It was 1989 when I was first inducted into the strange world of sixties garage punk. I can’t imagine what inspired this sonic curiosity, it still sounds so original
early punk matched with archive video of schizophrenic patients in an asylum!the greatest punk song of all time.shocking and disturbing.this is youtubes finest hour!
Read deep into the R&R history. The term Punk was coined circa 1971 to describe mid- Sixties bands like this. What is now called Garage. But originally among the early collectors and writers it was called Punk. @@mattismeller378

Does anyone know anything about these guys? I know it was a studio band called Nite Caps and that they didn't perform live or anything, but did they release anything more besides these "I'm A Living Sickness" and "Flight Reaction"? It bugs me, cause these two songs are just amazing.

I think that the video has footage from a documentary from Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, some of the clips are featured on a Ghost Adventures episode.
Did they ever stop to ponder that perhaps those that they had committed to such an institution were truly sane, and that those providing the "treatment" were the ones in need of a recalibration? #upsidedown

Thanks for posting this. I think the third lines starts "And I'm sick of the well people..."
@Too many munsters Apparently, no one gives a shit.
Blake welling - I think lyric is “so move them if you want” - makes more sense than “so groove them if you want” surely?
Anthony Pioppi & Blake Welling - indeed the lyric is infact “sick of well people so move them if you want” which matches the video exactly.
Absolutely love this track. Had this on a comp and took forever to find the record.
This song is so mesmerising it takes you to the very depths of your mind and soul totally awesome
Yet another cool find in my ever continuing journey into discoveries from the recent past....

Blacflag - SUPERB VIDEO to a SUPERB TRACK - I remember the Calico Wall doing this track the FIRST time round !!! - nice one !!!

How very relevant of a tune during a global pandemic. I still can enjoy this tune without the notion. Be safe everyone. Stay creative.
Love this song...relatable in so many ways
This '60s Garage stuff is amazing, isn't it? It puts those musicians(who think they are musicians) of the last 30 years to shame.
This is quite possibly the most ridiculous comment I've read on TH-cam.
monkeeman may have been talking about the magic@@terrra_2024

I think I’ve listened to this on a never ending loop for an hour now. Should I stop? Naw.
Gorgeous video work, thank you. I had no idea this wasn't a song from the Fuzztones. It sounds very nice as it is.
I read that they pressed 1000 copies of their "Beep/Flight Reaction" 7", and shipped it out, and 875 were returned. What a pity, they should have given it to me instead.
This reminds me that a former coworker who now works in a very large hospital was describing the horrors of the mental wards today...
This is deep haunting stuff.
one of my favorites. BRILLIANT video!!
HOLY SHIT ITS R STEVIE MOORE

+Vintage-Audio-Workshop Actually the tremolo was made afterwards, in the mixing.
Dear lord I love this mid 60s

great song and as always an interesting video.
This is one of the scariest songs ever recorded and a very spooky video
That sweet Bryan Gregory "destroy all monsters" tone!

I randomly discovered this and found out where Dirty Art Club's "Hexes" is sampled
Très bon montage pour ce morceau culte !
Great video for this amazing song (The CW were 20 years ahead from their time !!!!)
Oh gosh I've been looking for this everywhere

The Fuzztones: Song the lord taught us.

try it at "klang und kleid" Records -and other stuff. They have many obscure 7" garage singles (releases) from the sixties.

The flip-side of the original pressing of Flight Reaction is "Beep".. Six minutes of a 1k BEEP over and over.
This original is excellent, but another really good version was by The Fuzztones, on their lp 'Lysergic Emanations',,,;)
Excellent video!
Finally a LIFE TRACK of me.
