You must make your application online via the University official website and not through email. For masters degree programme what you need is your bachelors degree certificate and transcript of results. For bachelors degree programmes you need your high school certificate and transcripts with other requirements as stated by individual courses. Regards. Nuel

Nothing like a letter from the university was mentioned here. I couldn't have explained this any better. It stated that if you obtained a degree or certificate in a language similar to the language used in teaching the programme you want to apply for within the last 2 years, then you don't need evidence of language proficiency. Again, it is not talking about a letter from your university; anybody can get a letter; the information here was specific and clear. (This is a mandatory requirement). Also, part of the condition for the recognition of high school certificate application is evidence of either French, German or Luxembourgish language proficiency. If you studied the English Language in your previous degree, then you need to show a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) certifying the completion of a programme in which the main language of instruction was the same as the teaching language(s) of the selected programme at the University of Luxembourg. NOTE: The graduation date of the diploma needs to be within the last two years at the moment of the candidate’s application. If this condition is not fulfilled, the candidate must deliver a language certificate such as IELTS. Firstly, what is BSN? Top-up degrees are usually common in the UK, not in the European Union and to the best of my knowledge, the University of LUX does not have top-up degree programmes. What they have is a classical 3-year degree programme. Regards Nuel

Please understand the difference between a VISA D application and a temporary authorisation to stay application. The first step is to secure admission. If you are going to study, you will apply for a temporary authorisation to stay, which may be posted to the Immigration Directorate Luxembourg. Then, once your Temporary Authorization to Stay is approved, you will use that to apply for your VISA D. The basic condition is that you should have graduated from an English-taught programme within the last two years; otherwise, you have to provide evidence of English Language proficiency. In your situation, I suggest you email the University of Luxembourg admission office and attach your MBA certificate. It is important that you do that as soon as possible, as applications for admission for 2025/2026 academic year will open on 1-2-2025

If not you will have to provide proof of English language proficiency even if you studied with English language.
