Multiverse saga went over most movie goers heads. I think some of us got cheated out of seeing more multiverse characters and story from the looks of it. Now it still could shake out very very good
I just had a thought. What if Dr. Strange telling Stark there was only 1 way to defeat Thanos and that was by Stark sacrificing himself to kill Thanos, because Strange saw Stark as Doom in those different realities and Strange needed Stark to die so that Doom would not appear. 🤷🏻♂️
Dr. Strange 3 should be Triumph and Torment. That would flesh out a huge chunk of Doom's backstory while also setting up Doom and Strange's relationship in Secret Wars.
I know exactly how this will go and yes I’m certain. His announcement is hated at first (hate is the default human mode in 2024) and once the movie comes out people will praise it and act like they never hated on it in the first place.
The main vampire villain should be some marvel character that is somehow connected to a high level mystical being (choose your favorite) so to lead to other members of the future midnight sons.

I never thought we were going to get a bunch of battle world films. That just doesn’t seem realistic considering how long it takes to make films. The multiverse saga would have to be like 20 years. We have been in the multiverse for a good 6 years now. I don’t think ending it in the next couple years feels rushed. Thanos wasn’t in that much content prior to his 2 films.
I like the theories, but I do think that's alot to accomplish in one spider man movie, not without feeling like we're missing something. And what do you think of the idea that doomsday and secret wars could both be part 1 and 2 type movies?
I feel like the MCU bit off more than they can chew with the whole Multiverse time wise. Hopefully they pull it off, but the fact is there are way to many moving parts to make it happen in the time allotted. That is just me thinking out loud here, but I just can't see it tbh. The thing about the comic book iteration of the 'multiverse saga' is that they already had literally dozens of already established characters in the comics universe versus the handful that they currently have in the MCU. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be like all the haters out there who are quick to talk crap on the MCU, Disney, etc. I'm just concerned they don't have enough time to establish all the moving parts, character wise. I think they need to pay attention to what works. Shows like Agatha and Penguin, for example worked for a reason. These were characters literally no one watching 'super hero' media was invested in, but became invested once the shows came out. That's a testament to great storytelling, casting, etc., but my point is that it's a lot like when the comics comes out with a great run, one shot or mini-series. With Disney Plus, they have a great opportunity to introduce new characters while telling good stories, like Agatha and Hawkeye, and Moon Knight (which people can argue that the latter wasn't as good, but you see where I am going with this). I'm thinking if they treat the TV shows like comic runs, one shots, mini series with great storytelling, cast etc, they could introduce dozens of characters to the point where they literally have one different prime time show Mon through Fri leaving the weekends to bring back animated Saturday morning cartoon type shows, leaving the rest of the weekend for 'special' or 'interviews' and What If? episodes. Effectively using what traditionally worked for both TV and comics collectively., and setting up movies and crossovers for the big screen. To me, something like this would have really worked for something as huge as Battle World and Secret Wars. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe everything will turn out great...
While yes RDJ will be an absolute beast in this role, it’s going to be a complete disservice to him and the character of Doom to have him introduced and defeated in the same phase. Doomsday needs to set up Doom’s plans, his background, and how it all drives him towards what his goal is. Then he attains that goal by the end of Secret Wars, as it should be the film that leaves off on that “creation of Battleworld” moment. To be an equivalent of the snap. Phase 6 needs an extension or we go into Phase 7 where almost all films take place on Battleworld with a few being prequels in order to get us groups like the Xmen. God Emperor Doom deserves better than this……..
bringing Blade into the Multiverse Saga now is pointless. It makes more sense to introduce him in the next saga, and have that saga focus on mutants and the supernatural

I honestly don't think people are "over" the multiverse, they are over BAD multiverse concepts. They barely even touched multiverse stuff lol, I don't get how people can be over it. It's just that Marvel hasn't handled it well, that's why it's popular. Audiences loved Spiderman NWH, Enter the Spiderverse (okay, maybe people just like Spiderman lol), Deadpool & Wolverine, they just needed to stick to more popular/known characters. Marvel spread themselves waaaay too thin with Phase 4 with lackluster stories and characters, that's what's led to fatigue IMO.

