Okay but Tyrion struggling not to cry when Oberyn said "That's not a monster. That's just a baby"
Oberyn just gave him the respect almost no one in his entire life has EVER given him - recognising him as a human. Not a dwarf, not an imp, not a monster; a human.
His bro Jaime: am i a joke to you?
@@MadMax-fs3cy The adverb "almost": Am I a joke to YOU?
@@MadMax-fs3cy it's totally different.
Jaime is more brotherly love than recognition
Something on the lines of "you're a dwarf, but i still love you because we're brothers"
Oberyn was in total disbelief that someone could even consider tyrion something different than a human. In an innocent way he disregars the tales about tyrion in a "wtf thie is just a human baby" kinda way
humans can be monsters
@@carnivorous_vegan that's not really the point lol
When Oberyn Martell says, "...that's just a baby." I always get chills. I love all of game of thrones, but scenes like this make it the best show I've ever watched.
+deviousfisher Tears in Tyrion eyes it was almost flowing in gratitude for Oberyn telling him he was just a baby, maybe Tyrion himself believed that he was a baby monster as he must have been told that lie.
agree almost, the first 4 seasons were great, then it went downhill pretty fast...
As a book reader I have to say the monologue was actually a lot more powerful in this context.
Until your brother made her stop.
Just passes the line off as nothing but it is a deep statement for tywin to hear
@@Overlijden1995 True it was. Tyrion's incarceration in the show, was better than the book version. I prefer the books. But Jaime and he share multiple scenes. In the books its his uncle Kevan who visits. Jaime has no time with him until his escape.
This showed Oberyn's heart more than anything else I feel; he was clearly out for revenge but he also saw Tyrion as someone truly wronged by the Lannisters as well.
And it was then we should have known his fate was sealed🤣🤣 😭
called hubris, and got him killed in the end, he wanted his own justice
Revenge part Yes, but not the Tyrion part.
Then the next episode showed his brains
He’d have offered to be the champion of anyone fighting The Mountain.
“Until your brother made her stop.”
He always was protecting Tyrion.
Jame
“You were the only one, who didnt treat me like a monster”
the way oberyn says 'and what about what i want' sends spills down your spine
*****, there are a lot of women (and men) in Dorne who agree with you! :-)
Best line of this scene for me!!
I feel the chill in my spine EVERYTIME. You can feel his hurt in his voice. I'm glad he got his revenge. He was never going to leave Kings landing alive either way with lannister soldiers everywhere.
@@GoldBanks60 I think he could've since Myrcella was still in Dorne and Cersei wouldn't have risked her life by taking Oberyn's. He wanted an all-out war though (if I remember correctly) so I don't know how that would've been feasible.
@@tomzhao6956 Exactly. He wanted to kill all the lannisters and maybe spare Tyrion. When he went to King's landing, it was basically a suicide mission.
This scene is so worth watching again.
Hell, the whole episode is worth watching at least twice more!
Docktor Jim bbl, rewatching the episode.
Still gives me chills.
Aren't all of them worth watching again?
and again and again...
"That's just a baby"
That moment when you realize that Tyrion should have been born in Dorne as the little brother of Oberyn and Elia, not of Jaime and Cersei. His life would have been so much more worth living... and if you look at his expression in the next picture, he kinda thinks this, too.
Jamie treated him very well, the rest of his family, not so much. Dornish people are very progressive, though.
If tyrion was in dorne he would have made it quite stronger, maybe won entirely the dorne was perfect for him in all aspects
@@masulubonak9275 Not everything in Dorne is perfect. As we can see with the sand vipers, they can be petty. She basically killed her daughters because Oberyn died in a honorable fight.
To be fair, Jamie had always been good to him. Excluding the Tysha business.
@@shadowbandit3975 not everything in Dorne is perfect, but Tyrion would have fit in well. Look at Oberyn and his mistress: That could have been Tyrion and Tysha. Tyrion's sleeping around would be tolerated, same with his drinking. And most importantly his height. Pity.
Tyrion: If you want justice, you're watching the wrong show.
I am watching the perfect show
This comment aged like Wine
Tragedy after tragedy after another tragedy. For what? To present us a misery nothing more.
Ain't that the truth
If you want a good ending, you chose the wrong showrunners.
