In multiple interviews, James Cameron, Robert Rodriguez and Jon Landau stated that the original script by Cameron was too long and had to be trimmed down, and that's pretty much all Rodriguez did with the script, he didn't go as far as "rewriting the entire thing". Plus the reason Cameron didn't visit the set so often was because he trusted Rodriguez to be competent, or why would he give Alita, his dearest project for a decade, to him?
3 years man... This movie was incredible. Probably in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Yeah it has its flaws, but what a ride this movie was bro... I pray we see Alita on the big screen someday again.

First, we hear nothing more than a battle music, with hard basses This is Alita's past as a soldier Then we hear calm, heroic orchestral music It represents Alita's peaceful time with Ido and Hugo, as she is not fully aware of who she is, down to her body being too fragile and not fitting her persona Then we hear a mix between hard basses and orchestral music, representing Alita finaly discovering herself (by merging The Warrior persona and Alita persona). Basses in this part sound less straightforward and badass, and more heroic, as well as orchestra sounds more aggressive. This is how you make an ost!!

I notice more so that this amazing composition is similar to another incredible piece of work from Mr Junkie XL. I just bought myself a new 7.2 surround system nothing too crazy just enough to get the room shaking. The motorball scene came on and I felt that shit. I swear I was in the movie myself. This soundtrack really made me appreciate the movie a lot more. I truly hope they make a sequel

I just bought myself a new 7.2 surround system nothing too crazy just enough to get the room shaking. The motorball scene came on and I felt that shit. I swear I was in the movie myself. This soundtrack really made me appreciate the movie a lot more. I truly hope they make a sequel
