@@echouebijoux i just got out of the hospital with lung issues and started rock hounding again. Its tough, but I still am going every weekend looking for fossils on the Great Lakes. Buckets of rocks are good therapy.
@@oldhippie2388 OOOHH are you going to go get some you-per-lites (i have no idea how to spell that) and petosky stones? i love fossils too lol there's a couple fossil vids in my playlist already and i still have to edit some footage from a lime rock mine too :D
Hi Echoue! Sanibel my happy place!! This was so so fun. Can't wait to see more. It will be a long time before it's back close to normal but still beautiful!! Can't wait to see what you make out of the the angel wing pieces. Have a great weekend!! Hugs!
I am designing a new shell bag that is specific to this walker too... i also sew a little bit tho i don't show anything like that in my videos lol! Its going to sit o stop of the bar so the shell bag is off my neck and doesn't hit me in the shins lol
The horse shoe crab would make a nice bowl for salkee shells or even bigger shells. Just have to make it a little stoger . The whelke looks like a rose. It would look great with other shells in the bowl of shells. Thank you for sharing another shelling video. Have á great day
i think i actually have an idea for it... i gotta try something out first but i have some special projects coming up with these sanibel shells that will be heading down to Sharmon at SWFBeachlife for her auction this summer ;) stay tuned!
I hope you found more than I did last week!! Can't wait to see your next chapter! I was there last Monday and was so sad to see that all 3 of my favorite places were totally GONE! Castaways, Beachview Cottages, and Mitchells Sandcastles. Baileys is still closed as well as the restaurant in front of it. I think it was George & Wendy's? I did find a lot of beautiful scallops (even some grey and white ones) Egg cockles, and added quite a few fighting conchs to my collection. Glad you found some angel wings!!
OMG we found some great stuff already and we haven't even gotten to the crazy pile paw yet! Many more fun things to find I promise! And yes - it is definitely disorienting right now from what we are used to , seeing all the condors fenced off and businesses closed and jeez there's still boats sunk in the water and others in the mangroves - it was quite something to see. But with the beaches empty, shelling wise there isn't as many folks out there looking so we wended up with a pretty good haul too :D
You're so inspiring. I love these shelling videos. Missing FL so much.
Thank you so much! I am happy to share my beach passion with everyone, it's so much fun to share these cool beach outings!
I love that nothing is stopping you.
Thank you! I encourage anyone with mobility issues to try beach PT - I am a huge believer in it!
