That buttress allready loose out of the box is INEXCUSABLE in a car like this! C’mon y’all!!! 😅
Mat has became a mclaren fan boy.
not only is McLaren snatching Lotus engineers, they took the side scoop right off of the Emira as you said. I prefer the 570 looks. This looks a little water downed and it is generic.
Well i basically prefer both Emira and the Artura.
Actually the Artura styling was introduced way before the Emira, so Lotus stole the styling design.
@@paulk4534 well here’s what happened. Staring in 2011, McLaren went shopping and decided to pouch Lotus who was financially struggling. They hired a bunch of lotus engineers, designers, and drivers. That’s how their cars have been improving in handling and now u can a the styling influences.
All the way from south africa 🇿🇦
Would be "fun" when you had one and only drove in elevtric mode = always a new petrol engine under the hood😊
NO
Not a sport car o super car at all just because of the performance, the way the hybrid system works is funny!! Just my opinion, you CARWOW GUYS ROCK!!
When I first saw the Artura I insisted to my boss it was a 675. It then launched and sounded like a hoover and I was so confused 😂 they look so similar from a distance smh
Have you seen porche?
Artura did have 675bhp in my opinion.
Ferrari appreciates over time
They look nothing alike lol
@@purwantiallan5089"in my opinion". It either did or it didn't, your opinion doesn't matter.
Great video Mat!
I want more ev comparisons😅
What about: Toyota PRIUS 2009 vs Nissan LEAF vs Wuling Air EV?
Cheers Matt 👍 I know what to upgrade to from my S3 8V. Top man
The options cost more than my actual car 😂
was blowen away by this when i went to washington mclaren
Looks like a lotus emira for 4 times the price and a quarter of the reliability
Compared to a Toyota 86, Lotus Emira is also 4 times the price and a quarter of the reliability
@@moba.moma.makimaki86s don’t do anything good for the price lol
@@gord6695 Well that's the worst take I've heard in a while lmao.
Because lotus is known for reliability
19:10 Apologies if it is the wide angle lens, but you are tailgating.
I much prefer this than the Mclaren 570s
Faster than even SLR McLaren and Nissan R35GTR NISMO.
Compare this artura with emira side by side please. 🙏🏻
This car is good, but is too similar to her sister 570s
Looking forward to seeing you feature pagani models too
Woah that bonnet has been polished baaaaadly by someone who does not know how to use a machine polisher.
Another neat watch Sir!
Ferrari 296 GTB!
Everyone used to complain that all Porsches looked the same and McLaren's designers were like "Hold my beer!" 🤣
Top gear needs Mat, Doug and Thomas!
No reason to get this over the Ferrari.
This is $100k less than the 296, so that's a pretty good reason.
On the drive mode select, the paint is already flaking off. 10:26
Nice catch there
Finally a mclaren that looks good
Still quicker than a MCL60 though😏
Quicker than also than SLR McLaren.
McLaren are the masters of making expensive looking cars that are feel really cheap
Think its a good way to ensure mechanical sympathy. Easy to forget you have been pottering around for 20 miles and the engine is stone cold
