Hi Paul, thanks for the comment. The correct belt will be found on eBay by stating your make and model number. Don’t be concerned if it’s coming from Italy or Portugal. It appears lots of spares for these are found there.
I have a DCD 460 that a neighbor a few blocks down threw out on the road. I saw it and literally ran back to my house, hopped in my car and cut in front of the garbage truck one or 2 houses away before they took it to its grave. I already had a Denon stereo receiver so it was a destined score. tray barley opens but it works, wondering if this would be the same belt needed to fix?
Hi David, try checking for any parts that broke and are snagging on the tray. If not it’s probably the belt as these machines are getting old now. The belts loose there tension with age.
@@RichDavey Might have been some crud or lack of grease cause now its opening a bit better than when I last tested. Gonna order a new belt regardless while I still can, because it's inexpensive and will more than likely be needed eventually. Thanks for the reply sir.

Hello, my Dcd-1460 had the same problem, now belt is totally ruined. is it as "easy" with mine to replace the belt ? regards.
Give it a go. It sounds like a new belt will sort it