At this point I have no problem with Blade being delayed for a while as long as it’s still Mahershala and it’s done right, he deserves it and the character deserves it.
Marvel has burned through so many big bads in small films, limiting their options for future Fantastic Four and Avengers movies. Both teams have one or two viable villains left. F4 have Annihilus, Avengers have Korvac. Characters like Mad Thinker or Count Nefaria aren’t headining these films. At least they have the X-Men.
I kinda feel cheated. I think the multiverse stuff went over many people’s heads, but I was really enjoying it and feel kinda disappointed. Between the Majors situation and everything, it all just feels like a mess that can’t be cleaned up in any satisfactory way. But I’m also a nerd and fan of the comics. The general movie going public isn’t. Now I’m wondering what they’re gonna do with Loki. It’s hard to do a soft reboot without entirely making his arc pointless.
The decisions Disney is making feel extremely reactionary. It’s not on the level of WB’s horrible decisions but I don’t feel like any of this is for the sake of the story & the fans
To be honest the whole mcu needs to stop. I don't know which is worse the mcu are the Sony spiderman villains without spiderman. The infinity saga was great but since then is been just bad there were a few good movies to come out but other than that eh really. I'm just concerned they don't have enough time to establish all the moving parts, character wise.
I think they need to pay attention to what works. Shows like Agatha and Penguin, for example worked for a reason.
These were characters literally no one watching 'super hero' media was invested in, but became invested once the shows came out. That's a testament to great storytelling, casting, etc., but my point is that it's a lot like when the comics comes out with a great run, one shot or mini-series. With Disney Plus, they have a great opportunity to introduce new characters while telling good stories, like Agatha and Hawkeye, and Moon Knight (which people can argue that the latter wasn't as good, but you see where I am going with this). I'm thinking if they treat the TV shows like comic runs, one shots, mini series with great storytelling, cast etc, they could introduce dozens of characters to the point where they literally have one different prime time show Mon through Fri leaving the weekends to bring back animated Saturday morning cartoon type shows, leaving the rest of the weekend for 'special' or 'interviews' and What If? episodes. Effectively using what traditionally worked for both TV and comics collectively., and setting up movies and crossovers for the big screen. To me, something like this would have really worked for something as huge as Battle World and Secret Wars. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe everything will turn out great...

While yes RDJ will be an absolute beast in this role, it’s going to be a complete disservice to him and the character of Doom to have him introduced and defeated in the same phase.
Doomsday needs to set up Doom’s plans, his background, and how it all drives him towards what his goal is.
Then he attains that goal by the end of Secret Wars, as it should be the film that leaves off on that “creation of Battleworld” moment. To be an equivalent of the snap.
Phase 6 needs an extension or we go into Phase 7 where almost all films take place on Battleworld with a few being prequels in order to get us groups like the Xmen.

I honestly don't think people are "over" the multiverse, they are over BAD multiverse concepts. They barely even touched multiverse stuff lol, I don't get how people can be over it. It's just that Marvel hasn't handled it well, that's why it's popular. Audiences loved Spiderman NWH, Enter the Spiderverse (okay, maybe people just like Spiderman lol), Deadpool & Wolverine, they just needed to stick to more popular/known characters. Marvel spread themselves waaaay too thin with Phase 4 with lackluster stories and characters, that's what's led to fatigue IMO.
There’s no doubt that these next big 4 movies will be great, just disappointed how we’re building up to it, cap 4, thunderbolts, the marvels, f4, black panther 2, etc. the whole universe feels so disconnected, besides the stakes of the multiverse ending, what’s at stake for all of our characters besides, spiderman, doom & strange? I feel like there’s a lot of story left for our other characters and marvel is finding a quick way out w the story from nwh & ds2! I’m invested no doubt, the process is just too rushed

At this point I have no problem with Blade being delayed for a while as long as it’s still Mahershala and it’s done right, he deserves it and the character deserves it.
Marvel has burned through so many big bads in small films, limiting their options for future Fantastic Four and Avengers movies.
Both teams have one or two viable villains left. F4 have Annihilus, Avengers have Korvac. Characters like Mad Thinker or Count Nefaria aren’t headining these films. At least they have the X-Men.

I kinda feel cheated. I think the multiverse stuff went over many people’s heads, but I was really enjoying it and feel kinda disappointed. Between the Majors situation and everything, it all just feels like a mess that can’t be cleaned up in any satisfactory way. But I’m also a nerd and fan of the comics. The general movie going public isn’t. Now I’m wondering what they’re gonna do with Loki. It’s hard to do a soft reboot without entirely making his arc pointless.
The decisions Disney is making feel extremely reactionary. It’s not on the level of WB’s horrible decisions but I don’t feel like any of this is for the sake of the story & the fans

I've been disappointed with the multiverse stuff. They haven't really been going big enough. Mulivetse of Madness was anything but. Kang has been a letdown as the next Thanos level villain of the multiverse.
