The hit happened a fraction of a second after the ball carrier went down. There's no way he could have pulled off that hit and there's no reason he should have been expected to. The hit happened a fraction of a second after the ball carrier went down. There's no way he could have pulled off that hit and there's no reason he should have been expected to. I just don't see how you call that an illegal hit on a quarterback who was part of the play.

Are the officials allowed to say: "There are too many fouls to call. Penalties offset, the offense is disqualified, the defense is disqualified. The sidelines both have 90 seconds to field their teams."

They penalized everyone who was on the sideline .... coach and everyone and banned them from the playoffs that were supposed to begin the next week. The NFL has it easy with officials.
