Please offer the entire story if you are going to share your opinion. RoadRunner's customer service is well known for being some of the best in the industry. The truth is that you wrecked your scooter and you shared this fact with us. This was prior to the 2.0 being released. You then tried to spin the cause of your wreck on the throttle in order to get a 2.0. We are extremely fair and will always make decisions that lean in the customer’s favor. We however do not cover items under warranty that happen to the scooter by no fault of its own (wrecked scooter). Based on all the reviews and press, it is obvious RoadRunner has superb customer service. Stories such as this are rare for a reason. These comments are meant to give truthful and honest feedback to assist others interested in purchasing a new scooter and we would ask that you do just that or be removed from doing so.
Sounds to me as if this customer wants his scooter fixed and rightfully so, just from these two comments it tells me the wrecked happened due to a faulty throttle on this scooter, so YES you should be responsible for fixing it for this customer, however because he was honest about it you as a company are trying to get out of a warranty the should be covering this in any way shape or form, it's not like people are throwing a couple hundred buck away for a scooter, It's actually quite expensive. A messed up throttle is going to get someone hurt really bad if not killed because it's something the customer can not control if it's faulty. I see lawsuits happening. This response from the company has been the deciding factor for me to never buy one and I really hope it is for others as well.. I WILL STICK TO MY TURBO ANTS..
@@RoadRunnerScooters You guys aren't fair because I'm having issues with my scooter also and mines won't even turn on due to you guys and I only had it for 2 weeks. I've had an RS5 V2.0 for about 2 weeks now, but it had at least one issue out of the box...3rd gear never really worked properly! It was erratic and sputtery in 3rd, as if the power to the motors was being sporadically cut off, and this was regardless of the amount of applied throttle...so I only use 1st and 2nd. However, me only weighing about 140-145lbs, dual motor / 2nd gear gets me up to 30mph in maybe...3 seconds (or less!) The thing is an absolute BEAST.
