eufronio I’ve been running at Buffalo several times a week for some elevation training, and I’m telling you right now, that hill is one of the hardest hills I’ve ever run. Buffalo is a fast place to run, so your moving really fast. Then the hill hits and it looks short so you don’t change yourself speed at all, then you can’t get air because of the elevation.

I've always thought that a threshold run was where you stay in aerobic but are right up to the point of going anaerobic. What is aerobic threshold and what is anaerobic threshold? What is the difference between the two?
Exactly. According to the McMillan Running Calculator, their 5:17/mile average for this 8 mile workout is in the center of a “Steady State” range for a 30 minute 10k athlete. Edit: they started out at 5:30/mile or so for the first loop and like Nick Holyfield said below they’re at altitude. Their 5:17/mile is on the faster end of a Steady State Run pace range for a 31:00 10k. They’re still in terrific shape.
@@mattp.4329 yeah he is from Massachusetts and he used to run at my current high school I go to. The best part about that is, Mike's coach was my current coach!!!
@@scottcook9749 No it doesn't. His speech was demotivating to the runners is what I said. He could have been motivating, demotivating, or neutral and anywhere in between. If you are as demotivating as this guy, just give or have someone give the instructions and that's it.

Lmao. NAU just recruits the goofiest/chillest dudes who all just happen to be fast af.
Fr they seem like they have thr soundest guys in ncaas
probably because of the altitude?
“Teams are dreading the distance from 8k to 10k. That’s actually our office. That’s where your desk and your chair is. That’s where you go to work.”
yeah we have ears, we heard him.
I'm sorry but that was hilarious😂
