    Hello there!
    My name is Fenna van den Berg, I am a certified coach and counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years.
    Having been through episodes of Limerence, I have "earned my stripes" to help others with their recovery. I understand the obsession and suffering of Limerence. My passion is being able to share with you, and all limerents, a guided-way forward on your journey of healing. We do this through discovering and practicing self-love and compassion. As someone who has suffered through limerence, I have developed effective coaching for people with limerence. My Coaching has helped countless have a more purposeful life, and I want to help you. We will work together, so that you may have a life more in line with your values and integrity.
    Together, we are blossoming a community of friendly people with the same debilitating feelings and experiences of Limerence. Here, we share with, support, and nurture each other in giving love to ourselves, perhaps for the first time.
    When you’re ready to end your pain and suffering from seeking the "Other," I’m here to guide you in recognizing your true lovable self, with compassionate teaching, counseling and also private coaching.

    I know this is what I need to do. A part of me that is unhealed wants to remain unrealized. I have been working on this for a while.

    My tech is decluttered too. Phone and computers full of emails, apps, and documents I need to organize better or don't need at all. 😅

    Thank you Fenna. I need to declutter my life. I am a hoarder by nature and keep everything. I am afraid to lose stuff, afraid to delete emails too. There was a lot of content in this video so I am going to re-watch it / re-listen to it again.

    Yes we need to be proactive and do those things on our to-do lists. Be social and get outside a bit. I just tune into this channel to see Fenna and her wonderful home. I could actually fall into limerence with Fenna. LOL!

    I have a question. And maybe you can do a video on this. How to end a "relationship" with someone who is limerent for YOU. In my case, it is the distance. The other is limerent for me, I'm not willing to close the gap and pushing someone away can make them want you even more. And I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Thank you!

    • @followingfenna
      @followingfenna  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Be VERY clear. That's something completely different than pushing someone away.
      " I don't want to be with you and I don't want to move for you " being clear is the biggest thing you can do for them.

    Hi Fenna
    I’ve noticed you repeat a lot that the limerant and LO are highly incompatible. I guess it’s based in attachment theory and one person being more anxious and the other avoidant. My question is who actually is a compatible partner for the avoidant person? If as human beings we are wired for connection and closeness who wants a partner who keeps you at arm’s length emotionally or refuses to get closer than at a superficial level?

    • @followingfenna
      @followingfenna  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      No one wants a partner like that. Limerence is not only linked to attachment styles but in general to obstacles, sometimes the avoidant attachment of the other is one of the obstacles. Having a secure dating partner is always the healthy choice and also work on your own issues.
      The avoidant is self sabotaging so there is no ' perfect ' fit. Its difficult for the avoidant to maintain a long term relationship. They will have to do some healing work.
