Thanks for the trip down memory lane. In 2009 I bought a 2006.5 Optima LX with 32k miles for $7,900. It had the 2.4L 4cyl engine and 5-spd manual. I loved that car. Very well built. The 4cyl was incredibly smooth and quiet. Everyone who rode in it was impressed it was a Kia. I only sold it cuz I got tired of driving a stick.
@@theweirdhomie6557 if you can do most stuff then it's not to bad. To change a spark plug took me a full day no joke. If you can find this car with low miles and cheap then It would be okay.
@@johnnitecki3309 that's not bad especially with that low of miles. I'd probably go for it, but remember something simple like changing a spark plug is a pain on these car's.
GarageMishaps ok just asking I got an 07 Kia optima this month. I love it as well. I just heard negative things about the transmission. so was wondering if anything happens with yours. but good to see Ur still loving it lol
Keosha Rogers haha yes still enjoying the car. Just had to do the cv axle but that was due to a ripped boot that let all the grease out eventually started hearing the infamous clicking while turning. But no transmission problems and the car has about 166k miles.

Great cars hard to work on but i still have mine and not letting it go lol,ive lowered mine and done some work on it though
