I had the police turn up at night shining their torches around and accusing me of abducting my grandson and keeping him in my house against his will. Problem was I don't have any grandchildren but that didn't stop the female cop Changing the subject and claiming she was scared of my dog that was wagging her tail in an unthreatening manner. In hindsight I should have suggested she rethink her career in the police force and to get a far safer job if she was that scared. For context this was in June last year in New Zealand.

There should be a procedure put in place for anonymous complaint calls. Eliminating them. If you call the police to report "suspicious behavior" or "possible domestic violence" You should have to give your name, birth date and phone number. That way, if the claim ends up being false, the caller can get put in the hot seat... If you call to report a crime you should identify yourself. Maybe that will put a stop to karen calls, or nosy neighbors... How can phone calls be a reliable source, when you dont even know whos giving you the info? I guess the itch for their drug of choice (ID) is only when face to face...

The Police CAN tell who is calling!! Also they ask the caller their name and confirm the callers phone number!

The pigs can't help but lie in every single situation. They say they don't know who called, but the 911 operator (a) asked for the caller's name on the phone, which they always do, and (b) has caller ID so they knew it anyway.

People calling the cops gives the cops job security…they don’t want to stop the calls, that would put them out of work. They don’t have time to investigate anything, but they got a call not even knowing who called. That’s what they need to investigate.

That cop said when he pulled up he stood outside for a few he did hear but because he has a badge he had to knock and wake you up. And then stand on your porch like he is your friend leaning on the railing all comply cool.what a piece of crap.

Because they were there on a bullshit “call” and had no reason to continue being on the property.
Doing literally anything in the curtilage of a private home is presumptively a violation of the constitution. If they sue the cops, the burden of proof is on the cops to prove it wasn’t.
