pete please remember us professionals that use the guns daily will only clean through after use and maybe a full strip down monthly, some people dont do a full strip down for a few months etc so the amount of full strip downs you have down will be the equivalent to years of use mate 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Grant, Yeah, I do realise that, that's why I try and estimate the number of times it's been apart, to try and give people an idea of what to expect under there circumstances.
To be fair to the gun, it was the only thing I noticed that gave away the fact that it's not built to the same standards as the PRD guns, it works really well even for clear coat and base.

@@peteshobbies5383 yeah in theory they should last years and im very keen to see there version of a mini gun!! Obviously i have top brand guns etc but i can see how impressed you are with the brand and if they do it right i feel there mini gun could be very good 👍 👍 👍
@grantssmartrepairs I'm really excited about the mini gun. It was scheduled for earlier this year, but it's obviously taking longer, which I'm thinking is reassuring as they want to get it right.

Hi David, This is the cheaper end of their range, so the build isn't as good as their quality guns, but it's still pretty good and it sprays very well no matter what I've put through it,cheers mate 👍
Thanks for another informative video. These Porphus guns are really good quality. Interesting to see how their more economy lines produce a nice finish.( in the hands of a talented painter)

Hi Scott, Yeah, I was very happy with it. You can tell it's not made to the same standards as the other Porphis guns I have, but it's much cheaper, so you can't expect it.

ANOTHER GOOD VIDEO, pete,I normally pay,$30 to $50 U.S. DOLLARS for primer guns don't really care if they last,or not,that's better than paying $800 for a primer gun and you have to keep on buying over and over again at $800😂
Hi Lesli, I don't blame you mate, priming isn't fun and you still may need to prep the surface again before paint so it doesn't matter too much about the finish, certainly with primer/fillers, thanks buddy 👍

Hi Pete, great video as always mate and the PHS135 looks to be a fairly good gun for the price, what I did like and you mentioned it in the video is that it lays down a nice wet coat of primer which is often what you need for primer work and was one of the things I wasn't so keen on when I had my FLG 1.8, you can see that the coating on the gun is not anodised but you get what you pay for so on the cheaper guns something has to give👌

Hi Steve, They do the PHS155, which is a step up from the PHS135, they also make a PRD515 in 1.8, that's there Pro range, I have a 515 but is 1.3 for base and clear so can't say how well it performs in 1.8
What are you cleaning your parts with in the beginning? and how long do you wait and let that stuff dry?
Hi mate, it's a solvent panel wipe. As soon as it evaporated, you're ready to go. You can get fast or slow versions, I use fast most of the time because it is rarely that warm. Obviously, the warmer it is, the faster it evaporates

You reviewed the 1.8 phs 135 but they only sell the 1.3 on the website.
Hi buddy, they make it in 1.3, 1.6, and 1.8, I have a 1.8 and 1.3. If you message them, they can supply whatever size of the three you want
@@peteshobbies5383 Just got mine today. The blue plastic thing can be removed, I'll put a M4x4 stainless grub screw in mine to make it look better. 3m pps 2.0 26003 S2C adapter fits this gun.
@toycoma98 Hi Mate, Yes, it's just a screw thread , I was saying in the unboxing video it must be part of the manufacturer process as it has no other use
@@peteshobbies5383 I was wrong, M4x3 would fit better, the m4x4 grub screw i got was a cup point and it is not flush. Have to grind it. M4x3 flat bottom would work better, ebay seller The rusty bolt shop sells 2 pieces for 2 bucks.
Hello from Colorado. I have been watching numerous videos on this gun and have seen all yours and you do a very through review job. Today, I ordered the PRD-715 and used the 5% discount. THANKS! My only concern is the shipping from China to US. I asked them to double box the spray gun and not just put brown paper on the display box and ship it 7,000 miles. How were the spray guns shipped to you? Any damage? Thank you.
Hi buddy, I've had no problems with any of the guns I've had from them from shipping or anything else for that matter.
They put the box in a cardboard box with a few extra layers of cardboard around the box, it seems to work well, I've had one where the fluid adjustment put a dent in the gun box but gun and controls were fine, all the rest had no problems.
For the UK, they use Fed Ex and once shipped its 2 days to my doorstep.
I forgot to mention the discount code in the video, but it's good to hear it came in handy. It was originally 10%, but they reduced it to 5%. Still, it's better than nothing. Cheers, mate 👍

I'm in US and ordered one 2 weeks ago. Still have.not received it. Tracking number just says handed over to delivery partner I'm gonna give it a few more days
Probably stuck in Customs. Everything from China entering the US has to go through Customs. I have had this happen to me before buying from the other "A".
