The sacred timeline doesn’t have an anchor nor need one. The other timelines need one to anchor them to the sacred timeline. Anchor beings are the ones that create that branch.

Feige literally said long enough for him to master the mystic arts. And we saw he mastered it alright. That takes some serious time.
I'd agree if Anchor Being wasn't a meta term to describe character that, when their story is done and over with, their cinematic universe crumbles around it
I believe though that there is no anchor being in Earth-616 since it's the “Sacred Timeline” unlike the other universes that lives outside the sacred timeline which relies on an anchor being for the universe to live on.
I think it would be cute if they said it was Stan Lee. Everyone thinks that it’s Tony Stark but Stan Lee passed around the time of endgame. It would be such a clever way to pay homage to him.
Howard Stark could be the anchor being. He worked on projects in WWI, WII, founding member of SHIELD, The Manhanttan project, kicks of the MCU in origins with Captain America, and set the foundation for Tony. Everything Tony has done was because of his father and even in death, he had influence on Tony's actions. The very details of his death divided the Avengers and in Endgame, Howard is the direct catalyst for closure for Tony.
I suspect if tony stark was indeed the anchor being, then 616 also started to die. why would paradox pick deadpool to join the 616 universe which is going to have a similar fate as 10005.
Valid argument. It’s likely that either the 616 universe anchor being is still alive, or that 616 lacks an anchor being as that timeline can never cease
It could be on the process of dying since Tony died but after the events in MoM the incursion could play a vital role for the 616 universe to manage to survive.

the scared universe, what if it’s so sacred it doesn’t need a single anchor being, however the main point of it is gathering up the best anchor beings from each universe and gathering them up, such as they tried to attempt to do with deadpool from 616.
I personally hope it’s not Dr. Strange, he’s already way to arrogant and cocky, instead I think it’s someone who’s long lived like Thor perhaps, I initially thought of God of Stories Loki but his timeline was pruned or maybe Thanos which would certainly be interesting.
Maybe it’s Reed Richards. If one of the leaked plots of the latest Fantastic Four is them originally being from 616 but got displaced into another universe it would mean that the decay started in the 60s
Franklin Richards makes a little more sense based on the powers. Going off your example of they aren’t in the 616 universe anymore, having the anchor being never being born in 616 might increase the pace of decay. Meaning Franklin will have to get all his comic book powers and restore order. Kinda like the analogy of a snake eating its tail.
I'm not here to nit pick but the fantastic four that is coming up is set in a alternate universe. Their universe is in a futuristic 60's setting. That earth will die, due to Galactus. (As seen) The future foundation will build the arc and reed will take his family and who ever he can to another universe....ie 616. He cannot be the anchor of the 616. Wanda is the best best for me.
The anchor being is such an interesting concept... I mean, the X-Men "reality" existed just fine before Logan was born, right? Probably for thousands of years. Why would an entire reality be tied to a mortal being who at some point in history will absolutely 100% die? Feels like an odd concept. I'm excited to see how they evolve on it.
With how meta deadpool & wolverine got. The anchor being is everyone who kept fans coming back to that universe. For x-men that was wolverine, when he died no one would really come back.
Maybe the Sacred Timeline doesn’t need an Anchor Being but it is the only timeline that can cause Incursions. Which would affect other universes’ Anchor Beings. If Feige said Strange was an anchor for the MCU, it’s probably Strange.
Guys, anchor being is a deadpool joke. Wolverine was the anchor to all the fox xmen movies... every xmen movie was more like Wolverine and friends. So when he died off, so did the franchise.
Kang is a counqueror, and conquerors are tacticians. When would be the best time to take out his biggest threat? When they are down and wounded, i.e., after the events of Doomsday or Secret Wars, when our heroes are still reeling from their final battle with Doctor Doom. Kang knows all about time, it's likely he's travelling to a time when he sees himself having the greatest odds of success. I personally think this would be a better alternative than just scrapping his character entirely. I can see them setting up Battle World and God King Doom at the end of Avengers Doomsday, then having him defeated by the end, and having Kang step in as the final obstacle before the restoration of the Multiverse, and the reversal of Battle World.
