Hafler DH 220 Power Switch & Signal Input Mod

This is a short video on the replacing the illuminated power switch with a Philmore 35-128G and replacing the signal input wires and cheap OEM jacks with higher quality Philmore 45-128G jacks and RG174U cable.

Great work - I'm contemplating on buying a Hafler DH-220. Likely it's gonna need entire recap and new rectifier given age.

Doubtful on the recap. Main reservoir caps, probably, but even those last a long time. The rectifier will also be perfectly fine although there are better faster ones out there with higher current capability, but you likely won't hear a difference.

Can you use bulk high quality RCA cable?

Since the original was just twisted pair, any shielded cable would be an improvement. I use the RG174 because it's easy to work with.
