    In the Northeast, baseboard heat is usually hot water, using a boiler. (a type of furnace). The fuel could be fuel oil or natural gas. Most of the time, these old homes would have had radiators, but in the effort of "modernizing", those were often pulled out and were replaced by baseboards. Electric heat would be an astronomical cost in Maine.

    Bang-gor. Not banger. I grew up about a half of a mile from the Milford house. It's probably over-priced by about $30,000. That's why it's not selling. It is in fact on the road and all that, too.
    There are no jobs in Milford and Bang gor is a solid half-hour drive. It's a nice little town, though. Tough winters.