Anchor beings have to change often since none are immortal. Logan was only 200+ years old. This means that either that timeline branched off from the main timeline at his birth or there was another anchor being prior to his birth or him becoming the *Wolverine".
@amadeus.7436 I mean the assumption here is that universes really have the "before the anchor" time. From a meta perspective the fox Xmen universe only came into being with the first Xmen film. Same with the MCU and ironman.
The way I imagine it is an anchor being either comes into being right before the universe was destined to die or any being of a significant enough "mysterious" purpose can become the anchor being. That "mysterious" purpose only being mysterious to the TVA because they can't break the 4th wall. It's like how at the end of Deadpool and Wolverine, the combination of them both saved the universe. They became relevant enough to hold up the universe on their own. RDJ Dr. Doom will probably be the next anchor being.
I think revealing that Stan Lee was a Watcher that went against rules to help the hero’s a bit for the future threat (Doom) would be cool as hell as the anchor being. Or it could just be Tony but I really want Stan Lee to be confirmed as a watcher that tried to help (Like the one from Ultimate Alliance 1 if anyone remembers that old game)
What is the cosmic significance of an anchor being? Why do they exist? Are they the universe personified in some form? Like maybe the MCU could merge the concept of eternity and an anchor being. Through this they would act as avatars or embodiments of their universe evolving from all the sentient life it has hosted, eventually becoming a being in some capacity.
I'm still so confused about Wade meeting up with Happy. I could have sworn they said that was in 616, but then they switched as if it was the same Deadpool. Can you do a video about that?
To canonize all the weird missteps of the multiverse saga on Tony Stark dying as a canon event of an anchor being is low key genius! It addresses it and they will take notes
The MCU writers have shown repeatedly that they are not handcuffed to concepts introduced by one writer, or group of writers. Yes, the 616 could have an anchor being but it could just as easily not have one.
@@garrettcanavan9308 Do they tend to stick with large concepts like this ? Such as what ? How the multiverse works has been changed at least a half a dozen times & I'd say that's the biggest concept ever introduced.
I bet Doom died in 616 due to some sort of accident or other and because of that Tony died as well. It’s possible that there are 2 anchors and if one or both die it’ll effect the universe is why there will be a Tony Stark/Doom lookalike lol
I'm just putting it out there that it was *Thor* who was focused on right after talking about anchor beings. You could chalk it up to Deadpool getting distracted, or that Thor is the anchor point.
I don't think just one person could be the anchor being, i think it depends on what the person is supposed to do in their timeline and whether or not they meet that goal, literally all of the avengers could be considered anchor beings
What if the anchor being was an an MCU Apocalypse that was killed thousands of years ago, possibly through a future time travel story. It could also be the "reason" why the mutants haven't been in the MCU
These videos reach sooooo hard Why are you all OBSESSED with knowing the plots of movies and every outcome before seeing them? It’s the epitome of doing it wrong
Isn’t it more logical that the 616 universe does not have an anchor being, because the main mcu timeline is the ‘sacred timeline’. Maybe thats why our universe is non deletable or something
Anchors keep something "Anchored" to something else, the main timeliness doesn't have an Anchor being, it's the MAIN time line, the line all other timeliness are anchored to. I believe Anchor beings are the beings that caused timeline splits and originally would have been the ones pruned (Like Loki for example) and their universe plays out the story of how things would have been. So once they die, their story no longer needs to be told so the Universe withers away.
I don't think it was Paradox who wanted the timeline erased. I think it was someone a little more calculating. Someone with a little more gravitas, capable of ushering in... doomsday...
Kang as the anchor being… people would straight riot. Lets just be happy folks seem to be on board again with marvel movies from the deadpool goodwill.
It's totally Peter Parker, Tony builds up the universe and setting up things so Peter can lead it and be the true anchor being. Ok Ike how Professor X paves the way for Wolverine to be the anchor being.
Is it Loki? I was thinking its Tony Stark but... I'll watch your video..but my guess before watching maybe Loki and because Loki holds the green stringy thingies..thats why the timeline is staying together and not being desteoyed. (Im probably so wrong)
I think Kang makes the most sense, as it’s his “Sacred Timeline”. It is entire timeline relied on someone else, he would’ve found a way to preserve them.
