Bad News Allen (aka Bad News Brown in WWF) is a judo champion who competed in the 1976 Olympics. Before joining Vince McMahon & WWF in the late 1980s, Bad News spent several years in Canada & Japan.
Before they made it to WWE, Chris Jericho & Christian both worked with the late Bad News Brown (aka Bad News Allen). Also, NFL star & former WCW star Larry Cameron had a stint in Canada with Bad News as well. Larry Cameron was a pro wrestler who died in the ring during a bout in Germany in 1993.

When they asked him about the toughest Japanese wrestler he face, I knew he'd forget that he wrestled arguably the greatest fighter of all time seeing as he was a rookie back then. He and Sakuraba had a great match in the UWFi
@Citizen Beeswax True, his MMA career does overshadow his Pro wrestling career. But he is still considered a legend in pro wrestling in particular for his fued with Tamura and match of the year candidates with Shibata at dominion and of course Nakamura at wrestle kingdom 7. those matches were in his late 40s

BNB has been in so many territories and has seen so much during the great years of wrestling. His stories are great. He didn't abuse his brain with too many drugs and his recollection is clear

I didn’t really like this guy but he grew on me. I love his “shoot interviews.” He is a straight shooter. Like I said, I didn’t like him before (until i got to see the real him) but I guess that’s what made him so good: to be such a convincing villain (a hill) that i would dislike him. He was underrated ...he deserves more credit ❤️❤️❤️

i liked bad news as a kid even when i was supposed to hate him, he soo needs to be put in the wwe hall of fame in my opinion.
I was always worried for the person goin against him. He never seemed to get hurt
Bad News was a great heel. He could draw the heat, work the mic, and do it all in the ring. The only problem for Bad News was he was 45 years old when he got to the WWF back in 1988. It was going to be very hard for a 45 year old to get a serious push or a title run. The guy definitely had great talent though.

Cool fact bad news was acquaintances with Rowdy Ronda Rousey's mom who was the world Judo champion. Even cooler connection? Rhonda's mom and herself both trained under Gene lebell. Roddy Piper is one of only a couple dozen black belt in Judo ever given out by Gene lebell, another being Chuck Norris

@Stephen Joens andre in his prime is still 500 pounds and bad news in his prime is a judo champion. With a few kicks to andres legs he goes down. The problem with being 500 pounds is that you can't move fast enough to block kicks and punches. The only way Andre gets bad news is if he grabs bad news. Like I said bad news wasn't at all worried about Andre.
I like bad news brown but andre would have killed him in his prime.
