It's great that VV gives this car a positive review. You need to be open minded to move forward with a new platform. I'm stoked on this new car from McLaren. Hopefully build quality has improved.
The F1 originally had 621hp on a v12. This new engine gets 671-690, off the TT V6. They also give free tunes direct from McLaren. They've come a long way, and in my book, still a super car, just more tech integrations.
I've owned a 650s, and 720s, and modded the 720s to 1050whp. Safe to say I'm a McLaren fan. I was also given an Artura for the 3 days, because the dealers are desperate to sell them. I put the car through it's paces over 300miles (much to the dealer's chagrin), from one day of commuting to doing donuts and drifting through an abandoned mall parking lot for an hour. I found the car to be underwhelming, but it is also ~250k for a new McLaren. There's some tech that they developed for it that is cool. However, I'm waiting for them to come out with the production V8 hybrid. Especially with the W1 coming out. V6s don't belong in supercars. I've said the same about the MC20 and the 296, but both of those sound better than the Artura.
@@SH00TER_S1NGH I had issues with traction on the street with stock sliPirellis 😅. MPSC2s on the rear, as ddwoosh pointed out, helped (when super warm, but I live in Orlando, so not too hard to achieve). I don't usually have it at 1050whp, that needs MS109 fuel, but on it's 93 map, it has 880whp. I ran 8.8 @ 157 at the strip on ms109 (with toyo r888rs), 2.4 0-60, 5.3 60-130.
Absolutely! The Artura is indeed a fantastic car, and it’s great to hear that the latest models are showing improved reliability. It often flies under the radar compared to other supercars, but it really deserves more recognition for its performance and design!
@4:50 oh man the bezels on that screen look like a Walmart tablet, I never understood why car manufacturers cheap out on things like that, if someone is paying 200k for a car, adding a 200$ quality screen and upgrading the process is not going to make or break a potential buyer.
idk bro. the reason porsche gets away w it is cause that is its signature.. the rear engine 6 cylinder. mclaren isn't known for their v6's. i mean don't get me wrong, it sounds good, but I think we're forgetting how beautiful the v8 and v12's sound n settling for a v6 for a SUPERCAR, isn't it
Its the baby mclaren. they dont want to put same engine in all mclarens. That makes the top customers feel less special when they have the same premium engine
Vehicle Virgins Awesome Review I think that you got to Drive that Absolutely Gorgeous and Incredible McLaren Artura Spider and I think it sounds pretty cool for a V6
Took the Artura for a test drive last week, and was shocked how bad the quality overall was. The hybrid system in particular, whirs and buzzez so loudly, you'd think it's about to explode. Even worse were the brakes, the think didn't want to stop. Carbon ceramics or not, if you are not a car enthusiast, you'll surely crash the car. The acceleration as well, not as exhilarating as I was expecting. Too bad, cause I had high hopes for this thing. Looks like if wanna go Mclaren, you gotta go with the 750s.
Whacky comments. What was bad about the quality? Quality is much improved over a 570 or 720. The brake boost is much improved over a 570 or 720, he didn't mention that, it's much easier to drive. Seamless power delivery. Some cars are fast from 0-60, this car astonishes from 60-120. Compare it to a 296 Ferrari, it's like over 600lbs lighter and $100k less. The Artura will be tuned up to the same hp and totally smoke the Ferrari. Just a matter of time
McBad Quality did this car in by releasing the coupes prior to sorting it. Even with the imprivements the car is tainted. Plus get real, McLaren is a brand for the guys who like to win pissing contests. Gotta have a 750 for that.
Awesome car and nice seeing Parker back on his game. But why does V.V. have almost 2.5 million subscribers yet so few views (7.8K) in the first day? Something is off.
I was just wondering the same thing. Not that it matters to me, but I literally was sitting here looking through his views on videos compared to his subs and im lost as hell. This video isn't bad. I'm learning.
It seems like youtube isn't notifying any of my subscribers that I'm posting videos. I wish I had an answer for this as well! Regardless I'm trying my best to make great content and am having fun doing it!
I'm a McLaren 570GT owner, which I have owned for several years now, so I'm the buyer that should be selling or trading in my current McLaren and buying this one. But why would I? It's a V6. Yeah, it's faster than my 3.8 TT V8, but I'm just an M-Engineering tune away from more reliable power than I need. Wait....Who am I kidding??!! The Artura appears to be a much better car in almost every respect. But it doesn't look exciting. It doesn't get the pulse going. If it looked like an MC20, I'd be very excited about this car.

Parker you are so on top of your game. Your car reviews are impeccable. Excellent job.
Thanks so much! I really gave this one my all
Kudos on the ARTURA SPIDER review. Excellent content. Nice production value (Also: Looking good, Parker. Seems like you've lost weight)
V6??? MAN WHAT HAPPENED TO SUPERCARS
*v6 hypercar looking at you*
V6 "super" car 🤭
⚡️🇺🇲
Sea level rise.
They got lighter and more efficient.

Parker how do you like this over the c8 z06 out of curiosity?

Hey can I ask? Did the 1050whp 720s have traction issues and what was your draggy times?
@@SH00TER_S1NGH If you run pilot sport cut 2s that are warm it would probably be fine, would have issues otherwise.

Cool video Parker.👍
This is such a great car! Looks are growing on me as well, especially the front!
I would like to see an Artura LT at some point, hopefully they build it.
I’m literally waiting for the Artura LT to be released. My next McLaren once it is available.
I’m told by my dealer they expect them to be released, will look similar to the Artura GT4
Underrated car for sure!
The Artura is a great car, which is highly underrated. The latest Arturas have been much more reliable.

It should've had a V8
The original M F1 had 621hp on a v12... this tt v6 gets 671 - 690hp and McLaren gives free tunes. Although a TT V8 would've been a monster.
@@Jaron22 it sounds like a sht
@@Pawcio2115it doesn’t sound too bad in person, but definitely needs an exhaust open her up a bit more

how is the build quality?
Much improved!

V12 to a V6. But you got to love it
Great view..the most comprehensive and clear review of the Artura that’s been made…keep up the good work!
Thanks very much!!
did you buy one?
Nice driving
Can you review a 2024 Nissan
GT-R Nismo in pearl white in the future I haven’t seen any reviews on youtube.
i just came back to this channel and was shocked the outro was the same. instantly took my back to the gallardo days
Welcome back! I'm planning to keep the outro the same forever haha
Do a review on the Ferrari 296, please.
I have! It’s on the channel :)
Great car, interior innovation so much better than ferrari
Seen alot more 296's than Artura's which says enough about it already and the 296 is more expensive
It's a good looking car 👌
Awesome video