This scene was extremely emotional.
avernikas dont even act like youre not just spoiling it
avernikas Is it just me who thinks Prince Oberyn looks like an Arab? He's got a very interesting character I think he would discipline the Mountain and remind him who's boss
avernikas Hilarious to see "speculation" from book readers.
MMH it's simply a general consensus that was drawn from the proofs there of; Oberyn's a poison maker, and the Mountain is seemingly bigger and stronger than Hordor.
avernikas Hodor is stronger, Jon even said that Hodor was stronger than wun wun
Gives me the chills when Oberyn says: "I will be your champion"
Still does after 8 years
it's more than just he words. the way he picks the torch up and the light flickering off his face it's just perfect
Not only this but also the music in this moment and the reaction of Tyrion make it epic
Me tooo
At this point in the book only Oberyn, Jaime, the Hound, and Drogo have a chance against The Mountain.
Jesus christ, Oberyn is up there with Ned Stark as characters who barely had any screen time but left a huge impact
To be fair Ned was basically the main character of S1, played by the legendary Sean Bean too. His shadow continued to haunt the rest of the series. Oberyn was a side character played by then-newcomer Pedro Pascal, which makes his memorable performance even more impactful imo.
Fun fact: This was Pedro Pascal's first day and scene as Oberyn.
And he did THAT?!
Eh, no, they went on record saying that his final scene was with Lena Headey in the garden. They said in the documentary that after delivering his final line, he jumped into the water.
@@Chiwalker "first" is the opposite of "final"
@@missbelled6700 Even Drogon can't burn so severely.
Why ‘FUN’ fact? I no find anythin’ funny here.
"It's not a monster, it's a baby!"
That sentence is awesome!
nine years ago? Hope you’re still there 😂
It’s “That’s not a monster…that’s just a baby.”
One of the great changes from book to show. In the books Oberyn offered to be his champion before Tyrion declared we wanted a trial by combat. This way is so much better, declaring the trial out of pure rage and emotion because he didn't know what else to do. The tension of thinking he was going to have to fight the mountain himself. Then the glorious reveal of Oberyns desire for revenge and his plans on getting it, all starting by giving Tyrion the hope he was looking for. God damn I love this scene.
This would’ve been better if Overton won but his fate was already sealed in the books.
@@vileanduselessdeadworks6550 Nah, I'm glad he lost. If he won it would have been too much like a fairy tale. Also, whose Overton?
@@Arcanecide idk but it was a typo lol.
@@vileanduselessdeadworks6550 The problem with Oberyn dying in the show is less about Oberyn’s death itself and more about the fact that the show ruined the rest of the Dornish plot line. Oberyn’s death works in the books because there’s other interesting stuff going on with Dorne and the Martells. In the show, meanwhile, Oberyn was about the only good thing about Dorne.
If OVERTON won, tyrions character arc would be a lot less interesting since jaime would never tell him the truth about tysha and okay maybe he would still fight again house lannister fleeing to dorne to take up arms but I doubt doran would let him and OVERTON take up arms, you know how passive he is. Besides, tyrion still loves his family despite everything and wants to be a good man. But that thing about tysha was the last drop for him to turn into a villain. Without that, I doubt he would still fight against the crown.
Tywin would still be dead I believe because OVERTON poisoned him. It's just a theory but it makes a lot of sense to me, how OVERTON kept talking about tywin might die, how tywin looked sick when tyrion saw him in the privy, and how his corpse stank in the sept.
maybe varys would still be serving the crown instead of hiding in the walls and killing kevan. jaime might've marched against dorne instead of riverrun on the possibility that martells would take to the front with tyrions help. sand snakes would do things very differently to be sure, maybe aerys oakheart would still be alive and that means qyburn wouldn't have an empty seat at the kingsguard to place zombie clegane so cersei would be doomed to lose her trail against the sparrows and lose her head. who knows how that would affect tommen?
also without the little skirmish in dorne maybe marcella would still have her pretty face intact and with tyrion on their side might be crowned as queen of the 7 kingdoms leading to an open rebellion. and so much more than i can think of rn. a great deal of things wouldve turned out differently for sure and its always fun to think about it and theorize.
Tyrion is just being torn apart.
From being tormented his whole life, by everyone around him including his family, to watching Shae break his heart and now this. This speech alone made it the best part in the episode for me. It's just so damn cruel to see Tyrion in that kind of emotional pain. Every time he cries, I want to cry. Hurry with his second emmy please. And Oberyn... wow. His voice, his character, his acting. It's just... HE IS SO DAMN AWESOME. Spinning around in mid air and shit when he fights the Mountain.
