      IMO even if we get dirt cheap electricity (remember that we are going to ne to double our electrical generating capacity if we go all electric cars) we will use the electricity to make synthetic gasoline and diesel. Looks amazing but if they could put that much effort into actual quality control that would be great. It’s like a child assembled these vehicles and painted them as well.

    Excited to see electric vehicles to grow so that gas stations begin to turn into electric stations. Then maybe I would consider getting a Tesla if I ever get a car in the future.

    Is the footage at 2:17 recent? I wan wondering if they're expanding the Nevada gigafactory.

    • @davidanalyst671
      @davidanalyst671 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think so. Elon seems pretty happy ramping up battery production in nevada to make all the battery packs for freemont. Dont forget that freemont has basically tripled the number of completed cars from that one factory, so nevada has also tripled the number of batteries. I honestly dont know why he doesn't turn it into the gigafactory monster that it should be, because he has the cash for it. I do know that there are unverified reports of tesla using a building close to the nevada giga to start piecing together tesla semi's. Originally he said they would have carbon fiber pieces, and its a completely different vehicle, so there is a LOT of testing to be done

    48 hours from aluminum sheets to finished car. It doesn't mean that much by itself, anyone know what the comparable number would be from Toyota, VW, Ford or similar? I mean, of course it's fast, but when producing the F-150, I'd imagine it must be a similar time for production to keep up with demand?
