Am I the only one who understood the movie-what writers, producers&directors r trying to portray&send a deeper message than the entertainment value that the movie had attained? I liked the movie & after listening to these great tracks by Hans Zimmer, it helped me to understand. What they r trying to send across is that LOVE is the only way to CONTROL POWER. Mankind felt & tasted LOVE, but had yet to FULLY comprehend it,just like most sciences despite our advances. Love is the HIGHEST DIMENSION that exists, for beyond the level of evolution that we had attained over 5000 yrs of recorded history. Love is that which compels us to act,to save & defend those who Love us & those we love,as had been the way our Civilization evolved. Phoenix was abandoned by her father&others who do not understand or help her, & had every reason to hate Mankind,& could have selfishly give up her powers to another so as to live a normal life. But because she felt the love & kindness growing up by others, she made a choice,to use those powers to save & help others. Thus the moral of the movie - Power of love,is how to control extra-ordinary powers, which exists in ALL Humanity,by the power to INFLUENCE another, for good,or sadly, for bad.
Smart guy, yet we as humans struggle too fully understand LOVE ourselves like Jean did, self sacrifice was her greatest act of love. But with such incredible power it's hard too control it because of our human emotions and desires and maintaing control under such challenges remains an ongoing battle one mistake and it's over you end up hurting the ones you love. Yet beautifully done .
@@FranFFXII Thanks for your thoughtful insights. No mortal is perfect,we ALL make mistakes in order to learn & progress,as had been since millennia. Never, ever subscribe to the belief & fear of making mistakes or that one mistake made is life over. If we Mankind did not mistakes,we would not had existed today. It is through acknowledging & correcting mistakes courageously did we progressed. Since young, we were taught right&wrong, socialized growing up,& know through mistakes what appeals&what does not appeal to others, thus the opportunity to find true lasting friendships. No Human is born out of a vacuum. No matter how lonely one feels, there exist those who loved us as well as those we love. If the World does not gives second chances to those who make mistakes, it'll be those who loved us that will do so, so long as one is honest & sincere in acknowledging & correcting mistakes, which sets in a chain sequence of gaining trust from others. Dark Phoenix may be only a movie, but it has more substances to it that Humankind can relate to, if they are willing to share & discuss the deeper underlaying simple message.
As an Empath. I understand. I loved this movie despite its mixed reviews. Because I saw a deeper and darker yet brighter message being sent. It is not about perfection. it is about perception. Only another mutant would understand what I am trying to say. We already exist. :)
@Ale Alejandro Yes. That was one of the few gems of Dark Phoenix that I really, really liked. (also, I didn't think it was a trash movie, it was pretty cool throughout, it just wasn't the best X-Men movie. But I've seen plenty of enjoyable movies that weren't technically "good."(: )
@Ale Alejandro Would you agree that it would be easier to control behavoir than the emotion itself? I think that emotions are raw energy and you cannot control it. But you can control the behavoir. Talk a walk instead of smashing something when you feel the need to blow of steam for example
The secret is that you have to embrace your emotions, feel them entirely, accept them, let them go through your body. They give you power only if you let them be.
the scene in the train plus the music in the background is totally breathtaking the power of our phoenix is shown as incomensurable it exceeds the imagination and beyond that nothing can stop such a potential
This has to be one of my most favourite soundtracks to a film of all time. I remember when I was in the theatre watching this movie and this started play, man I have never gotten so many chills and goosebumps in my life 😅

I loved the film despite it being hated. I felt like it needed its second movie , but we all know what happend. There’s too much leak footage of what they were originally working on. But anyways, the music was great and they adapted it well with each scene, so if you like the soundtrack then you clearly like how it was adapted in the scenes. I definitely know the story needed work but again, there’s a lot missing from what it was originally intended . For more info check the interviews that Chris Clairmont has made about the films.
Actually Disney made Fox reshoot almost the entire movie because they said it looked like Captain Marvel... imagine an stablished character in Comics and pop culture like Phoenix having to be backed up because Disney can't stand a character being better developed than theirs.
@@andreaquino5596 Disney is trash. Everyone for some reason says everything they buy they make better. @@eliotforbes7349 Meh if they had have gone on instead of that rubbish ending in where Professor X kills everyone, she could have brought Raven back to life.
I hated Raven's "holier than thou" BS. She left Charles shot and paralysed on the beach, then went off to become a killer assassin and murder the President and start a war. Charles creates world peace and makes the Xmen an international symbol of peace and hope. "You're the villain here Charles. Maybe we should call it Xwomen". Was so relieved she died halfway through. And Beast having a sad and going evil about it. Drama babies. But man I loved "maxed level" Xmen team. I hadn't realised how much they've sucked in all the previous movies. This one they were a well oiled, cohesive super hero team. Smoking aliens, rescuing astronauts. I -loved- it. Cyclops and Nightcrawler were stand out awesome. I'd love if they had've done another one with the drama calmed down and the Xmen just being an amazing mutant commando team.
Wasn't the best movie theyve produced but certainly wasn't the worst, for me last stand still holds that title lol, problem was Disneys takeover damaged what was, supposed to be the start of something different with them, and dark phoenix did feel different but sadly the takeover meant they had to find a way to end it even though it was meant to kick-start the next lot of xmen films

