Bad News Brown is pound for pound one of the toughest pro wrestlers of all time. Bad News won a bronze medal for Judo in the 1976 Olympics before later emerging as a professional wrestler. Before competing for Vince McMahon in WWF, Bad News Brown (aka Bad News Allen, Allen Coage) had a sting wrestling in the Florida territory where Dusty Rhodes was booking.
While in Florida, Bad News had several matches vs Kevin Sullivan (who also acted as bookd), Lex Luger & Ray Candy.

Bad News was a little on the windy side.....well actually he could blow up an onion sack, but he was legit tough according to many of the guys in the business, and likeable. R.I.P. Allen

It's too bad that his real personality was not shown much, at least not on WWF TV - he just came across as some pissed off NWA .......I think if he had had more personality - he would have connected better with the fans

Really? Why - because you think he only worked 2 years in WWF? He had a 20 year career working for WWWF, NJPW, Calgary, AGPW, Australia, Hawaii, USWA, Global/Dallas, UWF/Japan, WPW/Germany, IWA/Puerto Rico, UWA/Mexico, CWF/Florida, NWA/LA, WWF. He was the furthest thing from a one hit wonder. Typically you hear shit like that about wrestlers from people who's only exposure to the product was WWF fare.
