@@realmofwatches1133 I'm new to watches and interested in these calibers. May I ask the main difference of this e660 series and the h series of citizen, such as something like a h804? it seems very alike just by the look of it and how it turns and operates.

If you are within the range of a atomic time transmitter you can just set the correct city and then hold the bottom button for a second or two to trigger the time sync. It’s most likely to work after midnight when the signal is strongest. If reception succeeds the watch will show the correct time. Set SMT to ON, the watch will turn it off automatically when the time signal indicates it is not in force. If you are in a place like Arizona that does not observe daylight saving time set it to OFF.
Very nice video. Just one suggestion, maybe use a small wooden pointer peg or toothpick to point at functions on the watch rather than a fat pen, thank you for the review.

Nice Explanation. Very Clear. Removes doubts about moving the crown clockwise and anti- and the buttons. The standard Time given on the dial is set. What if you are in a time zone which is HH+30m how do you go about doing that. ? You set the time locally but once the time is set manually does the AT take over or it lets the watch run on manually set time. ?

I am missing something, please help: I have set the time zone to Athens because it is similar to Zambia. My questions are;
1. The date changes at midday instead of midnight, how do I have it change when it hits midnight?
2. The small second arm for the stop watch rests on the "off" position, how do I get it to point at the day of the week?

Can you tell me how we can set watch if someone is traveling to time zone which is not part of radio control zones. Can we set watch time manually using TME mode??
Once i set to lax time it is incorrect? I had this about a year and recently with daylight savings my times kept messing up now its all messing up

Hello, It will automatically adjust summer time but you have to adjust the timezone manually.

@@kyliex5 yes you need to zero everything at the CHR then nothing will be offset anymore. I had to find out the hard way. Let me know if it helped or ill try to explain it better

the cities are hard to see , they are under the rim NYC CHI DEN LAX for the cemental USA these are around the 9 location on the E660 . the older E650 , in on the lower small setting hand . good luck Doc..
so i am guessing when i select a desired time zone, the SMT is not going to be automatic. I have to set it myself to let the watch know if the SMT is ON or OFF, correct? As in in my actual time zone if when SMT ends I have to switch to SMT OFF on my own?
this correct , first time only ,once you have the right , radio signal will take over. after seting to match you time zone, it will be automatic . hope this helps ,Doc...

Hello, you would set the second hand to one dash past 5 as we are in May and one year past a leap year being in 2021 and then you set the date of the month and day of the week separately.
read your manual. at the bottom of the day small hand is SMT off and on that is Summer time , once you set it radio controlled watches re set this automatically ...good luck , hope this helps ,Doc..
For USA people, The 9 o'clock body of the watch needs to be near a window and facing Ft Collins, Colorado, to get radio signal. Radio signal is MUCH Better if you set the watch after dark. This is due to the length of the radio waves transmitting and reflecting much better at night than day time off of the atmosphere.
For Calibre E660, the internal antenna, unusually, faces 7 0'clock, not 9 o'clock..

I’m confused about the RX ON OFF feature? Will the watch automatically connect or will I have to do something ?
When its at RX its looking for the signal! It will either go to yes or no first letting know if you got it.
once you get it set it correctly, its an automatic setting , if you live in Arazonia , this has to be manually s.o . they dont use Day light svings time , or summer time . Doc.

I can’t seem to adjust my day ( charge ) small chronograph!! It’s almost like it’s out of calibration and pointing the other way! How annoying ! How do I fix that ?

Hello, no as long as the relevant city is selected once the watch receives a signal it will set the time for you.
i set the watch , but i don't think it is necessary . You need to set time zone manually. i have 3 of these watches , If you hold the bottom button in for 4 or more seconds , will force tower hook up. must be no interference . after don't move watch while it's doing its thing ... Doc

Great Video; You need to mention that the watch MUST be sitting at a southern-facing window for a few minutes first so that it can establish a radio-link to the satellite before attempting to do any settings before you start ;)
The watch is radio-corrected, not satellite signal corrected. Best reception is obtained by having the antenna, usually 9 0'clock, pointed at the nearest radio antenna. That could be any compass direction, depending where you are located. In Cornwall, NE. In Chicago, WSW.

Idk if I'm stupid or what. But isn't the entire point of a radio controlled watch that you don't have to set the time? I mean otherwise that the hell is the point of setting the timezone? I'm actually pissed I just spent $800 on a radio controlled watch for my uncle just for it to not be automatic

Too bad the 24Hr Dial is "slaved" to the big dial and cant indicate GMT time while big hands indicate local time.
The time is supposed to be atomic. It should be radio controlled and automatically set. Mine doesn't so it's going back. It's a nice watch but how can they sell these things based on false information?
It depends what country you are in for the radio controlled function to work or be accurate
