle/carbine is so much easier to shoot and be accurate with. I'm thinking about an Evo Scorpion so far.

Dave Zito Me too! I bought one this year and I love it! 9” barrel and in tungsten gray. I put an eotech on it and hit targets dead on without zeroing it in! Sure fire light with 750 lumens. Plus bought additional mags.
I did not buy the “double tap” type trigger for it. It’s made for home defense. To protect my family and to have fun with. My wife loves it because it doesn’t kick and it uses the same mags her glock 19 can use as well.
      We simply love it.
Only ran a couple hundred rounds through it. Waiting for stores to get more 9 mm but I haven’t seen any for sale in the last month. What’s new , right

It’s a tac driver at 7 yards. Def my favorite pcc I’ve owned or shot. I think Eric and Chad would worship the Brigade at the price point.

This video is 3 years old, which isn't that long ago. You wouldn't think that prices have fluctuated all too much in just 3 years, however those 3 years represent a jump in inflation that pretty much supercedes the prior decade. So prices have certainly fluctuated since this video and the price they've mentioned.