Freakin' DINKLAGE!!!! YEARRGGHH! He's the best actor in the world! All the feels, and he just pulls you right in.
Agreed. There is a lot of talent in Game of Thrones. The supporting cast, surprisingly, is outstanding.
***** Pretty hard not to be impressed by the whole cast.
TheGamingSaiyan97
What do you mean by supporting cast? There really hasn't ever been a clear main character/ lead role
ThatGuyNamedTim It's the Peter Dinklage show. The rest of the people are just there for him to talk down to.
"That's just a baby".
Why does that single line strike such a chord with me? For me, this was probably the peak of GOT. The acting and story was so damn good, it's a crime how horribly it was shattered into a million pieces by S8's ending.
I agree. Season 4 of GOT is the absolute best.
You people really didn’t see that she was gunna die in the end. The song of ice and fire is literally the fall of the Targaryen dynasty. This is why you people aren’t writers 🤣🤣all you guys have are happy endings and once one isn’t it’s a horrible show or movie. People hated the breaking bad ending so bad that they made el Camino. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️house of the dragons is basically the same thing
@@skaoi2286 GoT's ending is actually wayyyy too happy to my taste, so I'm not sure we've seen the same one !
@@redasdu84 like I said it was the fall of the Targaryen dynasty that’s what was so sad about it as much as everyone wanted the prince that was promised it never came true. Jon was no prince or king since his family wasn’t on the throne at the time and also because he was a snow making Sansa queen and him still a bastard with no entitlements. You clearly didn’t watch Jon’s story if you think it was too happy 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
@@skaoi2286 You're not a very good troll you know. I think it's time for you to move on and find some new meat to play with cause it ain't happening here bro
Any one else think that Peter's acting in this scene was even better than the trial!? He deserves an Emmy for sure
I agree... I started doubting whether the trial should be the episode given for Emmy consideration or this one. Trial had more emotional elements in it, while this to me felt somewhat deeper.
The trial was better by far. This scene seems huge to GoT fans because we're so invested in everything leading up to it, including tyrions history. But I think the trial could stand up on its own as a great scene, even if the viewer had never seen GoT
The pain in his eyes was real. I was actually kinda worried about him, whether he connected that speech with something real.
Pascal and Dinklage deliver such an amazing scene.
Oberyn was not only a beast of a fighter, he was a gentle and accepting man, and a very cool guy who loved to have fun as well. Every side of him was awesome, but his confidence got the better of him.
This shows Oberyn was a good man because he could have simply told him "yes I will champion you so I can have my revenge" but instead he gives a very personal account of a past event with Tyrion so he knows that Oberyn does in fact, care about Tyrion's injustice as well.
This was one of the most powerful dialogues I've ever watched on television, and yet still I see book readers butthurt in their comments on here over the way it played out. Please, would you all stop moaning. This was incredible. Hats off to both actors, Oberyn is boss.
A. Clancularius My memory must be bad but where's the difference? Did he tell this story in another time?
A. Clancularius Yeah, probably. And yeah... I remember that in the books it had less emotion.
If I prefer a scene in the series over the same scene in the books it's usually thanks to actor play, like here =]

@@MRXDS1989
After you grow up.
Im a HUGE fan of the books over the series however some of the dialogue and screenwriting in the TV show are so superior in execution! End of the day we have them both and i'm glad for it!
“That’s just a baby” is a such a damn powerful line by Oberyn. Sometimes the simplest statements can emit such raw emotion. He gives Tyrion the validation he deserved. What I loved about Oberyn was he wasn’t just out for revenge but he saw things for how they really were, that Tyrion was wronged by his family and deserved so much better.
You have to give it to Pedro Pascal here, especially when he delivers the line: "that's just a baby". His acting, along with Peter Dinklage in this scene is absolutely excellent.
After Oberyn says "I will be your champion" and Tyrions reaction was of all sadness, relief, hope and joy all at once and Peter Dinklage conveyed that reaction of relief perfectly
'That's not a monster I told Cersie. That's just a baby.'
tyrion's face when oberyn tells him the news is amazing, absolute relief from someone who was facing a terrible and humiliating death facing the Mountain
Most powerful talking scene of the show imo.
