Thank you thank you thank you. My seat nut broke this morning and my first reaction was "gotta' take the wheel off". Decided to check youtube first and there you were with this neat trick. Terrific.

4 year old video saved my day! Didn't think I was going to make our ride. I lost the little clip when I took my seat off. Thought I was in for hours of work. Thank you x1000

You saved me after failed attempt with my hands from the side and back. I was going to resort to a magnet extension then the youtube light bulb illuminated. 15 seconds later the nut was in place. Thanks again.

Worked perfectly. At my local dealer, the bolt, retaining washer, and nut came to about $10 for the set. I bought two sets, because I don't want to be this irritated again.
    Thanks!

Thank you soooo much!!!! When attempting to put my seat back on to my ultra classic some how mine fell through the hole and after removing a saddle bag, I realized that my hand wasn't going to fit for me to get it back in place. After about an hour I found your video!! It took me less than a minute 😂 to get it back in place with the zip tie!

    Great trick.
It’s a lousy setup from HD though, those plastic clips come undone very easily, especially if you have a rack and seat that bolt through the same nut.

I need a video to REMOVE the rear seat nut (to access the battery) on a deceased's Indian Chief Classic as they had a touring seat frame on the back which all but hides the nut, with just a little visibility. I have no idea how to remove the touring frame. I feel like banging the bar with a hammer to dent it inwards to allow me to get a socket on that sucker. Came across your video if you have any tips.
