      Hi, firstly, for the 2021/2022 admission session, it was not required to do this before the online application for those applying for the master's degree programme; nevertheless, for bachelor's degree programmes, it must be done before applying for any course. I don't know if that will be the case for this year (2022/2023 session) though. Nonetheless, you will eventually do it before you graduate in Luxembourg, so whichever way it is vital. Here is the link to the recognition application process. Please go through it carefully.

      Where did you send your application, and through what means?. You'll need to make your application on time; your admission letter should have stated the application deadline and when you should be at the school. The application usually takes about 60 days or so ( you need to clarify this). However, since you applied two weeks ago, I ask that you please be patient and wait for the outcome. If the standard time elapses, you may contact the Immigration Directorate Luxemburg. (Their email and contact information are publicly available.) .

    So if u are above 27yrs u won't work up to 40 hours a week . during holidays.. sir what's the reason for this policy?
    Secondly can someone see jobs that they will pay at hand instead of bank in Luxembourg? I mean side job aside ur 15minutes time .. especially on holidays

    • @nuelonyedikaokpala
      @nuelonyedikaokpala  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, there is a policy of age restriction in terms of full-time working during holidays as a student, and it is just a policy that I don't have control over. Although under special conditions, this may be waived, and this must pass through the administrative processes, which I don't have the details of here. The standard means of salary payment is through bank transfer, and this is what must be followed except for someone who has a business that involves buying and selling. So I have no knowledge of a job that pays by cash; I can only say what I have experienced as permissible by law. Please ensure that any action you take is in line with the law, and you must follow the terms of your visa as a foreign student to avoid problems in the future. Regards Nuel

    i'm planning to study at Lunex Universtiy with Physiotherapy program. As for my living cost and second year tuition fees, I'm going do fitness personal trainer as a part time in school season and full time in holiday. Because i have enough experiences and got international certificates. I'm a little doubt that, is it easy to find gym trainer job in Luxembourg? and can i do trainer with only english language? as a additional question, how much can i make money per hours?

    • @nuelonyedikaokpala
      @nuelonyedikaokpala  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol, I am not in the best position to tell you whether you will get a gym trainer job in Luxembourg. ; Luxembourg speaks mainly French, but there are a couple of international companies with English-speaking staff too. So it all depends. You can quickly check the minimum wage payment structure in Luxembourg. Nevertheless, students can work and study. The students at the university of Luxembourg do work part-time within the University mainly. NOTE: Your primary goal is to study and not to work, so always have that in mind and make sure you balance that effectively.
      Kind regards
      Nuel

    • @nuelonyedikaokpala
      @nuelonyedikaokpala  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi again; I am not familiar with fitness-related jobs. When I was at the University of Luxembourg, I worked at the research centre within the University ( PART TIME), and the university has a job site. Luxembourg is becoming more international now, and some companies also employ English-speaking workers. So, there may be a possibility of finding gym centres that may need English speakers since most people who go to the gym are young people, especially if such a gym is situated near an educational environment. In such instances, there is a possibility that most of them may be students and perhaps can speak English. I do know that there is a gym centre close to the University of Luxembourg Belval campus ( Address: 1 Av. du Swing, 4367 Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg), which is just within the campus, so such a gym may have people who speak English due to the location, so it all depends.
      Secondly, I realised that you have a passion for the gym trainer job, but you can always start from somewhere. Nevertheless, a job that involves public interaction outside, a research job etc., may require some basic knowledge of French, so you may still need to learn French in the long run.
      [NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY WORK PART-TIME DURING SCHOOL SESSIONS, AND YOUR PRIMARY OBLIGATION IS TO STUDY]
      Regarding how much per hour, it has to be based on the basic monthly social inclusion income according to the LUX law, and it also depends on where you work. In addition, living costs depend on your lifestyle and level of expenses. Accommodation is what may take a bunch of your living expenses; the University of Luxembourg does have accommodation for their students, which is relatively cheaper compared to private accommodation; I am not sure if your university does provide housing for their students, you may inquire from them, and they could get your advice on how to get an accommodation perhaps that may be affordable.
      All the best with your journey to LUX. Regards Nuel

      @@munariogbonna3055 Hi, I suggest you secure accommodation that shows at least 6 months to 1-year rental agreement because your daughter is going to study, which requires a long-term residence permit. Proof of accommodation is integral to the application for authorisation to stay. So you may have to find private accommodation from estate agencies. Although this may be more expensive, you need that contract agreement for her Visa application because you must show that she has reliable accommodation while in Luxembourg; now, if she comes into the country, she may then have time to search for a cheaper house and she can relocate if she finds better and more affordable options. Hotel accommodation may not be admissible because she is not going on a tour, she is going to study, and hotel accommodation does not suggest that. So I will advise you to get her proper accommodation with a valid contract showing the duration of the contract and not a hotel. This is my view. Kind regards. Nuel

      Hi, I cannot be more clear than what I said in my video ( check that on my channel,) and what was stated on the official website of the Immigration Directorate, as shown from the extract below:
      The following may be used as proof:
      The original document of the certificate of scholarship or student loan stating the amount and its duration;
      An original bank certificate and a bank statement for the past 6 months: attesting that the student has enough financial resources on his/her own account; or
      in case the student is supported by the parents: attesting that the student's parents have enough financial resources and that they are financially solvent and capable to cover subsistence costs, medical and study cost for at least one year (12 months) as well as return travel costs;
      the original financial statement of support for the intention of the Luxembourg State and the student, signed by a sponsor of Luxembourgish nationality or staying legally in Luxembourg, and regarding subsistence costs, medical and study costs for at least 1 academic school year as well as return travel costs, established in the correct legal form (see also the section 'Forms / Online services at the bottom of the page;
      Material advantages granted to the student (such as free accommodation) or the remuneration from a work contract (maximum 15 hours per week) are also taken into account.

You may have to find a potential supervisor. The best would be to complete your PhD there or start a new PhD programme if you have not gone far in your research.