Hogo69 best and the most impressive writing scene is the conversation betwern Tywin and Cersei's 2nd son
Of any show bro
This scene makes me so sad. You can feel Tyrion's pain through his eyes when he realises that he has always been hated by Cersei. Somehow he thought she had some kind of love for him, but now, this speech proves him
wrong
“Somehow he thought she had some kind of love for him” we always project the values and qualities we hold dear unto others. Even the ones who don’t have any.
I don't think he expected that, but I think just seeing in Oberyn mirrored how ridiculous and cruel all the abuse and discrimination he faced were, is what got him.
That scene was GLORIOUS. The chemistry between Dinklage and Pascal is incredible, their acting supreme - not only does Pedro Pascal make it clear that "The Red Viper" is a force to be reckoned with but the tension and discomfort in Peter Dinklage's face makes this scene alone his next "Emmy-moment"
And that was literally his (Pedro Pascals) first scene in the show. He is an acting force to be reckoned with
Is Tyrion crying because Oberyn showed more compassion than anyone else ever?
I don't think so, as his brother Jaime has loved him his whole life. I think he was tearing up because deep down, Tyrion has had some form of love for his sister, even though she's always hated him. It must have been difficult to hear that Cersei has always felt resentment towards him, and has always blamed him for the death of their Mother even when he was a baby.
Tyrion is in a bad spot. All of his "friends" had deserted him, the woman he loved has betrayed him and sentenced him to death. And his whole life everyone has treated him with resentment. Being so close to his imminent death has probably made him think a lot about this and feel a lot of self pity. Finally Oberyn walks in and hammers the point home that he was literally hated since birth and that his life is extremely unfair and unjust, that must have pushed him over the edge, hence him crying. Off course at the end those were tears of joy as Oberyn basically said that he was going to save Tyrion's life when Tyrion had already lost all hope.
I think it's kind of a combination of the build up from the story Oberyn just told him kind of making him feel shitty and reminding him of his lifetime of shitty treatment combining with the feeling of impending doom of the trial by combat with no champion. Then Oberyn kind of changed directions mid story kind of discrediting the world's treatment of Tyrion and then suddenly being given hope again by Oberyn's pronouncement to be his champion.
It didn't feel so much about Cersei in particular, moreso kind of an emotional release after feeling like shit from a lifetime of being mistreated, recent events, and the story and Oberyn just relieved him somewhat after all of that negative build up.
You would be crying too if everyone you have ever trusted or loved had abandoned you to your devices and a reknowned warrior, one who may be a more skilled fighter than both Jaime and Bronn, one you absolutely never expected, took up your cause. At least that's how I read into the scene. His look of elation was priceless.
I think a part of it is that he's realizing that Cersei has hated him all his life. Hearing it from somebody else - that her hatred was so intense that she couldn't even hide it from outsiders - had to hurt him so much.
“She unveils the freak.”
The way Oberyn delivered this line just kills me everytime. 😂
Regardless of what ended up happening, for this scene alone Oberyn will be remembered as my most badass fictional hero of all times.
General Doge for me the second most after Zoro
Even before season 4 of the show, Oberyn was my favorite character in all of the books.
Best acting since Ned. Wow!
And where is ned now???
In a box somewhere
Mars Fully Theon**. There is only Reek in this world now.
Who's Theon? I only know a Reek
Op Mario i think they meant the person who reek is going to pretend to be :)
I need him to live. That accent is too sexy to say goodbye to.
one of the biggest "FUCK YEA" moments in the show :D
FUCK NO
@Blackbeard This is GoT. Good and powerful guys must die. Apparently people love when justice falls.
1:35
That half lit face of Oberyn and the expression on it. His voice breaking when he says "... And what about what I want?" - The scene and the acting perfomances are just perfect
That relief on Tyrion's face in the end... =D
I remember the uproar when he was first cast, now I honestly don't think they could have cast him any better.
Who?
Cliohna People where complaining about Oberyn's casting and how his skin tone was not dark enough...
Blackt0ast
Thanks, I didn't know that. :) Skin tone....complaining on a high level, isn't it?
I cannot imagine anyone else playing Oberyn (even though I've just started the books and currently reading A Game of Thrones ) and Pedro is a great actor. Also, Dinklange was just phenomenall ALL throughout, IMO, and his performance here (and during the trial scene prior) was one of his best.
Same deal with him playing Joel.
