Just hit a run at a beautiful park here in Florida and gonna double up and hit my nightly run around my college campus tonight. Love watching these after my workouts.
Lmao. He yells at them for going too fast, then when they go off the rails and go even faster he says nothing to save face. You know if flotrack wasn't there they would have gotten shit for cutting down so much on the last 2 reps
Guys right now I m in off season and we do intervals on wednesday. My question is how much effort should I put in that. Like if I really push myself i will be dead for 2 days and no chance of recovering. Do you have any experiences? Thanks
The reason I became a sprinter is because I didn’t want to look like that. And also because my school didn’t spereate mid distance and distance and in my opinion sprinting is better for the 800 than constant long runs
Clearly FloTrack has coach a little nervous too! First he says he wants group 1 between 5:10 and 5:20 ... for 2km intervals. A 5.10 2km interval would be a 26 min 10km breaking the world record and this is support to be a lighter workout. Then he compares the 10km workout to an 8 mile loop? An 8 mile loop would be over 3km longer than a 10k.... I want some of whatever this coach is smoking
Definitely referring to Mile pace. Mick Byrne has been an NCAA Coach for over 20 years and has held numerous workouts with Flotrack during that time so I highly doubt he was all too nervous.
lol, I dont think coaches really care about these types of recorded workouts. I know when talking with the coach, ive heard that they just try to mess with people potentially watchign these by making it seem like they have insane workouts. So lots of the time, he might be making it up on the spot instead of following normally planned workouts lol. I know thats true for alot of the past workouts from wisconsin, so I'd take it with a grain of salt anything hes saying haha.
Watching an efficient long distance runner is as beautiful as reading an elegant poem.
There should be a term for that. Something like "moving poetry" or "elegant poem making good moving" or something.
flotrack's last several workout Wednesdays have been some of their best ever. Bravo.
They're so lucky to have so much grass to run on
Apple Pi go to your backyard and run in circles
@@user-ho1cs9kv9m my backyard is all pavement
Apple Pi just go back in forth on the weeds in between the sidewalks like 8000 times

That image of the sheer joy in his face at 9:08 is why I run and I hope why everyone runs
Armando Sturzenegger I cant answer that question legally, my lawyer said so
But the question is: *WHY IS THERE A BLACK DOT IN THE CAMERA?*
Steyn Good, it wasn’t just me

@Armando Sturzenegger fucking random. Weirdo
Im appreciating this coaches ability to recognise the metal component of this workout and the helping the younger runners not cook themselves
Love workout Wednesdays watch this after doing mine
These videos give me motivation

He said “ it’s still September “ 😭😭
It was when they filmed it.

OviSorrab IB these are mostly for distance
Every single one of these training runs starts with the coach telling them not to run too hard - bunch of psychos!

Ok
God this just looks awful. I’m a mid distance hurdler and I was ok at xc but this is WAY too much.
The cowardly paste neurally play because drink timely wrap to a sticky dimple. thinkable, like drain
ok but in all these videos I watch why are all the women so toned and all the men so skinny? they're like sticks lol.
Math Boss because men are biologically skinnier??? And when you combine that with constant running those guys are gonna obviously be skinny lol
