    I actually do this but i skip adding water. The water makes it watery so by not adding water you don’t have to add the cornstarch to thicken it. Strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice is all I add and it thickens up after about 10 minutes of cooking.

    Love the video, just used this method, silly question but you let it cool down then put in fridge or is it fine just putting it in right away

      Please please let it cool down a lot before putting it in any glass container!!!
      The temperature shock of room tempting to hot and then in the cold fridge could make the glass break at any point. It could also make the glass of the fridge trays break too.
      Normal glass doesn't like rapid temp changes. Only special (borosilicate) glass can. Like the old (capital P) Pyrex glass measuring cups would be fine.
