Thanks I appreciate your kind words Rafael Medina. Not hard. You just need to pay attention in class ask questions and do your homework. Also, you will have at least 11-12 other people in your class so some people make small study groups. Also, remember you only have to get a 70 to pass and they give you more than 1 chance to pass the test.
@@Smk007 No you will have time to go to the gym but if I remember correctly not the first 30days of phase 1. They want you and your class to work together and follow the rules of the school. After that they give you what they call your privileges. Things like using the elevator and not the stairs, going to the gym…..etc
Hello, Shawnmeyer9425 The answer is it depends. I’ve worked with men and women on the ship that were in their sixties. The oldest guy I’ve worked with was 80 years old. If you’re in decent physical shape and can handle standing/ walking for long periods at a time and going up and down a lot of stairs then a older person should be fine. Thanks, for watching. Hello, cancerieangang4305 No swim test. However you will have to go take lifeboat and water survival class where you will have to dive into 9ft section of the pool with a life jacket on as well as some other activities with the life jacket on. If you can’t swim you will have to show them that you can at least float without a life jacket. For the people like me who can’t swim they will help you to make sure you pass the water survival class. For more helpful tips and information. You're more than welcome Andrew Pecheux. Congrats on being accepted into the program. I would maybe recommend buying some good insoles. The ones I use are from a company called spenco. If you go to Dick's sporting goods you should see them. There about $20 a pair. I would buy the insoles first then when you go to buy your steel toe boots put the insoles in to make sure they'll fit. You'll be on your feet a lot when you go to work in the kitchen. Also, I would recommend buying at least a 64gb maybe even 1trb usb. Before you finish phase 1 you may meet some people that have already finished the program or maybe a head of you in the program so they may have study material or even a copy of the sea project that you have to complete in phase 2.

Thanks for the reply I will be going into phase 1 in September! Is there math involved or just ship stuff and getting to know how it works ?
