For Jetson Haze shorter riders 5 feet and below you can swap out the tires to 14". Doing this will shave 2" off the ride height. If it's still too high you can see about shaving another 1" or so off the top of the seat post by cutting it. I did this for my Buddies kids ages 10 & 12. It now rides perfectly for them.
Nice👍🏻👍🏻i didn't know about the zip tides...😂😂 that's a great idea...I will do it like that next time...well tomorrow when I get the proper size of inner tube from Amazon...👊🏽
My jetson bolt pro has been having accelerator issues. Its accelerator suddenly popped off one day and stopped working and its headlight keeps flashing the accelorator can turn all the way around now any ways to fix it?
Did you just publish a 3-hour long video? Sorry I have a 20-minute max attention span/patience limit. I'm glad to see that you brought back the jokes and sound effects!
Great videos very helpful. I’m going to go to Costco and get the Jetson HAZE. Does the bike rack you show for the bolt pro also work with the HAZE? I have a nice Arkel Pannier backpack. I’d love to hang from it. Couldn’t find the links to it that I miss where they were or have you not entered them yet in the video?
Check this th-cam.com/video/cNNI2iuBP3w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EoQa4vgH1wZPPEV1, along with short corner brackets, you can make it work. The rack is highly adjustable and a better fit for rear suspension style bikes. The rear of the bolt and haze are completely different
How’s it going man, recently purchased a used haze but it does not want to charge. It turns on and has some power for a bit but never ACTUALLY charges. what could this problem be? Can i send you pictures through email or something like that by any chance, would really want to get to the bottom of this. Also, i bought a brand new haze charger and the charger itself doesn’t fit inside of the charging area. thank you!
This is the video they got me going down the rabbit hole to get the code looking for the code. I finally found it. I didn’t understand what code obviously it’s the Jetson speed hack so it’s gonna have the blueprint for how it can tell the controller what to do. I need is a copy of it at that time but I actually told this to you before I think anyway so thank you again because this is a different video, I guess you put all these videos together because this video that you’re showing right now I watched like individually not in a series in clips like this so I appreciate the effort that you really put into this and you did it to 2022 Jetson well I did it with the Jetson j5 and they don’t even have lights to flash, so I press that red button like three times I was a little skeptical at first because I didn’t have lights. I didn’t have brake lights. I don’t have cruise control like you could go look up the Jetson. J5 electric bike and you’ll see it’s made to build my own accessories and do as I please with it. It came naked basically and I gotta put clothes on it. Sincerely, thank you for all the videos man help me out like mentally as well because I wanted to just go faster, you know what I mean, when I should’ve really been worried about just enjoying the bike and getting to know it first, so I did that first I got to know my bike first I got to know everything about a lot of mods. I understand the system that needs to be in the Jetson electric bike so that doesn’t overheat and Little by little ruined my bike so I understand how to put this together. It’s going to cost a little bit of money and not that much but thank you again much respect to you and your family and I feel like family too with the Jetsons. We are the Jetsons.
Great content, I think it’s amazing what you’re doing showing a bunch of test and things on but at that time you know I guess that’s how they did things you know and I don’t understand how they’re gonna build an electric bike that cannot get up a hill and it don’t matter how steep the hill is if you have an electric bike, no matter how big or small. It should be strong enough to take you up the hill. I wouldn’t buy a bike electric bike that couldn’t take me up the hill I can get up the hill with my Jetson.j5 peddling alone and no throttle and I could get up the hill with her just a throttle and I’m glad that they are they upgraded the Jetson Pro or the Jetson Pro or whatever because at that time a lot of people were buying them and doing a lot of modifications with them and of course I join the group to go faster I like to be out there longer so I’m always in search of a great battery 36v 20ah Really keeps me out there longer almost all day, and I still got Juice To ride the next day and it stays at the top speed, especially I am blessed because in my Jetson there was a single wire not attached to anything so I did the elegoo Arduino board and loaded the code from my computer 💻 to the elegoo board then I hooked up with the bike and it worked perfectly it just took me 😂a week to figure out how to get the code 😂😂
the hill is steep and long, half of the e-bikes i test have failed, including 750W 48v bikes. i still use my Jetson even though i went through a lot of e-bikes, since and enjoyable, but my daily rider has been voro motors se, it’s like an upgraded Jetson, and when it runs out of juice, i grab the Jetson. considering doing a dual battery mod for it…… as well as turning one off my heating back into a dual battery, i ride often. Will likely do an update on this channel, Ben working on another channel, side business, not much time to post
For the Haze, get bigger 16x3 inch tires for it. Much better stability and traction, and better rolling. 16x3 tires are basically 18 inch tires and makes the Haze look a bit bigger and more like a "normal" bicycle. FX BMX folding adapter to make the Haze look more like a BMX bike and cooler in my opinion. Better control too with BMX handlebars. And I would replace the 125mm rear shock with something better. The stock one is too stiff and terrible, especially for lighter people. Can replace it easily with any 125mm rear standard shock, ideally get a decent quality oil + coil based rear shock with knob adjustment. 650lb shock is enough for light people. Hydraulic rear shock without adjustment works fine too and it's cheaper.
Asked for a favorite accessories when I’m buying is the peak design iPhone case and holder for the bike and car and a mobile holder for bikes when I travel in Europe and rent a bike. I’m getting the everyday case with loop - it has a very cool magnet system, which holds the loop in, so no need to ever buy a pop socket again! They have great videos on TH-cam, for all their products, incredibly well produced and super clear Hope that gives you some new ideas.
it looks great, however too expensive. I have reviewed several of their items on my camera channel, quite familiar with the product. I use a super simple phone holder that works extremely well with any phone without need for magnet, and extremely fast/secure to operate. I have an updated accessory video that shows in use: amzn.to/3QJz2gI it is a motorcycle style mount, which are the best for not only bicycles, but the ball can be removed and used inside your vehicle! I use a similar even cheaper one for my cars because they are rock solid, work with my wife's "Max" phone as well as my normal "pro" phone. That said, I don't use a phone mount other than for testing. I've forgot my phone on my bike, going into the store, multiple times now. The one I use for my cars are these: amzn.to/3scyBlM nine bucks with coupon, and they work well on the bike too. It's hard to find good phone mounts and with a lot of testing, I've narrowed it down to motorcycle phone mounts that work the best without a premium price.
@@YouTruther I’ll have to check out your camera channel didn’t know. I’ve just found you today. For e-bikes. my number one criteria is a portable system that will work in Europe when I’m running bikes over there on vacation so something that will reliably, easily and very securely connect over there and here. Know anything about upgrading the jetson Axle?
Has anyone replaced their Jetson Haze battery with aftermarket one? Jetson does not sell the battery for it anymore or forever out of stock.
Have you find out what battery will fit the Haze?
