I would say that simply asking the "victim" to repeat how she felt and what she told to the "torturers" would "clear the misunderstanding", but they need a Terran lawyer for that xD
Honestly one of the things we do as a species that we do without even thinking. 😅 well happens all the dang time to me; befriended everything from lizards to a cheetah..
Great stories; Excellent narration! 1st story - There is nothing more evil in the galaxy than a lawyer...well maybe a politician!!! LOL!!! 2nd story - When humanity has to "restore" from the universal backup! (sorry for the bad IT joke...) 🙂
@@nela9994 Wait, doesn't this just solve a bunch of problems in the Warhammer 40K universe for the Imperium? Just put an outpost no more than 38,000 light years from Terra in an area of the galaxy with the least amount of electromagnetic sources (like stars) between Terra and that outpost, and then just record all transmission data from that time onwards. You won't get everything, but it should offer some serious info about the Dark Age of Technology and the times before.
Now that first story rings so true it must have happened sometime LOL Because I can totally see a man fleeing across the galaxy just to get away from a shrew. Second story: you never know who you might inspire.
The second story had an interesting omission ...they were 200 light years apart, radio waves would take 200 years....one way. The messages received would be 200 years old. A lot can happen in 200 years.
I thought for sure the 2nd story would end with a massive techno advanced human fleet arriving just after the last transmission, saying they had perfected FTL and defeated the xenos 100 years ago. 10 years ago, they detected your civ. 5 years ago they decided to visit. And here we are.
1st story made me giggle. 😊 still listening to the 2nd. Ok I like the stories that have our media travelling out into the stars and making a positive infuluence.

Greetings, Mentlegent! For the Rhyhtm that is Algo Story 1: I laughed at the references, then felt sorry for the poor soul when Karen found him Story 2: For once, aliens save us, instead
That's one determined (divorce?) lawyer. I can see why he fled so far and was happy for the interrogation. Maybe not a like mind, but at least a receptive, appreciative and friendly one. And they travelled 200 light years in just 6 years, a speed of 33.3 times the speed of light. Not bad.
That second story is sweet but I'm just imagining that the Togino became the keepers of knowledge and the humans became users of such knowledge.... and the concerning amount of r34 Togino that is making it way into the archives and would eventually create it own library of archives 😂
ai build upon what we already know ( on how the world and what we create out of that world works ) unless it can think for itself and learn something new on itself it will not go beyond us at all. if it does not have that imagination to notice a new thing ( which we don't already know about ) i mean. however it can be pretty advanced where it can be given rules to follow (meaning this and this must happen for this other thing to happen and here's what we know what happens when this shape is applied to it ) so if it can find different more efficient ways with the rules given to it it's pretty good. i wonder what would happen if you told it the rule to focus on fractal shapes for the thing that should be made. and what about using magnets for the moving parts so they don't need to touch anything at all ? less friction when moving ( meaning suspended moving parts )
"Worse. A Lawyer."
I would have booked it right there. Interrogation is over, I'm out.

1st story - Darn, he didn't get far enough away. 2nd story - Long distance friendships in the universe can indeed pay off.
okay, the first one should have ended with the Terran finally shouting: Nooooo! Please! Don't send me back, I beg of you!
It can be safely assumed.
I'll tell you everything you want to know ! ! ! 😂 😂 😂
A writer's worst sin is to tell the reader something he already knows 😉
"We are here to avenge OUR Humans.."
Humans listening: "Oh, I like where this is going."
Accidentally pack bonded to a hivemind without ever knowing

Greatest weapon in the galaxy.... Lawyers.
I love how humanity inspires people

Politician is the evolved form of a lawyer.
@@TJCID22 Or the devolved form of a lawyer. These days, it could be either/or or both.
Huh, and using the vastness of space as the storage medium. Using FTL drives to get ahead of the broadcast wave, and record a copy of the broadcast.
Lawyer, Politicion, Reporter, Fed Beureaucrat... The 4 Jackasses of the appocolypse.

Bravo Sir Encore! The first, I've been through a divorce, never thought about skin treatments and a massage though!

NO! Not the comfy chair!

When the archivists strike back XD Its really nice of them to record everything and still think we're a nice Species :D
Sadly I suppose applying for asylum would not work? The 2nd. Trying to help future victims of aggression. But it led to our own survival

Second storyb have my goosebumps at the end
That second story was pretty good 👍🏼
Excellent stories, may I have Ms Gutierrez number in case I need a shark...er lawyer?
For me the first story was kind of a dud, but the 2nd story was awesome.
God I hope they're not cruel enough to turn him over to the lawyer.
I do believe that the Vs in the author's name are meant to be Us... Noobus Aeternum.
"Noob for eternity" if my latin isn't too rusty.
Early yay. Lol

A hive mind, on the side of Humanity, for once. Not bad.
It's not "waterboarding" if you use motor oil.