Some of this belongs in a horror movie LOL Like 5:38 could totally be played when Satan walks in the room. Imagine hearing Angels pray because they’re so terrified. After all, he is more powerful than all of the Angels, but he’s not more powerful than my Husband I mean God..
@@JustinWilliams-ed2ug Are you 12? "Obscure"? So you are the target audience for the movies, a completely ignorant fool. It is far from obscure It isn't my anything. I didn't create the story. Comics, however, are the foundation of these stories.. That aside, even the cartoons everyone remembers which led to the movies kept that very fact intact. It's like making a movie making superman not from Krypton but having gotten bittern by something. It's that ridiculous. Your entire narrative is based on a movie decision. You are most definitely not an X-Men fan or had any knowledge of it growing up. it doesnt change what the Phoenix is lol! Hans Zimmer is the best I swear I love all his music
A lot people complain about ads. So let me notice something.
If this video showed up ads to you, those profits are go straight to Hans Zimmer and creators.
Like i wrote in description, this channel is not monetized.
If you liked my edit and working, Donation and supporting are very helping for my future working.
Thanks for listening this! And this is the one of the most favorite edit work so far for me too.
Would love to donate if it meant getting an MP3 of this. Even if you don't own any part of the track, surely you would be able to distribute if it counts as a remix.
@Mr. Hollidayy Asterfank doesn't. It is done through Google AdSense without the input of the uploader. Within description on a PC you can see directly to where:

@Asterfank glad that your remix now appears as first on "dark phoenix" search results! Congrats!
Oh well as long as the song writer is getting credit that isn't so bad.
Asterfank Best thing to do is subscribe to youtube monthly. Dont get adverts no more. Worth it.
Sometimes I felt ashamed growing up. My sister once said I was weird. But I have revelled in it. Thinking of composing for fun. I love these songs
11:35 till end is pure ethereal
It’s my favorite part too
It hypnotizes you for real
The movie might not have been too great but she definitely is one marvel’s greatest characters
I like her character and I thought the movie was pretty okay
I actually thought the film was great.
Yeah and she's treated like an after thought
With Jean Grey being one of THEE most powerful mutants...this does her some justice. Because Marvel casuals have no idea just how powerful Jean Grey is.
Yes🎉
This song is my favourite by far 5:46.
Hans zimmer is such a good composer, like woah.
Extraordinary music by Hans Zimmer! Thanks so much Asterfank for sharing this. The final at 11:30 is so intense it's almost unbearable! Out-of-Time, Out-of-this-world & Trendless-fashionless eternal piece of Music, the one that will outlive its composer for a thousand years and beyond!
Smart guy, yet we as humans struggle too fully understand LOVE
ourselves like Jean did, self sacrifice was her greatest act of love.
Emperor Jahrome We do indeed. It’s difficult for those who are untrained and have no mentor.
We do! But MCUtards dont and we will never get a serious Phoenix film again.
"Your emotions make you weak."
"No.
My emotions make me strong."
@Ale Alejandro Yes. That was one of the few gems of Dark Phoenix that I really, really liked. (also, I didn't think it was a trash movie, it was pretty cool throughout, it just wasn't the best X-Men movie. But I've seen plenty of enjoyable movies that weren't technically "good."(: )
@Ale Alejandro Think about what you could achieve without emotions blocking you. No fear, no remorse, no guilt only pure logic and Efficiency
They give you power only if you let them be.
your emotional make you brutal
When Hans Zimmer is on the helm, you can guarantee the soundtrack will send you shivers...
This whole soundtrack is amazing
the scene in the train plus the music in the background is totally breathtaking the power of our phoenix is shown as incomensurable it exceeds the imagination and beyond that nothing can stop such a potential
The only way to listen to this master piece is through headphones you will pick up every atom of sound,
At full volume. Its perfect
This has to be one of my most favourite soundtracks to a film of all time. I remember when I was in the theatre watching this movie and this started play, man I have never gotten so many chills and goosebumps in my life 😅
Absolutely obsessed with this score, and I haven't even watched this movie yet, definitely one of my favorite Hans Zimmer music all time
Hans killing it once again. The score is one of the few reasons I continue to watch this movie. I even stick around through the end credits. Luv it…
"Your emotions make you weak"
"No....... You're wrong my emotions make me strong"
The beginning is giving me literal chills 😤
No matter the quality of Dark Phoenix on screen, the movies always come through with great theme music!
This song makes my imagination so more vivid. Yellow, orange, red, and gold encroach my mind when I listen to this masterpiece. Zimmer is a true artist
Listening to the soundtrack makes me watch the movie again and again. Anyone else?
5:50 my favorite part
I agree with you
The vocals !! 😭
Throughout the movie I was like "Damn, I'm really digging the music score" I see in the end credits that music was done by Hans Zimmer, like "Ah! That's why it's amazing! haha"
My sentiments EXACTLY! 😆

