I have this watch for nearly 7 years and I still love it! Unfortunately the battery gave up so I need to get a new one now but nearly 7 years running is pretty impressive for me. I work full time ever since and I was wearing it every single day. Just for those who consider buying, absolutely recommend this watch! I have the Titanium blue version. Light and durable.

Great tutorial! I forgot how to disable the silly alarm, and now I know =] I own 4 Citizen watches (3 of them are Eco-Drive) and this model is the most sophisticated. Wish there was a similar tutorial for my scuba-diving watch, I need a refresher on that one as well...
I live in an area that gets no radio reception. But there is a workaround, there are third party apps (Clockwave on iOS, WWVB Emulator on android for example) that mimic the radio signals of the different transmitters. So I set the time zone to NYC for example, sync with the app, then use A-TM to set to my local time zone. I have three radio controlled watches and am able to keep accurate time on all of them.

I was looking at at 4010 the titanium one. Haven't bought it yet maybe for Christmas for myself. Glad to see all these functions! I have a citizen Skyhawk I got for my bday 9 years ago and the radio reception used to be high all the time and now I have to set it vertical in specific locations which is why I was looking for new watches. Very nice man it's simple process if you watch the video I got two of these this black one and brown colour and watched this video many times. Woman from Ernest Jones fixed my black one and the brown one I tried manually but then watched video again and again the watch does automatic radio controlled time and date just hold and press the right lower button for two or three seconds. Best time like the man says is about midnight or after

I dont get it still. So how do u tell.the time .im.stuck on this.. then explain how to charge is it sun or light from.a light souce . Du u have to hold near the sun? How many metres from.sun u have to be? To charge it ?
I've owned this for a year. Although I only wear it occasionally it's nice to wear and the titanium is nice. The only downside to me is the chronograph. The timer resets to zero and turns off at sixty minutes. The minutes dial is too small for sixty minutes scale so you can't see which minute it's on without a magnifying glass. The chronograph doesn't measure sub seconds.
Keen on getting this watch. Regarding the Signal from Germany for London. I guess the one in Rugby, Warwickshire, England is the one that Citizen was referring to when it designed the watch. The Rugby site is one of the oldest in the world. It’s handy that there is one in Germany, too.
I've left my watch near a window (winter season) for about 5 days to charge, shows a full charge and when I go into setting the day/time my charge completly runs dry. Is my watch not holding a charge or should I let it sit near a window for a longer time? It was a gift and was in a box for quite some time from when I opened it.

That really depends more on your wrist and fingers, I am able to pull it out, but my friend who owns it can't as he has chubbier fingers so he has to take it off first

Great video, I just have one question. I live in the UK but sometimes travel to Greece, who are 2 hours ahead. If I use the A-TM setting to manually set 2 hours ahead, will it store the time? So would I be able to use the London setting in the UK then flip to A-TM and it will always read Greece time, or will I have to repeatedly use the A-TM setting to manually change each time I visit?

Hee man thanks for the great video it has already helped me a lot in figuring out this watch. I'm considering buying it but am still a bit fuzzy on some things: So I stay in Lusaka Zambia (UTC +2). Given that I wont get radio reception here and that this watch seems to rely heavily on the radio reception, can you set hours minutes and seconds at will all? I often need to switch between local and UTC. Is it possible to set my local time under the ATM tab and UTC under the LON tab? Would I then be able to set other time zones under the other tabs like UTC +3 under de NYC etc? Another issue: I'm confused about the 24 hour dial, does it always indicate the same as the main dial or is it possible to set it to another time zone like: The main dial on local time and the 24 hour dial on UTC whilst on the ATM tab? Hoping you can find the time to answer.
Hi, the 24 hour hand will always indicate the main time as it is used as an AM/PM indicator. You can set your local time in 15 minute increments or for a single minute. Once you set up the exact minute use the 15 minute increments to specify your time zone so YES you can have you time zone at UTC +2 and the watch will display the correct time for other time zones when you switch to them

i have an issue with the day/'battery status' hand. the 'sunday' position stays around the 45th second. i dont know what caused it. now if the day hand is on monday position, ti means the day is saturday.

It could be that your seconds hand is misaligned by 30 seconds. Try to do the hands correction again and putting the seconds hand in its proper position. Thanks for the donation by the way, very generous of you
Hi there, very useful video, I have several Atomic wall clocks at home, the digital ones and the analog go exact by the second as well as my Apple computers, meaning the seconds hand on all of them is synchronized, but my Citizen AT 4007 always goes behind EXACTLY 30 seconds, do you know why? or how to fix it?

To set the calendar, 1 must turn the dial 2 chronograph, and it will set it automatically?? I have a watch similar to this 1 in the video! When you wear the watch normally (not setting anything), what do the top and bottom buttons do? Stopwatch?

It doesn't matter. The watch only tunes in two signals, Germany and Colorado.

If I leave in Ireland , and come to Spain , the radio signal will automatically forward the watch by one hour , right ?

I think if your watch is off start off be zeroing the watch first. I set everything up and then zeroed last and I had to redo my work

H M L is high, medium, or low. It refers to the strength of the signal the last time it received the atomic clock signal.