I think what he meant by "a being of such vital importance" is a being that depending on their actions that universe with either thrive or die. If they die before they put their universe on the path that helps them thrive they take their universe down with them. The universe itself doesn't die simply because that person does but the events that happen after the anchor beings death lead to that universe being destroyed in one way or another.
If they make Kang the anchor being, then have Cable be the one who kills him, then you can introduce Cable coming "back" to fix what he started, the incursion

The answer is Tony stark (Although I do love the Stan Lee argument too). Everyone seems to be misunderstanding that the anchor being doesn’t actually have anything to do with in universe impact. It’s the character with the greatest impact on the AUDIENCE. Logan wasn’t actually all that important to the fox universe from the perspective of the other characters. Tony has had the most impact on the audience in the MCU by a WIDE margin.
It kind of makes sense that Strange would be the anchor being if they ever bring it up again. There's no doubt he would learn he was the anchor being, and we've seen how obsessive he can become with prolonging the life of a loved one or even an entire universe.

I personally hope it’s not Dr. Strange, he’s already way to arrogant and cocky, instead I think it’s someone who’s long lived like Thor perhaps, I initially thought of God of Stories Loki but his timeline was pruned or maybe Thanos which would certainly be interesting.
The anchor being is one of the soldiers protecting Tony stark
Airmen
It is Tony’s bowl movement
*Tony Stank
I thought it'd be pretty obvious that the anchor being is Captain America. I'm actually really shocked no one mentioned him.
It's obviously Cap. Dude was allowed to manipulate the multiverse and return because he's essential.
And he's been there since day 1
Thank God someone who said it
@@SSJRadioBluthkey issues said he'd talk about it.
I was thinking it was either him Stark
@@ashleypenhall7949 Except you are nitpicking because I mentioned leaked plots that I saw which could be plausible since the movie is in production.
@@calebmahoney2448 That is true I didn’t think of Franklin!
Facts
616 is NOT the only universe that can cause incursions. 838 Strange caused an incursion in MoM by dream walking
@@anonemous7881 where was the dream-walker? Wanda was on Earth
@@MeguVusion Strange was the Dream Walker. Reed Richards explains it to 616 Strange. Thats why they killed him after they killed Thanos.
any universe can cause incursion
Guys, anchor being is a deadpool joke. Wolverine was the anchor to all the fox xmen movies... every xmen movie was more like Wolverine and friends. So when he died off, so did the franchise.
Celestial Loki is a variant from a pruned branch timeline, 616 Loki is dead. He is on a higher plane of existence outside of reality.
That plane being inside alioth, who is in the void
As fun as any of these characters being the anchor being would be, it’s likely someone we haven’t seen on screen yet
But the previous anchor being had to die, meaning the universe would collapse.
It doesn't really make sense.
@amadeus.7436 I mean the assumption here is that universes really have the "before the anchor" time.
From a meta perspective the fox Xmen universe only came into being with the first Xmen film. Same with the MCU and ironman.
Well it would mean wolverines parents are important since they birth the anchor being and the parents before them and so on. . .
If a universe’s existence depends on an ‘anchor being’ (aka its marketability) - then the Creator has a twisted sense of humor.
I don’t think the MCU doesn’t have one as it is the main timeline and I don’t think it is supposed to die off
I wouldn't be surprised if in the end Loki somehow assumes the role of achor being. Allowing it to be some off screen being who is unlikely to die.
Maybe Nick fury ? Or maybe they have a multi anchor beings since it’s the sacred timeline
i think it's honestly going to be strange. he's going to be so important moving forward and he's crucial for the story w/ doom.
5:43 you had me in the first half 😂
What if the anchor being was Tony Stark so they try to bring him back from another universe and end up bringing Dr. Doom instead?
I think cap could be the ancor being. He was the first canonical hero of the mcu (thor aside), and he also was key in a lot of major moments
The MCU writers have shown repeatedly that they are not handcuffed to concepts introduced by one writer, or group of writers. Yes, the 616 could have an anchor being but it could just as easily not have one.
this!