Folks always were shitting on him before witnessing how much of a chameleon the guy can be, he can play almost every single role to perfection.
An incredible actor like him is becoming exceedingly rare these days.
I’m pretty sure George RR Martin stated that Oberyn was one of the most honorable and noblest men next to Ned it’s another reason why he died the way he did……
The 'Red Viper' is Honorable?, i suppose to a degree, just dont duel the man or you will taste his venom. lol
Ned wasn't that honourable though so not exactly a high bar
Even Ned condemned Jamie for killing his king and Tywin for murdering the children. But Robert was too hateful for Lyanna and Jon wanted to assure a peaceful transition of power.
@@oneofthosevoicesyouhear9044 why? he was honourable enough. Even dumb, at the end.
Oberyn tho, using the poison when he could totally win, is not that honourable.
@@ConradKurze he condemned Jamie for killing the king, even though he knew what he had done and would have done to his people. He let Robert believe that Rhaegar raped his sister. He hid the truth of Cersie's infidelity causing his own death and Robert's. Not to mention getting Littlefinger to bribe the City Watch. Ned was hardly honourable. The only one with less honourable is Barristan Selmy
prince oberyn stole this season, sorry tyrion.

I love the lighting in this scene. While they talk about the sad and tragic past the darkness is used on the inner side of their faces. But when Oberyn picks up the torch he has a speech of hope. A light in the dark.
Oberyn is my favourite character from this season! And by far the most interesting person in King's Landing atm.
This guy that plays Oberyn Martell is a great actor. The way he plays this is outstanding. Every word and gesture is a masterpiece. 👏 👏 👏
I wish i could forget this show and watch it all over again
Dinklage's little half sob right at the end is so good.
He's a reader. His brother is a knight. He has no doubt thought tirelessly of all the people who could possibly challenge Ser Gregor, all the people who could have a chance, all the people who would be willing to do it. And all of them he's either alienated, pissed off, or are otherwise dead/unreachable.
But then the Red Viper appears. The Red Viper, with all the anger of Dorne, and all the speed, and the cunning, and the poisons, and it hits him all at once. He has a chance.
Another Emmy scene.
Incredible moment, I never thought i would love this show again after the red wedding but i actually love it more now than ever
You'll love it even more when the season's over. Some serious shit will happen in the 3 episodes to come, better than the 3 past seasons by faaar.

Tyrion's expression when Oberyn says he will be his champion. Perfect. Almost out of breath from disbelief and trying to contain his exuberance at the same time.
"I will be your champion" gives me chills every time, no matter how many times I see it.
Oberyn actually backs out last minute and Jon Snow arrives on the back of Drogon after conquering the Summer Isles to Champion for Tyrion.
***** If you'd stuck to your first sentence I'd probably have given you +1 ... oh well...

The mountain and oberyn both die
Fa Kinn Su Pah actually they both agree to a truce but only after the Iron Bank agrees to fund their conquest of the Jade Sea.
Fa Kinn Su Pah You did read the books right? Everyone knows that Oberyn confesses that The Mountain is his lover.
Pedro's delivery of dialogue is amazing, but the way he elevates his character with body language is unparalleled
You can see Oberyn actor is teary, kinda got emotional with the script. Both him and Tyrion got teary, a part of the script kinda hit Tyrion's actor in real life, and Oberyn's actor somewhat realized it along the way.
Tyrion's face when he learns of his sister's cruelty is sad on so many levels. If it wasn't for Jaime, they may have killed each other.
Jamie stopping Cersei from cruelly pinching baby Tyrion's privates shows his compassion for his brother. And Cersei wonders where Joffrey took after? He's her x 100.
Best "2 People Talking in a Room" scene this season! Miss ya Obe!
No matter how much you watch it, Oberyn still gets his skull crushed and dies.
Damn shame, but it be like that in early GoT
Nothing more badass than the mandalorian being your champion in your trail by combat.
Speaking of which, the Mountain must join Star Wars to have a rematch with Pedro
Oberyn: "I will be your Champion"
Tyrion: *"This is the way"*
this is the way
Oberyn was one of my favorite characters from the books for what little time he was in them. They couldn't have cast the role any better. Pascal was perfect.
early seasons were sooo good... every single line
"If you want justice you've come to the wrong place." That's where there the scene begins to build up to its powerful climax, "I will be your champion."
