The MANAGER is trying to avoid having his player thrown out of the game by taking the heat himself. Arguing balls & strikes will get you thrown out fast because these blind AF jerk off umpires who blow calls all the time can't handle being told they're sht!

Reminds me of a little league game that I saw several years ago where a player on the losing team got upset with losing, and made like he was going to toss his helmet down, but ultimately held on to it and just walked away dejected. The home plate umpire acted as if the player had thrown his helmet at another player. The ump lost his mind and threw out the player and then the player's coach when the coach got upset. I'm pretty sure the ump also threw out the player's dad, after the dad also got upset. Again, this was after the last out was made and everybody was already getting ready to leave. The guy was such a power tripping douche-canoe that he ejected two or three people after a little league game had ended. I have no idea if he ever officiated another game, but I sincerely hope he didn't.

I really feel sorry for umpires on the 'foul or fail' calls SOMETIMES when the ball is narrowly avoiding/contacting the line. Going at that speed, it can sometimes be really hard to decide in a split moment to make the actual right call, since that it's going VERY fast.
