Burning Energy | Let's School - Part 3 (School Simulator)

Let's School continues and Headmaster Betty delivers a speech so amazing, so inspiring, that many of our students are quite literally burning with extra energy! No, really, they seem to have a sort of weird flame around them.
With our second semester underway we build a new classroom and welcome in a whole new year of students, and of course a new teacher! The newcomer does have to go on a bit of a training course to become better at managing all the kids but that's not too much of a bother.
Our second semester students get a fun trip out as we go on a bit of a scientific field trip! We analyse some water and we see a man performing some sort of alleged exorcism on someone else, but how will the children deal with the situation?
Also we make the toilets bigger, we have to deal with some high temperatures and we unlock the first bit of reform research.

In Let’s School, you take on the role of a principal tasked with the challenge of revamping and managing your alma mater! The game features two core mechanics: the construction and designing of the school and managing the dynamics of students and teachers.
Each student has unique interests and aspirations, making your role as headmaster more complex. Balancing factors like your school's reputation, satisfying students' basic needs, overseeing academic pressure, and managing aspects like clothing, food, and travel provide an immersive and challenging experience. Aside from the usual responsibilities of a headmaster, you are also tasked with managing various issues that originate outside the school, including mysterious dangers and potential threats that might cause things to go bananas!
The architectural design of the school is a blank canvas for the player. With the freedom to plan and construct various functional facilities and access to hundreds of educational equipment, you define your institution's aesthetic and practical landscape. Don't limit yourself to horizontal expansion - think vertically by constructing multi-story buildings for more innovative developments or even eccentric structures!
The fate of teachers and students lies in your hands. The recruitment process, teaching methodologies, and personal growth of teachers and students rest on your decisions. Enhancing the skills of your teachers opens up opportunities for them in different roles. You can influence student morale and academic performance by offering elective courses, thereby shaping their future life paths.
The management of school discipline is another crucial responsibility. Be mindful of the impact of school facilities on student morale, and beware of signs of student distress. Overeating in the canteen could lead to weight gain, while an increase in eyeglass usage could signal excessive stress. Proper access to sanitary facilities is vital, as a lack thereof may lead to widespread anxiety and misuse of the school premises.
To maintain discipline, monitor for contraband among students and establish an effective punishment system. Handling real-time crises such as truancy, bullying, and questioning also falls within your responsibilities.
Fostering a balanced school environment through field days, morning exercises, and various events could help students regulate their emotions. Let’s School is a game of management, strategy, and decision-making, where every choice you make has far-reaching consequences!

I always enjoy your commentary! The homeroom teacher just does the early morning session before all the classes start and provide the management score for the classroom. All the class slots on the schedule are taught by the subject area specialist teachers. So Ms. Lin manages your second grade classroom before classes start and then goes off to teach anything that's in a humanities slot. So if you stagger you can have one teacher teach all the humanities in two rooms because while science is being taught in one room, humanities is being taught in another.

Yeah I was thinking that, make the two classrooms not have the same subject concurrently so you reduce your staffing needs.

Hi Mr penge! Im sure you put the humanities and trigonometry objects in the new classroom but didnt put them in the year 2 classroom so they may not be getting the added benefits of these items in that room 😊

As far as I understand it( I started playing after the first video!) The training potential is like a bank of points that gets used up as they train. You can send them on a field trip to get more training potential points :)

I have not had the training potential increase on any of my teachers. So I stopped hiring persons with low training potential - but perhaps the shop you found on the dispatch map is the solution

It costs a lot, not really worth using for the first teaching recruits. At a certain point in the game you’re better off to dismiss the low potential staff you started with and train up the ones you get with a higher level school. The increased training is I think about 30000 and you can only do it once a year so it’s cheaper to just start with higher level staff

🍎🍏🌭🌭 The school is looking good. You could assign that "wandering teacher" to the food truck and let her relieve the guy who works there when he needs a break. Then when the cafeteria arrives there might be a spot for her there. Just a little suggestion.

You could have swapped homeroom teachers, so that Ms Lin, the teacher with the highest management was teaching the bigger class...then you could have accepted the additional students... 🙂

You can look at any student’s inventory through their profile, in the tab with the ℹ️ symbol. You passed through it at 26:08! You can also see their energetic buff in their profile, at the bottom of the first tab (26:00) 😄♥️

It's telling you you need more researchers because each piece of research you select shows you the level of efficiency of the research office you should have to research it in a timely manner. Right now the game is warning you that your research is going to take too long for you to get the research done to have time to do research for other needed things before you get to year three. So you either need better researchers or a manager with more capacity so more people can be researching in the room. If your manager has low capacity, you can borrow some of the headmaster's capacity by using the plus and minus button underneath the management status that allows you to use upper level management points to support the room even if the manager doesn't have the skill to do the room.

I've read somewhere that lower stat teachers make good security guards and food service-so they may be worth hiring just to put them in those positions when the time arrives for making those services-but take what I read with a grain of salt-or a bag of tea or whatever-I'm still confused about the game too-I keep getting messages about departments being overwhelmed but it won't tell me why

You need to get staff with the highest management skill possible running departments so they can deal with more, hire the best management skills and train it up as fast as you can
