Hi there! I just started my journey with Saxenda yesterday. Starting on 0.6 and started with a headache mid day…by evening the headache was terrible and I was so nauseous- didn’t sleep much at all. I powered through and today seems to be a better day. So glad you post your updates so often! It’s comforting to find someone documenting so frequently- it helps us newbies so much! Thank you!!

Hi Michelle! First off, welcome to the family!
There are definitely several side effects when you start which usually disappear within a week. Nausea and headaches are frequent. While Saxenda is usually the cause of those side effects, you also have to keep in mind that if you are putting effort into your diet and stopping things like caffeine or greatly reducing your calorie intake, those can also cause headaches and nausea, which is typically my case.
Most people say that it takes 3-4 days to start feeling the full effect but I think that varies quite a bit. I tell everyone the same thing: It's not a miracle pill but if you take this seriously and watch what you eat, Saxenda can really shine and take away all your cravings.
I wish you a lot of success Michelle and hope to get updates! You have a lot of good days ahead!

Thank you!!! Yes I am focusing strongly on my nutrition as directed by my doctor and drinking lots of water! I use an app to track my calories and I actually have the scale and app as you do for my weigh in - Renpho products are great!!

You are doing awesome! I do notice when I go to the gym and have longer cardio days I am STARVING! I finally broke my stall, not even sure how! 4 weeks with NO weight loss and this week started losing again! I was just about to start a restart! Keep up the good work!

Way to Go!!... that break really makes a difference. Just wish I had taken a longer break as you. I actually like to see the actual weigh in, I feel as its me getting on the scale. You should contact the manufacturer on those shakes, it could be a bad batch and they might replace them or give you a discount. I've done that in the past with other products. #daretoinspire

Hi Grace! Alright then, I shall add those scale videos at the beginning haha.
You're right, I should call the manufacturer and see about getting some coupons! Great idea!!!
I hope you are doing well!

I wonder if you needed more protein at dinner??

Being on a low calorie diet, I certainly need to start rethinking my protein situation. I really feel it when I'm too low on that end. My shakes help quite a bit, even if they are just 30grams.

Good evening. I have a question . Namely, I was on a break with Saxsenda for 10 days. I started again on Saturday. Unplanned, I ended up in the hospital with my son. And what should I do now? Is it wise to take a break again? Last time I lost 2 kg. I'm not smart anymore, should I continue or take a break again?

Hi Ivana! I'm assuming you ended up at the hospital FOR your son rather than a Saxenda-related issue? First off, I hope he is better!
If your visit to the hospital isn't for you, I would go ahead and start it up again. Remember, you will have to put in effort and show restraint for Saxenda to really help.
I'm cheering for you Ivana! Go get those losses!

@@daretoinspire1982 Thank you for your reply. Not because of Saxsenda. Of course I continue on. Thank you. I also hope that everything will be fine with my son and that we will be home soon.