This movie makes you want to be like the phoneix in life be all love hate and anger in one
Hans just nailed it, finally made a signature tune for Dark phoenix.
i really hope there is a dark phoenix 2 bro like she is obviously alive on the last clip of the movie she was flying in the sky , she probably doesn’t want to come back because she doesn’t want to hurt them but omg she is litterally so powerful she doesn’t even have to look at you to kill you bro it’s so crazy i love her 😍😍
Felt this so much but Xmen is a Disney property now so its unlikely that we will get another Dark Phoenix solo film :/. I hope that if they do bring Jean Grey into the MCU that they keep Sophie Turner/Jonas bc she was killer in that role.
Bro u pulled me out of my depression
@@silvertoes6529 Hells yeah. Plus Sophie's sexy as hell. I thought the acting was okay from most but I wish they solved the whole "Magneto is Peter's dad" thing.
@@wiinterflowers4277 that would require them to have some sense of respect for continuity...
@@wiinterflowers4277 no they wouldnt, mcu will not make magneto is qs and s witch father, because they will take references to 2015 comic that says magneto is not qs and wanda father, but i hope they will take references to the original xmen comic
Everytime I look up in the sky this music plays in my head.
Your not the only one that can hear it :)
Hans Zimmer creates the best soundtracks.
The movie feels good just because of this soundtrack.
"Look at what they did to my boy" that's how I feel when I see the new star wars....and just about every marvel movie that turned into GOTG humor styled movies after 2012. Idek wtf I'm watching half the time. I went back to books anyways. Even comics went downhill lol. Things are so different now
Yes, if dark phoenix is release before that sucks movie cpt marvel it will be great movie, the story of both movie are similar.
@@mojosiesta9821 you know mcu, they will make everythings that not originaly from mcu sucks, so what are you hoping? Just get ready to see xmen get beated by the avengers, FUCK DISNEY

Hans Zimmer is just UNMATCHED! Goosebumps for daaaays 🤤🙌🏾🔥
*A entity that managed to created all life in the multiverse... Beautiful*
I really love how jean protected her "family".
ME TOO
Because they are family - domnic torreto
30 minutes earlier she injured and killed half of her "family"💀😭
Marred only by her unintentional killing of Raven/Mystique -😭
@@eliotforbes7349 Meh if they had have gone on instead of that rubbish ending in where Professor X kills everyone, she could have brought Raven back to life.
Now I need a 12 hr version of this
put it on loop, right click
From here 7:08 to 9:58 i can sense Zimmer's Interstellar spirit has returned
Sounds like inception too
I don't understand why this movie is getting so much shit on it. Apparently its supposed to be the worst Xmen movie but I loved it.
@No Name lol
No Name it’s not the characters fault tho it’s shitty writing
I also thought the movie was great. I hope history is kinder to it than the contemporary critics and MCU zealots were.
This Hans is so freaking good into getting the essence of a movie and translating it to music - it is unreal. Evrry soundtrack is worth its weight in gold and i am so SO fortunate to have heard it. Weather its is batman, Superman, Spiderman or this X-men... tHANK YOU
Hans, Zimmer is nothing short of a musical genius. God bless everyone involved with this phenomenal upload.
The powerful image is the best. Dark Phoenix's energy and suspenseful sound are wonderful.
Wow this cello explosion is just insanelly amazing. Love it! Another masterpiece by Hans Zimmer 🔥
Some of this belongs in a horror movie LOL
Like 5:38 could totally be played when Satan walks in the room. Imagine hearing Angels pray because they’re so terrified. After all, he is more powerful than all of the Angels, but he’s not more powerful than my Husband I mean God..

Please everyone get it straight The Phoenix is an independent entity, it isn't Jean Grey and enjoy the music, it's awesome.
The Phoenix isn't Jean Grey any more than Batman is an alien if a movie was made making him an alien. Get over it
@@EarlRegent you know it costs nothing to not be a dick? Just say "The phoenix and Jean Grey are in fact 2 different beings" and be done with it, don't get annoyed if people say otherwise. Just enjoy the movie/music and stop getting mad at people for not caring as much as you do, because it'll get you nowhere.
@@Tyblimp Have you been reading? My initial comment was light hearted. It was the commentator above that started behaving in a hostile manner and I responded to him.
This version of Phoenix is the embodiment of Jean’s repressed pain and anger.
@@agentofchaos7456 It's a complete departure from everything every X-Men fan knows and grew up with. It's like making Optimus Prime a Washing machine. You guys don't understand, the Phoenix entity is a very relevant entity, it is the source of all psionic energy. It has possessed 14 people. Its a major major entity and to make it Jean Grey is utterly absurd.
I am obsessed with this mix. Been listening to it forever!!

No, bring me fassbender and McCavoy
