Optimus Prime is wise enough to find out about Sam's great-great-grandfather's glasses -- a key that holds the fate of the universe's survival -- by searching it on E-Bay. Let that sink in.
@@aakashsancheti9614 The glasses is an heirloom to the Witwicky family, which it was at the hands of Sam who later sold it to E-Bay just to buy Bumblebee. The Arctic incident happens a long time ago. (I thought Sam's great-great-grandpa died from Megatron's blast, but he turned out to be alive and just blinded from said blast, and that blindness leads him to the asylum.)
From what I remember, the reason the CGI holds up so well was because the animators at ILM created an entirely new engine just to simulate how light reflected off of metal. (Well that and all the legitimate practical effects)
8:06 I always love this sequence because the Autobots acting like a bunch of dumb goofy kids making a mess and Optimus scolding them like a father is something i would totally see in the G1 cartoon. also optimus saying "oops sorry my bad" is one of the most adorable things he's ever said
Did anyone else notice that Prime's voice in this movie sounds different? Like the voice filter they use made him sound ethereal, like he was speaking to us from another dimension, it really fit his character in this movie and this movie only before he became Optimus Crime
I think Steven Spielberg may have kept Michael Bay in check, the raunchy and crass humor was somewhat toned down, and it felt like there was some genuine heart put into the story. It's mainly with Bumblebee and Sam's relationship, it reminded me of E.T. and Elliott's interaction from the film E.T. (1982). I also believe Spielberg could have been the one behind the Arrival to Earth sequence, because that feels like something you'd see in his films. I think once Spielberg departed, there was no one to keep Bay on a tight leash, so he was given free range to do whatever he was pleased with doing.
Transformers 07 will forever be a iconic 2000s Cinematic classic alongside The Sam Rami's Spider-Man trilogy,The og Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy,Superbad,Nacho Libre, Napoleon Dynamite,Pineapple Express,Tropic Thunder, and so many iconic films that came out during the best decade for Hollywood

I think that’s the charm and the appeal of transformers 2007 it that from 2007 it’s a time capsule of the mid 2000s to the point where they literally reference radio shack in the dialogue

Let's be Honest the First TF 2007 Movie was a Masterpiece even though it has it's own Flaws As a transformers fan who grown up with these films Michael bay giving us an awesome childhood!
Did anyone else ever notice how Peter’s performance for optimus was different in the first movie compared to the rest of the live-action franchise. It’s a lot deeper and more “echoey”. once revenge of the fallen came around, it just sounded more like Peter’s usual performance of the big guy.
It's weird with the Decepticons because in ancillary media, they're all well-characterized. Blackout is loyal to Megatron and suspicious of Starscream, Brawl is a psychotic man child, Bonecrusher literally hates everything, Barricade is an aggressive bad cop, and Starscream is... well, Starscream. The film just makes them look like generic monster bad guys in terms of character, something I don't think any of the films improved on as they continued.
Before time began The six ninjitsu masters lived in the realm of Mata Nui, in a galaxy far far away. Everything was peaceful until the Fire Nation attacked. Then, Sauron forged the one ring to rule them all, and tore open a portal in time to the future, where my evil is law. But at a secret ninja academy, three young students will become the Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Thank god im a fan of bayformers, so my childhood and love for transformers didnt get ruined. The only one i really cant shut my brain off and enjoy is 5.

The teaser trailer and Nick Choice award for upcoming 2007 movies, live rent free in my head. Oh and also WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT IIIIIIVEEEEEEEE DOOOOOOOOOONE
I'm still unsure whether Optimus Prime's truck mode looking incredibly close to his G2 Laser Optimus Prime design was intentional or a complete coincidence caused by modern American truck design and Michael Bay making decisions based purely on what he thought looked cool at that moment. It's like how I can't tell whether Optimus Prime combining with Jetfire in the second movie was a deliberate Armada reference or just Michael Bay really wanting to give Optimus a jetpack.

2007 Transformers also introduced Barricade, who I think may be my favorite character in the entire film series
When he said 5 years old in 2007, I was like. Is this dude my age?
7:23 tf you mean “tHy GuY sAm BuYs HiS cAr FrOm” that fucking Bernie Mac
17 years later and i still feel bad for that car dealer dude
Did anyone else ever notice how Peter’s performance for optimus was different in the first movie compared to the rest of the live-action franchise. It’s a lot deeper and more “echoey”. once revenge of the fallen came around, it just sounded more like Peter’s usual performance of the big guy.
That’s was a memorable theater experience. Seeing them come to life felt like the next step in entertainment. It was breathtaking.
"Or even when bumblebee pisses on Simon's with his bumble benis" 7:16
Your first ad read for war Thunder the joke about it giving grandpa flashbacks because the game so realistic sold me on the game😂
There's nothing like yelling at your TV telling Jazz to "stop being a car commercial and go help Bumblebee."
Transformers '07 is peak.
6:38 When Optimus Prime gets caught doing the deed with Elita One by Sentinel Prime.
Optimus’s face looks like he’s constantly worried about two things in the opposite direction
Before time began
The six ninjitsu masters lived in the realm of Mata Nui, in a galaxy far far away.
I'm not gonna lie, the concept art based off the G1 designs for the live-action movies, were pretty cool. Starscream looks like a freaking Macross jet.
7:18 best joke in the video 😂
6:15 "the fact that Glenn isn't in any of the other movies is why they all suck" *Yes! Finally someone that understands me!*
Protoforms was a beast wars thing. Not the movies.
Yo that’s me

The teaser trailer and Nick Choice award for upcoming 2007 movies, live rent free in my head.
Oh and also WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT IIIIIIVEEEEEEEE DOOOOOOOOOONE
1:30 where did you get that bayverse megatron?
I'm still unsure whether Optimus Prime's truck mode looking incredibly close to his G2 Laser Optimus Prime design was intentional or a complete coincidence caused by modern American truck design and Michael Bay making decisions based purely on what he thought looked cool at that moment. It's like how I can't tell whether Optimus Prime combining with Jetfire in the second movie was a deliberate Armada reference or just Michael Bay really wanting to give Optimus a jetpack.
Absolutely Cinema 14:08 5:48 6:34 7:10 9:12 10:59

I’ll be honest, I’ve been rewatching these movies on Netflix in order (I’m up to the first marky mark one) and I thoroughly enjoy them.

6:42 actually Sam’s grandpa went insane but told a agent about his findings who would actually began the creation of sector 7 from the evidence left behind by Sam’s grandpa who would die in asylum.