I mean sure... but they tend to stick with large concepts like this. Plus Feige was clearly happy that people are asking the question...
@@garrettcanavan9308 Do they tend to stick with large concepts like this ? Such as what ? How the multiverse works has been changed at least a half a dozen times & I'd say that's the biggest concept ever introduced.
Yeah but they wouldn’t keep talking about anchor beings just for 616 to not have one .
@@Heavytripss who keeps talking about them ?!!?
I bet Doom died in 616 due to some sort of accident or other and because of that Tony died as well. It’s possible that there are 2 anchors and if one or both die it’ll effect the universe is why there will be a Tony Stark/Doom lookalike lol
I think it’s T’Challa, his death has the most impact that we have barely scratched the surface of.
Imagine it’s Hawkeye lolol
There’s a reason Nat died for him 😂
Wong
Ulysses Claw😂…Baby don’t hurt me, no more
That’s the exact kind of thing Deadpool would do! 😂
What if the anchor being was an an MCU Apocalypse that was killed thousands of years ago, possibly through a future time travel story. It could also be the "reason" why the mutants haven't been in the MCU
It could culminate in an time traveling extended bigger battle of earth being the reason why the multiverse opened up again after endgame.
Fun fact. They are called "nexus beings" in the comics, not sure why the name change but it is the scarlet witch in the comics.
These videos reach sooooo hard
Why are you all OBSESSED with knowing the plots of movies and every outcome before seeing them? It’s the epitome of doing it wrong
I was waiting for you to say KANG!
Isn’t it more logical that the 616 universe does not have an anchor being, because the main mcu timeline is the ‘sacred timeline’. Maybe thats why our universe is non deletable or something
Only sacred because Kang choose so
@@szalaierik still could be.
@@MedroffYT kang doesnt dictate the laws of the universe
Ravonna from Loki should be Kang's female doppleganger, like Sylvie and Loki. It would be a good wrap-up to their weird connection during season 2.
Someone with a little more gravitas, capable of ushering in... doomsday...
It's the one person who so far has created incursions where 2 realities merge.
So far, that's only been seen with Dr Strange
Wasn't it in Johnathan Major's contract that no one else could play Kang? All variants had to be played by him.
Btw " Anchor Being " when said sounds like " Anchor Bean " I'm just saying... It's all I hear now. 😅
I think Kang makes the most sense, as it’s his “Sacred Timeline”. It is entire timeline relied on someone else, he would’ve found a way to preserve them.
This is a such a stupid guess considering he’s only been in one movie
Disney's Agatha might be set during the Multiverse of Madness and a scene might take place where Agatha will appear last minute to save Wanda.
well its spiderman if were going by the script that was scrapped apparently....
I sticking with Hawkeye as the anchor being
If they make Kang the anchor being, then have Cable be the one who kills him, then you can introduce Cable coming "back" to fix what he started, the incursion
What if Downey was kang? WAIT hear me out. We all so him in tropic thunder. If anyone can replace Jonathan majors it would be him

Huh, I thought the thing with Thor was just a joke. Now I'm thinking Deadpool might be in the next Thor movie. Which kind of works with how silly and weird the Thor films have become.
The sacred timeline doesn't need an Anchor being, but if it did, it would likely be Reid Richards, or maybe Dr. Strange.
I always wondered why Doctor Strange was playing with water when he could’ve easily froze it during endgame. Maybe he is the anchor being.
Hear me out now, what if the reason thor was crying was because Deadpool sacrificed himself because he (Deadpool) knew that Thor was the anchor being. 😮😮
Steve Rogers could be a good candidate for being the Anchor Being
It kind of makes sense that Strange would be the anchor being if they ever bring it up again. There's no doubt he would learn he was the anchor being, and we've seen how obsessive he can become with prolonging the life of a loved one or even an entire universe.
I thought Nick Fury. He’s been in the most projects excluding Stan Lee (may he rest in peace) and first conceptualised The Avengers.
Kang idea is brilliant, I hope Marvel watches your channel 😂😍
I can't see it being Tony. His sacrifice was essential to Endgame. There's no way Strange was sacrificing the whole universe like that.
