My parents and I actually really enjoyed this movie very much. In my opinion it wasn't as bad as many people claimed it to be. What I liked is that it taught a valuable lesson about forgiveness and telling the truth. I know that there are other movies that have pulled that off much better, but I liked it anyway. Though my favorite X-men movies in the series will always be Logan and Days of Future Past. There is one thing everyone can agree on is that the soundtrack for this movie was excellent! " , the best kind of experience u could ask, went to see a movie with no expectation at all and saw a great piece of movie, later on here i am trying to find this music that hook me on
Keyz Smith Disney had no say in the production of this movie, it was produced completely by Fox. And what do you mean by joke fest? Last I checked a franchise that impacted the film industry like the MCU has is unprecedented
It is so powerful! When the power of the melody grows, heart beats like crazy. In the film, the jet of X-men took off under this music, this moment was so beautiful.
2:44 "Ladies and gentlemen of NASA, this is the voice of Charles Xavier. Could somebody please apprise me of the situation?" ... "Not to worry, Mission Control. Help is on the way."
The music is PERFECT for dark pheonix, Hans zimmer=master of music. He can take any movie scene and connect it to music, thereby enhancing its atmospheric quality, AND improve the movie itself just through music. The guy's a genius.
Critics shat on this movie too hard. It definitely had its flaws but it was still very enjoyable and of course, Hans Zimmer’s score added even more flavor to the movie.
It had the same general pitfalls that most of the X-Men movies have, but when it was good it was good. The action scenes were good, any scene where Jean lost her shit was good, Jean herself looked great (kinda important to make sure that a main character does-- looking at you Party City Mystique!), and it was overall an enjoyable film. Honestly, I kinda feel like the X-Men movies as a series should be viewed and treated like rough stand-alone films. They have continuity but not to the point where it feels like a mostly flawless universe like what the MCU has pulled off, and with how many time the series has been rebooted there isn't a real timeline between all the movies. All of them should honestly just be enjoyed on their own, which makes the series easier to watch because you don't find yourself wondering 'Where did this character go? Where did this dude come from? Is that ANOTHER actor-- what happened to the second one?! Why does this character look so different? Why did they age so much in 15 years when they went 20+ years without aging at all?' etc. . . In the end, it's not really the end of the franchise. It's getting rebooted like it has numerous times in the past, and hopefully this time it will stick and create a version of the X-Men that people won't be so eager to shit on.
2:00 - 5:00 sounds so good I love it because it’s triumphant, it’s giddy, it makes you feel like this is a real x-men adventure and they are going to do something amazing
GHØSTBYTE They could yes but definitely doesn’t deserve the hate they all get especially this last film. It wasn’t as bad as everyone makes it seem and was even better than apocalypse in my opinion
There's more than just the soundtrack. Acting, action and VFX were all excellent. Story was a little messy and pacing was off, but the character's were well written for the most part.
@@kbg12ila Honestly what acting? it was alright but nothing special. I will say one great thing and it's a spoiler. Mystique dies early on, so there's no Jennifer Lawrence dragging the film down from that point onwards, i'm not lying when i say that everyone on the theater were cheering when that happened;)
This theme really fit this younger XMen. Captures how dysfunctional people with different agendas and beliefs can still unite over a cause. That, is essentially X-Men.

This song gives me the chills every time I hear it! The parts that starts around 1:12, 2:00, 3:17 are so powerful!
Hi I love this movie. It is my favorite movie out of all the xmen movies

I really enjoyed this film, and this score is wonderful.
The most interesting part of the movie for sure, when I don't care about what's on the screen I let this recurring melody sink into my head
I completely agree. The soundtrack was definitely the best part of the movie.
Same when the part of the soundtrack hits at 2:00 it got stuck on my head on my way home and first thing I did was looking for this piece of art by Hans Zimmer.

One of my greatest regrets is that Hans Zimmer and Thanos never had an opportunity to meet each other.
Alan Silvestry did a damn good job with the soundtrack of the Avengers movies tho
Yeah but Thanos didn’t even have a theme (or at least a memorable one) which is a shame. All the iconic villains have a theme. Thanos deserved a good theme

You just had to bring up the MCU didnt you?
I don't know if any piece of music has so perfectly captured the feel of a movie as much as this. Hanz Zimmer is a true genius.
idk why critics gone so hard on this movie, were they expecting another endgame ? the movie was amazing, i went to see it thinking "well its gonna be bad but whatever lets watch it anyway" and then the first 20min i was like "hmm this is not bad" , and i kept asking myself during the movie " wtf this is not bad, why everybody were saying this movie is bad? " , the best kind of experience u could ask, went to see a movie with no expectation at all and saw a great piece of movie, later on here i am trying to find this music that hook me on

This movie deserves a director cut.
Hans Zimmer is a God of Music!
Critics shat on this movie too hard. It definitely had its flaws but it was still very enjoyable and of course, Hans Zimmer’s score added even more flavor to the movie.
It was a disappointment as a stand alone film Id put it lower than first class AS THE ENDING TO THE X MEN FRANCHISE:
IT IS SHIT
Except dark phoenix is spam, you literally cant do anything special with it
2:00 - 5:00 sounds so good
I love it because it’s triumphant, it’s giddy, it makes you feel like this is a real x-men adventure and they are going to do something amazing
1:54 ... I can't deal with it, it's out of this world.

This theme really fit this younger XMen. Captures how dysfunctional people with different agendas and beliefs can still unite over a cause. That, is essentially X-Men.
