There has to be a sequel. To whole movie evolves around Alita her recovering lost memories and finding out who she was, is and wants to be, and the awesome movie ends with a cliffhanger - the staredown between Alita and Nova, both got to know who she really is. It felt like a showdown in a match, an unfair but epic quest for justice. Moreso, Alita is a hommage to the Human Nature, with all its flaws and glory. On the one hand, she is nothing more than a brain in an awesome tech suit, like Iron Mans Armor with artificial organs. But on the other hand, she's the most human being in a world deprived of humanity in its literal and metaphorical sense. Humans loose body parts and law and morale like it's nothing, just replaces all with technology and hope for the best. And then there's Alita, or Yoko which was here original name in her organic body. So sweet, loving, helpful, resourceful, altruistic and idealistic, like the embodiment of goodness. It can't just stop here, not when the audience and in a sense Alita herself is in awe about what's next to come. This movie is a START of a loving fighter, not a standalone adventure about a cyborg recovering some biographic data files. Make it happen. There will be people who pay, people who enjoy, people who dream with this wonderful piece of art. Make it happen.

Sierra 117, This is our Land, This is the Hour, Follow Our Brothers, Behold a Pale Horse, Halo Reborn, Mjolnir Mix, Peril, and Flawed Legacy. While i do enjoy the music from battle angel, i just think Martin O Donnell's style fits better with the setting and action of the movie. Hope this list was useful.

One day they might realize that the core of a true cult film is its synchronicity with the score. Just like they might realize that western audiences don't need to be catered for and lead by the hand through storytelling from other cultures. Maybe, and never.
This soundtrack is so epically good that I had to import the CD from Japan. It has 3 extra tracks missing from the domestic release: Swan Song, Centurion and I See Church.
This movie is one of the best movies ever, I hope there would be a second and third ones for it, as it truly has much emotions and honesty. Feeling in love with Alita. If you are real, wow. anyway, you are real to me in my heart.

The Alita's composer is one of the biggest fan of the Godzilla's Franchise and He compose the last Godzilla movie Godzilla vs Kong, and the tracks are awesomes. Long live the Kaiju King and the Battle Angel !

It is a common practice to put bonus tracks in a Japan domestic release of an international album. Their domestic CDs are much more expensive, so Japanese often import CDs from the US or UK at half the cost. Studios put in bonus tracks as an incentive to get people to buy their domestic CDs instead of importing.
It could be because it is an ode specifically to Japan because the original Alita was made in Japan anyways. It's like a way of saying "Thank you" to the Japanese for the inspiration.
The percussion is very similar to BvS and Mad Max: Fury Road, that is to create your own style. Tom, you are the most, what I like the most about your Soundtracks is the percussion that is very powerful.