I'm not quite sure if Tyrion interpreted it as if Oberyn was there to exact revenge on him in particular in that cell for him being a Lannister or that there's no justice anywhere in King's Landing
This scene is so powerful, both excellent acting, I love how obery says "that's not a monster that's just a baby" then his eyes look up and connect to tyrion eyes. Beautiful scene.
Best scene in game of thrones in my opinion
Might be my favorite scene in the whole show
Oberyn is really good - love the acting; he is funny and very real at the same time. I always loved tyrion so i absolutely cherish the interaction of those two guys.
Oh my God these scene has mor impact on me, then all transformer movies together. I really love you Game of Thrones ;)
I said this to all the transformer fanboys out there. So they maybe realise what good entertainment really is
Octavius I love game Game of Thrones a lot, I understand everything about it and it's amazing. but I like Transformers too, because a lot of action and scientific machines and all that stuff is really entertaining and fun to watch too. But that's just what I think though :D

emotional explosions?
Looking at Pedro's eyes when he said 'thats just a baby' give me chill.
God I love Pedro Pascal. He's such an incredible actor.
The Dialogue in this scene is just GOLD. The writer should pat himself on the back, its amazing material.
Well luckily Benioff and Weiss co-wrote the episode, so they can pat each other on the back.
selfpat?
Will Hobson Almost all if not all of the dialogue though is from the books. So they should rather pat George's back (I doubt he himself can do it).
Evija3000 I think the only material from the book this episode was the Littlefinger - Lysa scene and the Oberyn - Tyrion scene. Other than that it was all original dialogue.
Op Mario Original poster was talking about this scene not episode.
The way Oberyn says "I disagree" ... chills
Oberyn Martell was maybe the best character in the series. what a legendary performance by pedro pascal
"It was not a monster...

Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
I nearly cried with joy when I heard Oberyn say that hahaha
"That would've made things so much easier."
Ah, Tyrion. How we miss your sparkling wit ✨️
Peter pulled some deep/dark truths from his life for this scene. You can tell, it’s not just crying on command, he felt this dialog.
I always wondered if he was ok after that scene. Something about the pain in his eyes is just too real. I really hope Peter Dinklage and Pedro Pascal had a word after this scene. It must have been so tense to shoot this scene as the first one on set for Pedro
This scene made me cry. Why is this show so good? 😫 I just started watching over the last month and have been binge watching.
Tbh it made me tear up as well. What a great scene, the way Oberyn delivers that monolouge is masterful. Too bad these last few seasons have dropped off a bit.
+MikeHonchoHisself -- Oberyn was a good guy. When he said "I will be your champion"" I lost it lol

This scene is so underrated.
this was peak game of thrones.....no show will ever have this atmosphere and dialog
Pedro set himself for a lifetime of work with this season. He’s an amazing actor and this scene showed us all.
This scene is so fucking good. When this show was as its best, it was truly unlike anything else.
GoT introduced me to so many amazing actors from around the world.
The looking after saying ' before killing her too ' sends chills, because you can see the anger and hatred there
The way they play off each other even if it’s just Peter using no words but just using is eyes and clenched jaw is amazing
Pedro is a class act. This scene is powerful and very emotional . Both actors deserved awards here. Magnificent.
Legendary scene and Oberyn was a legendary fighter, dude literally killed the Mountain
Pedro Pascal is an iconic actor from Game of Thrones to The Last of Us
This scene was one of the best in the entire series. Now if only I could forget about the awkward Mountain scene in the beginning.
I hope they go in a different direction in the upcoming fight and *SPOLER ALERT* let Oberyn live.
I hope it too. Oberyn is/was one of my favorite character in GoT and ASOIAF.
But i think he will die. Just for the Storyline of House Martell. I only say 'Fire and Blood'.
I really doubt they are gonna do that, but indeed, it would be a welcome change from the books.
Johan Mendes Oh yeah. I agree with that sooo much.
they won't, the story would have to change too drastically
For christ's sake, I really had to read that even if I read the spoiler alert. Well damn it, enough youtube comments for today.
Oberyn was my favourite character in the show. They did him dirty.
"That's just a baby" is one of the best lines in the show and one of nicer things Tyrion ever hears. Oberyn was the Goat. F the Mountain!
1:02 You can see the change of emotion when he learns about that the abuse he's endured so far actually dating back to the time where he couldn't even realize it was an abuse.
