      Angel Hernandez is the only empire that needs a good right hook for a player!!

    Great hearing Vin Scully. He was the greatest ever.

    I was with Mike Napoli on the first one, but the one at 7:02 was a perfect pitch. That was a strike even if Angel Hernandez was umpiring.

    You've been ejected for arguing with an umpire, about a call that the umpire missed to begin with...
    Good stuff!

      Umps make mistakes. Sometimes players think umps make mistakes when the call is golden. Over 165 bad calls/good calls will even out.

  • @XXelpollodiabloXX

    0:47 That was the strikiest strike to ever be a strike.

    Videos like this show us how strong the Umpires Union is. They continue to employ and protect these morons with seemingly little to no improved updated training.

    • @michaelstafford5069
      @michaelstafford5069 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So very true. They need the Fox strike box on the big ass screen to help these blind umps.

    • @XXelpollodiabloXX
      @XXelpollodiabloXX ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Videos like this show you how umpires are correct the overwhelming majority of the time. If they weren't, then videos like this wouldn't be interesting. They wouldn't have to scrape together the same handful of clips everyone else does for their "bAd UmPiReS!" videos, cobbled together from over several years. Go find a video of umpires getting it right. It's called, "Pretty much the rest of the game." It's hard back there. It's not as easy as the haters think it is. You don't get to watch it on replay and in slow-mo, you have to make a call right then and there. Yes, they make wrong calls, but if you paid any attention to an actual game you'd realize those are the exception, not the rule. And I 100% guarantee you that if you worked any game where the players are really good, and they are dealing fire and placing their breaking balls, you'd crap your pants. You'd see things totally differently. These guys are pros, but that doesn't make it any easier - especially when you have everyone on your ass if you are anything short of perfect.

    • @XXelpollodiabloXX
      @XXelpollodiabloXX ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaelstafford5069You know that box isn't the same as the one MLB uses to plot pitches, right? That isn't anything official. That is Fox (or whatever broadcast) setting up their own graphic overlay. Watch two broadcasts of the same game, then compare them side-by-side. It's hilarious how many times they are totally different.

    • @lubrew5862
      @lubrew5862 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@XXelpollodiabloXXThe technology exists and has existed for years that can call balls and strikes with near 100% accuracy and no bias. The umps union is the only reason it hasn’t been used to take the place of the lazy and biased umps.

    • @XXelpollodiabloXX
      @XXelpollodiabloXX ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lubrew5862 It's nowhere close to 100%. And it's super fun when it just decides to stop calling strikes like it has done this year. You have no idea what you're even talking about. Go on with you. You're not a serious person.

    I love how the umps stand face to face wirh them knowing the players cant touch them. They are horrible and need to be gone. Cameras and computers can do way better

  • @shannonlank8220

    I have been a fan all my life. But for the past 10 years I have seen the umpiring going south. They need to stop watching the catchers glove and use their eyes. Most of the calls are crap(Too high Too low or hitting the ground ) To me the umpires need stronger glasses or need to sit-down or just flat out retire . Because they are not doing there jobs. When the players get mad let them vent. Don't throw them out when their back is turned.
    Better yet get rid of the home plate umpire and use a computer.

    I thought throwing your bat was an automatic ejection.

    • @harvardnshorty
      @harvardnshorty ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is. Apparently, some of these players and commentators don't know the rules.

    • @ts.elliot5870
      @ts.elliot5870 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on how the player throws the bat and where the bat is thrown. Usually the players comments get then tossed rather than the bat, but it's possible. If you slam your equipment that's an automatic fine.

    The ego of these umpires. I think of umpires as wanna be baseball players but couldn’t make the cut, so they want to make the calls to feel important and included

      Players have bumped, pushed and shoved umpires. If the do it's a big fine and days off without pay. The coach usually gets in front of the player before it gets too crazy.
