Stevie Ray is a stand up guy, him and Booket T always take time to visit with the fans. I respect both of them for what they have done and what they continue to do for the business. Unfortunately racism is still a part of our culture, never judge a man unless you've walked a mile in his shoes.

The demand for racism in the US far far far outweigh the supply. I'm a Jew married with a dark black woman with black kids. We are both conservatives and we never had any problems with anything remotely related to racism. My Democrats friends see racism everywhere and blame racism for why they don't have success in life.
Does racism still exist? of course it does. As a reason to be worried, Does it make the top 500 as far as most people of color or us jews are concerned? No, not even close unless you play identify politics and invent problems where there's none. Never in the history of the west has there been so few racism related issues, we live in the most tolerant time of the most tolerant civilization ever. My black kids will never have any problems with racism because they are not raised to see racism at every corner like many of my liberal friends raise their children's. Just like me and my wife had more success in life because of the way we see the world, my kids will continue to have success until they die.

@Duchess Mbuyambo Wait until she learns she isn't black...she won't be happy. I have nothing against white woman by the way or even Asians.... well maybe not asians. Why don't you think she's a "real" black woman? Because a "real" black woman would not marry a Jew?

Harlem Heat was absolutely a victim of racism in WCW because they had already established themselves as the top tag team in the organization years before they got their push. Then, even after they received their push, WCW tried to saturate WCW with dozens of tag teams they were hoping would rival them as if they were hoping one team would be able to take that top spot from them. I honestly felt during that time that Harlem Heat could have been as legendary as the Road Warriors at that time. Booker T was and still is a phenom on the mic, and his athleticism combined with Stevie Ray’s brute strength created excellent chemistry.

@bill gates I'm black and I agree that it isn't racism. But racism is very different from discrimination. You just explained that very well to the detail. Harlem Heat was great and I followed their careers together and individually. I think minorities in the business were limited to sterotypical roles which could pigeonhole them and limit their success.

I've spent a small amount of time around a couple of small indie wrestling outfits, and all I did is keep my mouth shut, and absorb knowledge. I can only speak on my experiences at that time, and I'm willing to learn more from people that have traveled those roads. That's how they need to approach it. Listen to those that have knowledge and experiences. Learn from them. There are people that will be more than happy to talk with you, and teach to the extent that they can. Keep doing your thing, brother.

Yeah Stevie Ray, those dumbasses should have used respect if they disagreed with you and stated their disagreement with what you said with kid gloves. Thank you for your work in the past as a wrestler, and the current as a trainer. Keep up the good work.
