My Emove Cruiser S has been helping me commute with the bus and train lately but I'm seriously looking at this Roadrunner. Mainly because I can take a bus to their store to get it worked on but also because I'm wishing I had purchased it first instead of the Cruiser. Good luck, buddy!
These appear to be a variant of the OEM D4 NanRobot series scooters. They are sold by several different venders including Roadrunner, Solar, Laotie, all with slightly differing accessories. As long as you pick the options that you need the most, just find a reseller that you can trust. Overall they are fast as hell and pretty decent for their price point. My Solar P1 2.0 has consistently got around 23-25 miles range using both motors in 3 rd gear.
Great to know! I got 25.8 on the P1 2.0 Sometimes I wonder if our range test is too hard on the scooters because of the hills, but it sounds like we're right on target with your experience. -Paul
It's also the frame used by the Solar P1 pro and YUME Y10, and the one I just got, the _Leoout_ GT88 for $760 from the jungle "Prime" place. The differences are the front suspension, brakes, and battery and motor specs. The GT88 has dual 1400W peak, 28A controllers, 52v nominal, 25AH 14S5P 21700 battery pack, tubeless tires, mechanical disc brakes, LT01 display/trigger throttle. 35mph top speed on a calibrated speedometer (I'm 5'11", 210lb) and a claimed 50-60 mile range, probably closer to 40 with reasonable driving.
@@jdawg206A All Scooter resellers basically use just a handful of frame styles. Like comparing one sedan vs another. Its the components the company outfits each model with that really makes the difference. It's the 'electric trifecta' if you will... the combinations of Motor+Controller+Battery that make all the difference when buying a scooter.
Right on man this is one of the scooters that is on my list to get for my son along with the RS5 Max mainy for the range and lower speeds and also the Apollo go because of its light weight frame. You guys always go above and beyond. Thank you guys. 😎👊

I bought this scooter at Roadrunner in Denver CO April 2023. I took it with me in my RV and traveled the country. I rode this thing on the coast of Oregon and coast of Maine, and everywhere in between! It even got left in the rain all night by accident and still didnt skip a beat. I now have 1200 miles on it, and just installed my 3rd rear tire. I love this scooter and hope it continues to last me.
Hi guys, so when can all of us expect your review on the brand new RX7? That is by far the most beautiful scooter i have ever seen and though my wife told me to Sell my GT1 and Max G2, i think if i just get an extra shed to store them in, i might be able to get away with having an RX7 next to my Inmotion RS without my wife getting irritated with me lol 😅
Roadrunner's higher end scooters like the RS5, and RS7, are pretty impressive, but at this price point I think the Solar EQ is a better value. I like the steering dampner, but it might be overkill on a 40 mph scooter. Great review. Thanks to everyone ar ESG.
This is one of the most Rebranded scooters on the market. All things considered it's fine but the only benefit of that hefty price tag is customer service and that blue colour build.
I’ve been riding it for like two months and have 200 miles on it. It has been awesome for me with good range and full power through the entire life of the battery.
I recently got a Yume Hawk Pro for under $1500. 60v 30ah Samsung battery, dual 3000w motors, tubeless 4.5"x10" tires, max speed of 50mph and 60mi range. Comes with two chargers for fast charging and a damper, NFC keys, a thumb throttle and an index throttle, as well as a few other less important accessories. I'm not saying this scooter is crap, my cousin rides a RR RS5 and it's awesome (except that they claim it's tubeless and they're absolutely tubed tires). But the Yume seems to be built way better than this one.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I've only had mine for a couple weeks but the experience has been great. Their customer service seems on point too, Jenny Zhang is very fast to reply and help with any issues.
IP53, I wouldn’t even get close to water. Seems like a lot of people think IP62 is better than IP45 when it comes to water resistance. They don’t seem to know that it’s only the second digit that tell you what kind of water resistance that is on offer which means that IP45 is way better than IP62 when it comes to water. The first digit is about dust and solid stuff.
Fold down handle bars are worth the extra couple hundred bucks when you suddenly need to put it in a car trunk - -i like the digital card keys of the VSETT line -wonder how it compares to a Vsett9 ? Wiped out like myself hitting soft sand in Joshua Tree :)
Nice stack mate. It's always hard to tell when the gravel is just too loose. One sec you're fine another your front tyre is buried 2 inches into the sand.
For $1,500 I think I'd rather have the Segway GT1. I have a Segway Ninebot Max G2 but I want to buy the Segway Max GT1 next because it looks so nice and 37 miles an hour is fast enough for me
How come ESG has never reviewed the Mukuta10+? I would like to see some episodes on the many scooters that exist which have been rebranded from other scooters albeit with some differing decals and perhaps options. As for this thing, it looks like it was newly designed for 2015, definitely not for 2024!
Am I the only one that wishes esg had some type of app that had all the gear and products they use and recommend? Is there a site or something I can go to? I've only been into scooters for just over a month and I'm lost when it comes to the best products 😂 there's soooo many out there idk what to trust lol
Because careful. Support is very limited with this company. Tried to find a video or even instructions on how to remove the front wheel to change a tire and receive no information.
For $1500, you'd think they'd put on grips better than the absolute cheapest they sell on the market, for about $10. The grips slip, slide, move, don't lock on, and for off-road trails that are very rough like ones I'm on daily, they suck. I have to replace them. I JUST got this scooter and that annoys the piss out of me. It's why our economy is broken, or world is broke, and why people have shitty jobs, just to pay the bills. To see this company trying to profit from the grips, is sickening. Just put the damn $30 locking grips on there, for Christ's sake. Wow! I'm still in shock of how horrible these grips truly are, how dangerous they are, and how they are not a liability as of yet! How can they get away with this shit?
