These are basic vital checks. I am not sure about your second question, what further appointments are you referring to?

Hi, How much time it currently takes to receive TWA letter after submitting application and documents to the Ministry of Luxembourg?
Generally it is 4-6 weeks
However in covid times it may extend as well. Also if your application is submitted in July/Aug there is further chance of delay as most officers will be on summer holiday. All the best

Hi there, just a question, to apply for the authorization to stay, I belive a criminal record is needed. The criminal record should be addressed to the immigration i, Luxembourg or is it the embassy in India? Further along with the authorization to stay does the immigration department return thr criminal record to us ?

He needs to be sponsored by a company to apply for work permit. Or at least get a job first that allows him a delayed joining date of 3 months and within this time he applies and gets the work permit.

Not true. If you have a work permit and residence permit your spouse will automatically have a work permit. She/he dont need to apply separately for work permit as she will have EU blue card giving him/her same rights as you.

It used to be 4-6 weeks pre pandemic
but now for some it even takes 3 months

Everyone needs separate visa. Application could be done together in a single visit though

Probably there is a limited provision that the university offers. You might want ti check with the university directly

Yes there are 4 English medium free schools across the country and probably 3 more private ones . However, every commune/locality has public schools that are free, though not English medium but a great way for kids to socialize and have friends

Don't go into luxembourg better leave it alone is full of european public servants that don't pay taxes and social security and have TVA isentions. Unless you want pay for them is ok
