F1/GT Hybrid Cockpit? Finally. - AZRacing CS-PRO Review

- AZRacing are back and have released their CS-PRO - a hybrid simracing cockpit which can be used in either F1 or GT/Rally positions. It can even do karting! The redesign saves on their shipping costs while still being rock solid, perfect if you're a direct drive user like me.
Jump in and we'll go over how this rig performs. I'm primarily an iRacer, so I chat about it from that perspective.
Note, the base itself is just $350, which is really solid value. You'll note though that accessories and the seats especially raise the price. Still, an F1-capable rig this solid for under 1000!

Hey Elliot, another great video! I'll also be sharing a vid on this cockpit in the future and I have to admit, the structural integrity is extremely nice. Hopefully the rest of the parts arrive soon so i can finish building It, thet nailed the quality out of the park with this cockpit and the cable management opening on the tubing section is super nice!

Thanks for the review - very informative. Great concept for an 'all in one' cockpit however I noticed your legs are very close to the cross bar above your shins. Just looks a little cramped to me anyway.

Yeah I comment on this - this is absolutely on the limit, as an 188cm. I'd avoid going for the F1 setup if you're anywhere near my height! GT would suit better. Their foldable seat I think goes for 199 which is decent value
I'll add as well - I gave feedback on extending the mounting plate slightly longer to accommodate this, and they've just revised the design to extend it out slightly, which is great!
This is sick. You can get the rig and a seat for 650 bucks? Shipping to US is only 40 dollars? Only thing that comes close is the Track Racer RS6, but that is still about 100-150 bucks more for the whole setup.

Does the wheel plate have a mounting pattern for the logitech g pro?
It's got a whole bunch of different mounting positions with holes that support nearly any base, I'd say you'd be fine! The pedal rack is also adjustable which is a nice touch. You can reach out and I'm sure they'd be happy to take photos of it for you
Can I run the standard seat in formula style mode or do I have to use the formula seat
The mounting points are the same, but with the way a standard seat is designed I don't think it'd be very comfortable!

Your legs are hitting the bars?! Ergonomics are absolute most important aspect of sim racing and this looks lacking. Wheel base should only have side or top mounts and hoops should be very far spaced for optimal ingress and egress. TrakRacer TRX is still best out, but not without some room for improvement. This looks far from upper echelon design, adjustability and quality
Totally, it's usable but far from perfect - I gave some feedback and they've actually revised the design on the wheel plate which is great, it extends further. Still, if you're 188cm or over, you're better off sticking to GT
@@elliotmaddox I'm finding many aren't paying attention to making sure there are adequate adjustability and a few extra inches which make a huge difference. Hopefully they'll start paying attention
I ordered the rig but only the rig and seat thinking that I'd be able to order the additional parts later but unfortunately that seems not to be the case on the website. It's charging me for a whole another cockpit. Please share if you know anything about adding to completely customized order later

I am 6foot3 what do you mean by gt one do you recommend me not buying this because I will be to tall for it I’m a little confused I’m new to all of this racing simulator stuff
You'd definiltey be too tall for the F1 seat / position, but you can get their GT seat and mount it in a "GT Position", where you don't sit as low as F1. Recommend!
